Eve blinks. Oh... So this was NDA as well?... Right. Before she can make a Vee response, however, she feels rather queasy and... flippy for lack of a better term. She's unable to quite place the feeling before she finds herself suddenly looking at a different angle than before. Falling backwards, she had been sitting on her haunches in the position Vee had held, in surprise Eve blinks and looks down at her hands. "I... I'm back?" she asks, but once she hears her voice, she knows, "I'm back! Okay, so you wouldn't believe me, or wait, you already said you have, but my Companeon and I had switched bodies and... and..." Now that she was back in her body, Eve realized the chance of a lifetime she had missed. "... and... Oh my god... Why was I trying to talk to you during that time? I should have been experimenting with Companeon's moves! My once in a lifetime chance! And I wasted it!".
Also, yes, she was talking to Rydian. Though, she certainly didn't seem to be taking much consideration for whether or not Rydian understood a word she was saying.
Vee, in his body now, blinked in much of the same surprise his owner felt. When he looked around and saw his trainer freaking out, he walked over to her, ignoring the laptop and Pokedex still on the ground, and sat straight besides her, vigilantly watching over her moment of excitement.

Rydian looks even more confused than before, but decides to just shrug it off. "So.. I assume you came here to challenge this Gym, right? As you may or may not know, Nalkeya is my cousin, so I've been asked to fill in for her while she's away. Whenever you're ready, we can start."

"Ah! Yes! I'm here to challenge the gym!" Eve confirms as she picks herself up, "So then... Are there any special requirements for this battle?". As she talks, she goes about picking up and packing away her devices. Though, she stares at the screen of her Pokedex in confusion for a few seconds, scrutinizing the NDA message that popped up. This company certainly was thorough...

Rydian shakes her head. "No. No special requirements. Though I'd prefer to keep this as a non-contact battle since I'm still sore from previous matches. I'll fight you full-contact if you want, but I wouldn't expect me to put up much of a fight. Oh, before I forget: formal introductions. My name is Rydian Andario. How many Pokemon would you like to use in this match?"

Eve introduced herself, "Ah, that's right. Nice to meet you, Rydian. I'm Eve Lucian." Having given her name, she moved on to the rest of the business, starting by readily agreeing, "Sounds good to me. I wouldn't want to force you when you're still recovering," and ending with the number of Pokemon she'd like to use, "And since you're recovering, how about making the battle a little shorter than usual? Let's use only 2 Pokemon, I'm fine with both singles and doubles."

Eve, on her end, sends out Ven the Illuseon as far out as she can.
Ven Init - 30
Having first shot, Eve doubles up the focus and inspiration on Ven with a command to, "Let's shut down that big ol' seaweed sea horse with a Hypnosis, Ven!".
Standard action: Focused orders and Inspired orders.
Ven crouches in focus before dashing forwards to get in range of the Dragalge. Feeling confident in his positioning, he uses Hypnosis.

Ven is hit! But his Cursed Body disables the Dragon Pulse for the rest of this battle. "Shadow Claw! Go all in!" Eve switches her tactics, giving Focused and Brutal orders to go along with the change.

Dragalge is hit as well, but Ven is stuck by one of the venomous barbs on the Mock Kelp Pokemon's body. (Poison Point causes Ven to become Poisoned.)
Rydian binds Highlander to Dragalge and offers Eve a smile.

Ven doesn't look like it's going to hold out for much longer, but there's not much that can be done now. Eve orders it to use Night Shade on the Dragalge while Ven also bring Dragalge's accuracy down by 2 with his Omen ability. Focused and Inspired.

And with that Ven goes down. Eve returns the ghost type Eon and sends out, as one would expect in a match she expected to end quickly, a dragon type. Hard to go faster than dragon v dragon!
Dia's Init - 36
Dia comes out ready and starts off with a Dragon Dance at Eve's orders. Agility and Inspired training... not like they matter.

Rydian cries out to her Dragalge. "Draco Meteor!" Rydian activates Seize the Moment (Free Action) as she issues Focused Orders (Standard Action) and Tags Dia (Swift Action).
Seize the Moment

Rydian praises her Dragalge for its efforts as she recalls it. "Don't feel too bad, Eve. I'm sure you'll get it eventually. If it makes you feel any better, at least I don't drag the fight on and on like Nalkeya does." She tries to flash Eve a quirky smile.
