The little grass type completely ignores the Powder move while dodging the net. It slashes at Butterfree with a blade of leaves.

Proszek only gets a small scratch from the sharp leaves, and flaps its wings again for more gusts of wind. Kaeda tries her hand at just trying to catch it this time.

The thing goes down before the ball can make a capture attempt. Apparently it couldn't take a second hit.

Kaeda doesnt waste any time with sending out Proszek, and throwing out her net. The butterfree zaps the wolf with a bright beam from its eyes.

Kaeda picked her new capture, tattered net, and continued towards Saffron. After getting to town she found the nearest shop, and sold her Sandstorm TM. After pocketing the money, she took look around the outskirts of Saffron for anymore pokes, before she took off again.
