Kaeda smiles happily, kisses her new partner on the forehead, puts her into her new pokeball, and starts down route 7. And like last time, she kept an eye out for anything that might catch her eye.

There seems to be several of the most common types of berries, with the occasional rarer one hidden among the pile. As you're digging around, something suddenly slams into you, knocking you away from the pile, and flat on your face.

Kaeda falls back, and pain shoots through her body as she still has lots of injuries. She glares at the tubby creature. "Hey! Who do think you are!?" She then tosses out her own rounded friend. "Get him, Io!" A pink ball pops out, and gives an angry, puffy cheek glare. "Jiggly!" It charges the snorlax with a big body slam. Kaeda, not feeling too good, tries to end it early with a quick catch.

The puff teeter back as well, and comes back with a slap across the face. Kaeda marks this muchlax for capture, and an idea pops into her head. She takes out her last piece of bait, and flings near the munchlax.

Kaeda snapped up her new pokemon, and continued down the path. She was starting to feel a bit tired, and Lavender wasn't too far away. As much as she loved getting new pokemon, one more should do for the rest of the day.

You still don't see anything. You've taken no more than a few steps before you get the short hairs on the back of your neck standing up. Spinning around, you think you spot something out of the corner of your eye, but when you look nothing is there.
