"More fire, Pyro Jack." Pyro Jack shakes off the hit, cries out, and lobs a fire ball at the miltank.

In too much pain to be moving around, Kaeda decided to lay some bait nearby to hopefully lure in some wild pokemon while she just rests.

Kaeda feels nothing but anger as the bait does absolutely nothing. So, after finally getting up, she is on the look out while walking back to town.

On your way back to town, you find the strangest thing. It looks kinda like a rock. One that is sort of cracked. Do you pick it up or ignore it?

Kaeda stares at the rock for a moment, and picks it up. "Huh....What a weirdly shaped rock...Guess it's man made, and...Heh. Looks like a frowny face." She continues to turn it around in her hands.

On the back, there appear to be lines on it. Kinda like someone was keeping count of something. Currently, there are 90 individual lines on it.

Kaeda runs her fingers along the lines. "What is with all the scratches? Who would do that?....Really wierd"

The strange thing is, there are no tool marks. It's almost like the scratches are all part of the rock. Spooky, innit?

Kaeda keeps walking with it as her back is starting to hurt. She continues to look over the rock for the time being. She pokes around the crack, hoping that maybe there is something inside.

Nothing seems to be inside. It's just a cracked rock with a weirdly specific number of markings on it.

Kaeda narrows her eyes at the rock. She shouldn't be interested in it, but she is. Maybe it's an antique. She shrugs, puts it into her bag, and continues back into town. She can get it checks out by someone who knows about antiques or rocks later.

Traveling down Route 5, Kaeda keeps an eye out for any new pokemon she could catch.

Kaeda encounters a light tan/brown Pokemon with a leaf atop its head. It looks like it's wearing a mask the way its skin/bark is lighter around its eyes in a particular pattern. It shakes its fist at you menacingly!

Kaeda catches sight of the little devil. "Feisty one aren't you? Ok then." She sends out her Butterfree. It cries out, darts around in the air, and flaps its wings quickly, picking up a small tornado.

Just as your butterfree goes to attack, the "little devil" rushes forward, leaping up in a flurry of leaves and smacking the flying bug.

This little guy was quick, and Proszek reels from the multiple hits. It flies around a bit more, and this time tries throwing away from sleep powder. Kaeda also takes this time to toss her weighted net to halt the nuzleaf from escaping.
