As Soleil walked around the room she glanced around for anything useful. Some more vials of the powder could be nice. Or information on it. Of course, finding something the others wanted to track would also be important so they could catch her. Either way, she wanted to make sure to find something really helpful to help show her usefulness after the uhhh...rock accident. She figured she might as well check Requiem's sleeping quarters. After all maybe there would be some cute outfits too!Perception: 15-17 depending on if this counts as Scintillia District or not

Silas makes sure that the door to the water-filled room is closed after everyone leaves, then his face twitches with frustration on seeing Requiem gone. Once again, he wasn't able to do anything, despite having her right in front of him. After he hear's Omega's response and sees the others search the house, Silas does the same. The others had proven their superior ability to find things in training, so Silas decides to looks for other psychic locks and other traces left by her abilities. Not sure which roll you'd want. The Porygon pops out from the databracer, seemingly happy at being free from having to be stealthy. "You are correct. As you do not seem to be compromised, there is no need for me to enact destruction protocols. And, for that, I am thankful. As for this area, it has been marked for purging, but you don't need to stay here. A more experienced team will be sent in to see what they can find. At this point, the higher ups have decided that you've done as good as an inexperienced team could be expected, and wish you to return to headquarters when you're able to, for a debriefing. If you attempted more, you might do more harm to the investigation than good." He pauses. "As for the override... it's not something that I can ordinarily do. Think of it as...like your adrenaline. I don't have control over my protocols, and I have some general directives to follow, but it enables me to have powers I wouldn't otherwise have at this authority level."Meanwhile, Lowe, having sniffed around, seems to be attempting to get your attention to the outside, as he paws at the ground. "Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-", her voice trails off, growing evermore quieter. Leslie'd plopped back onto the couch after vacating the water-tank-murder-dungeon-room, her arm laying up the back of it so Omega could vocalize and see easier.
Questioningly, speaking into the couch cushion, "sooooo it's noooot an immeeediate recalllll, riiiiiight? We don't haaaaave to ruuush back until we'rrrrrre readyyy. Goooooooooood." She audibly sighs with her face planted where butts normally go.
Espurr, quite proud of herself doing the open-doory-thing and not being in the wet place anymore, takes a comfy spot on Leslie's back. The cat then does what might be the most high-functioning action the group has seen her do. She uses Leslie's tangled hair to towel off some of the fishy water dampness. Then, as soon as a normal person would be impressed by such an idea, the psychi-tty resumes nomming on it. Considering the late Angel's apparent acumen, one might question if the trials and devices Technicians use to tame Pokemon doesn't have some adverse effect on their relative intelligence. Or maybe this one is just actually a derp.

Noting Lowe's excited state, Thoron says, "It would seem that Lowe found something notable. Since we weren't explicitly called back to Headquarters, perhaps a slight detour is in order? Unless, of course, we have no qualms about merely meeting expectations as an amateur team?" Of course, between the four of them, it was entirely possible that they were collectively too exhausted to press on yet again. And without a decisive numerical advantage, it would be foolish to pursue... 'More harm than good', indeed.

Silas looks over at where Lowe wants to go, but he gives no indication of planning to follow. As Thoron speaks, Silas leans against a wall in an attempt to relax. The day's work is certainly catching up to him, especially now that the mission is finished. Since Silas lacks tje desire to pile up acheivements, he voices his opinion on the matter. "No point in pursuing. She's probably gone by now, teleporting to places we can't follow. As tired as we are, there's no way we'll be able to chase her down and still be ready for a fight. I should probably deal with our wounds while we rest."
After saying this, Silas looks for a dry-ish area to place his Parasect and begins to pull out his medical equipment.

"She only has a few minute lead and if we can track we should probably at least try..." Soleil said. "I mean, it doesn't hurt to at least try and if we can't get somewhere go back."

"Well..." Omega says, with an air of thought, "I suppose, if you were, hypothetically, able to pick up a trail, and, depending on how far it goes, you were able to give a location to the Commander... I can't see him being irritated if all you did was get a little bit of information in exchange for being a tad later. You could always run back to make up time, or something... Just, be sure not to do anything that would lead to more engagements..." He pauses. "Technician Floros is correct in that regard. You are likely ill equipped to run into anything serious. But a... detour? Quite possible." He almost seems to be musing to himself at the end.

Mulling over the suggestions, Thoron says, "...I agree, Soleil, there is no inherent harm in at least seeing where Requiem has absconded.". After a moment of thought, he suggests, "Perhaps if we set off in pursuit and see where the trail takes us? Of course, breaking off and returning to base if it runs cold, or an altercation appeared imminent? At the very least, it may be helpful to report her last known location."

Leslie produces a series of sounds in response. They're quite muffled and muted, as she's projecting into a cushion. It is considerably likely that only Omega could understand her, and that's if the databracer mic is precise enough and his algorithms are scrutinous enough to parse her grumbles. After a moment of possible silence as everyone involved tries to add more skill points into Comprehend Languages: Leslie, the lazy lass rolls over onto the floor again. Not so surprisingly at this juncture, the Espurr comes along for the ride, settling on Leslie's face as the trainer stares up on at this ceiling from this floor for the second time this hour. The two stare into each other soundlessly before Leslie flips upward to a standing position as she did earlier which she honestly needs to just stop doing. Rising up from her knees, awkward cat clinging to her bangs with tiny kitten teeth, she yawns before turning towards the door. Trudging onward, a dull murmur in her voice can be interpreted as akin to consigning herself to more walking. ɒɰɨɪɤȯȣɬɩȣɷɫɨȣɰɬɦȣɤɱɧȣɫɬɶȣɄɌȣɦɤɱȣɳɤɵɶɨȣɨɩɩɨɦɷɬɹɨɯɼȯȣɦɤɱȣɫɨɤɵȣɤȣɧɬɶɭɲɬɱɷɨɧȣɶɷɵɬɱɪȣɲɩȣɺɲɵɧɶȣɦɲɰɳɯɤɬɱɬɱɪȣɤɥɲɸɷȣɮɱɲɺɬɱɪȣɺɫɨɱȣɤȣɭɲɥȣɬɶȣɧɲɱɨȱȐȿɥɵɁȐȿɥɵɁȐȿɥɵɁȿɩɲɱɷȣɦɲɯɲɵɀȥȦȼȼȳȳɩɩȥɁȥɌɷȪɶȣɧɲɲɲɲɱɨȱȣɑɲȣɰɲɵɨȱȣɗɫɨɼȣɶɤɬɧȣɶɲȱȣɖɷɲɲɲɲɲɳȱȣɚɫɤɷȣɧɬɧȣɌȣɧɲȣɷɲȣɧɨɶɨɵɹɨȣɷɫɬɬɬɬɬɬɶȱȥȐȿɥɵɁȥɉɬɬɬɬɬɬɬɬɬɱɨȱȥȿȲɩɲɱɷɁè

Disappointed that none of Requiem's outfits seemed to fit for some reason (as if the corsets and shirts were too big for some reason), Soleil looks back at Thoron and the bracer. "Well worst case, my Trapinch is fine so he can help us out if needed." Soleil said with a shrug.

Silas definitively does not sigh at his team's desire to continue. Doing something dumb while trying to prove yourself is exactly the sort of thing that could be expected from a new team, so this isn't going to accomplish much. Since they seem insistent on looking, Silas puts away his medical supplies.
While cleaning up, Silas tries to make sure that they'll stop eventually. He'd rather not follow Thoron and Soleil on a wild goose chase, especially since their target proved elusive during the fight. He rubs his forehead with his palm and replies, "Sure, but we stop looking if: we need to enter a building, we leave the district, or an hour passes. Less if we start heading the wrong way."

As you all head out, and follow the trail that Lowe's seemed to pick up, you certainly get more than a few askance glances. More than you had gotten when you were travelling with Angel, that's for sure. Although, the fact that Lowe's tracking might have something to do with it.
The trail does seem to, at least according to Omega, lead towards the center of Arcadia. And... in fact, the trail leads directly to the Shaft. Lowe, in following the trail, almost bumps into the (admittedly probably inadequate) railing that's keeping random people from falling down several thousand meters.
As you all look around, nothing stands out in particular... except that one man, who looks as if he's perusing the windows of one of the shops, keeps glancing over at you. Well, more than the normal glances that people normally give Pokémon.

As they follow the Pokemon, Soleil mostly ignores the people looking as she skips along behind. When they arrive at the shaft, Soleil walks over and peers down. It looked so...open. And far. She imagined the idea of flying up and down the shaft one day, before quickly pushing that thought out of her mind. It wasn't like she could just hop over and show up later without an explanation. She quickly dug around in her pouch for a moment as if looking for something. She frowned when she couldn't find what she was looking for and then sighed.
However, before she could ask the party she noticed the one guy and turned to look right at him and gave him a big smile and a wave. "HI!" She called out skipping towards the man.

"Hello." The man doesn't seem to be particularly enthusiastic. "You're looking for a woman who was just here a few minutes ago, right? Red hair, pale as porcelain, black clothes? Seems to be too much of a coincidence otherwise."

"Yep! She was really pretty too!" Soleil said with a nod. "Did you see where she went? I got separated from her earlier." Soleil explained. "OH! I'm Sol, by the way. What's your name?" She asked.

"I assumed as much." The man seems to suddenly go off on a bit of a tangent. "It's not often that things exceedingly out of the ordinary happen. So when they do, I take notice. If there's more than one, I assume they're connected. A lovely woman, running as if her life depended on it? That draws attention. Doubly so when she has tears streaming down her face. When she stopped, leaning on the rail, I thought about going over to her, see if I could offer comfort." He sighs. "I thought for too long." He gives a long pause. "I saw where she went. But it's not a place that you'll want to follow." He inclines his head, gesturing towards the railing, to the dark pit of the Shaft beyond. "I'm sorry, Sol."

Soleil frowned, "Uh huh..." She said raising an eyebrow. "I think it might be a different really cute, really nice redhead. I don't see why she would be crying or jumped off..." Soleil said glancing at the railing. "Assuming that's what you are implying." She thinks for a minute, "So...did I misunderstand or did you lie to me?" Soleil asked tilting her head and looking suspiciously.

In the hopes of not undermining Soleil's plan, Thoron refrains from speaking with the man. He was confident that Soleil would be able to pull some answer from him.
Since it was highly unlikely that Lowe could track Requiem... vertically, the Luxio had done its job. With a brief, "Good work, return," Thoron recalled his tracker.
As much as he wanted to confirm the story firsthand, they were encroaching on the limit Silas had assigned. "Perhaps it would be best to have Them send someone to investigate? A detour may have been acceptable, but a drawn-out exploration of the Shaft may be unnecessarily trying our luck." he offered to the others.

Silas doesn't believe that Requiem actually killed herself for a moment. She was probably faking her tears and had some sort of escape plan worked out. He walks up to the edge and peers over, looking for a sign of teleportation into a safe zone. While standing there, he replies to Thoron. "Yeah, that's for the best. Not much we can do from up here anyway."
