Silas's team retreats from the general area, leaving him right next to the giant snake monster. It would be a colossally terrible idea to show the thing his back, so he just takes a cautious step away from the beast. After doing so, he tosses a pester ball at the monster. With any luck, it will disorient the monster long enough for them to run away tactically re-position. It might seem strange that Silas is maintaining his cool with a monster in his face. He stared down a much scarier monster earlier, and this beast is trivial by comparison. That, and the snake isn't actually trying to eat him right now. Silas disengages to M7 Silas throws a Pester Ball: Confusion!

The Trapinch keeps starting to move toward Soleil before stopping. She seemed worried and was banging on a door. He looked back with his big head at the big water thing and lightly drooled. That was a giant piece of sushi if Trapinch ever saw one! Deciding that his owner was clearly running further on her long legs than he could on his stumpy legs, Trapinch decided it would have to give itself a treat. Maybe dropping more rocks would get her to notice? With that in mind, Trapinch frolliced over to the weird wall thingy and stood next to it before opening its mouth and once again revealing the powers of the Gates of Pebble-on only this time on that tasty giant all-nonTrapinch's-can-eat sushi buffet. Once again a massive pile of rocks rained from the glorious gates of the Trapinch's noble treasury. Trapinch shifts to H7 and targets M9 as the top left square of the blast. 3x3 so it hits M9-11, N9-11 O9-11 Critical Rock Slide, Sheer Force means no secondary effects. Physical rock damage, 73 before defenses and weaknesses

Angel seems to be thoroughly puzzled by what the staring duo of Leslie and Espurr were doing. But that doesn't stop him from backing up, arching, and then hissing at them, before launching a barrage of suddenly conjured stars at the duo, buffeting them. Meanwhile, the serpent advances through the spreading pool of water, slithering up next to Thoron and his Pokémon, before smashing around into both of them, following up with a nasty glare at Thoron as Lowe fades into energy and returns to his ball. If anything, it seems even more angry. Angel disengages, and uses Swift on Leslie and Espurr. Leslie takes 37 damage, and 2 injuries. Espurr takes 32 damage.
Gyarados uses Thrash. Gyarados becomes Enraged. Thoron takes 33 damage, and 2 injuries, as well as -2 Speed CS. Luxio takes 32 damage, an injury, and Faints.

When the door doesn't break Soleil starts getting more frantic. Gotta get out. Gotta have room to run. Bad room very small don't hurt me She quickly thinks starting to breath heavily as she tries to push the fear out. She needed to focus! Get door open! Get Requiem! Get out! Soleil took a deep breath and tried to push aside the thought of some monster hurting her or her teammates finding out her powers and torturing her in an enclosed room like this.
Her fingers hesitated for a moment at the image of being abused if powers noticed. She felt her arms and legs hurt from the memories of past pain. However, she quickly pushed it aside and again sent the wind directly into the door again. They won't see. They won't see. Get out. Help after. Shoot...no can't shoot...ummm I don't know. Help Requiem? Make Requiem stop it? I don't know just get out. I don't want to be trapped. She thought quickly.
When the wind again failed she tried not to cry. "Please...please let me out...I'm sorry for I don't know but whatever..." She pleaded at the door banging on it more while shaking. "Just let me out, dadd---Requiem! I helped! I was good!"

While Thoron would have liked nothing more than to issue a witty retort at the glaring serpent, he was currently too busy panicking trying to figure out a method to put down said monster. With Lowe having fainted, it would be exceedingly difficult to incapacitate the creature. Why had he not requested a Revive or several for the mission- and hadn't Silas? He hoped so, at least, and it wasn't like there were any other options available... Backing up carefully, he tries to spot Silas through the thrashing Gyarados, then calls out, " Silas! Revive him?", throwing the Luxio's Pokeball afterwards. As for what to do next, he was at a loss. Perhaps screen as best he could (by his estimate, for seconds at most) and trust Silas to seize this one, too? That sounded... non-ideal. Thoron disengages to I11 and throws Lowe's Pokeball to Silas. Or tries to, as the case may be. AC? - 5 Thoron (accidentally) uses Struggle! AC4 - 4 DB4 - 19 Physical Normal damage

When Thoron yells to Silas, he turns to face his teammate to catch the oncoming Pokeball. Unfortunately, it was coming in faster than expected, and Silas gets a Pokeball to the face for his trouble. He manages to catch the thing before it falls into the water, then gets further away from the fish monster. He had been planning to use the revive on his own Pokemon, but Thoron's idea was good. The beast was probably water-based, so reviving Thoron's electric Pokemon would work better. Silas pulls out his revive and shoves it in the Pokeball, giving it a little time to work. Silas takes 9 damage from the Pokeball. Silas shifts to I6 and uses a Revive on Lowe.

The Trapinch is surprised that the sushi morsel was still flailing around after it used the sacred Gates of Pebble-on. The Trapinch growled, this filthy pebble wasn't worth using any more of the sacred pebbles. It was time to teach this overgrown sushi bar what it meant to face the King of Rocks. Trapinch charges the Gyarados, its little stubby legs splashing into the water. It would be good to have something to wash down the sushi once it had been devoured. Once it got up close, Trapinch jumped as high as it could and bite the Gyarodos in the face uhhh...much lower than face area. Look, Trapinch can't jump very high, but surely it gets an A for effort? Let's pretend it was the face. As the King of Rocks nommed on the sushi bar it couldn't help but be annoyed by the filthy pebbles stupid size. To think that some filthy pebble thought it could stare down at the King of Rocks? Feint Attack, damage was 38 dark physical
Edit: Oh right shifted J9, gotta remember to say that not just think it

Espurr's bap seems to annoy Angel, but then it backs up, and calms down, before glancing at the Gyarados, jewel glowing. A slight change seems to come over the gyarados, as it appears to refocus. With a tremendous leap, the serpent completely clears the psychic barrier... but then it smacks into the ceiling, landing (ungracefully) in front of Espurr, snarling, and rebalancing. If a cat could have a smug look on its face, (well, beyond normal,) Angel would almost seem to have one right now. Espeon Disengages, then uses Calm Mind. Gyarados uses Bounce on Espurr. Boiiiii- *smack*. Whoops. Natural 1. (Trapinch and Silas may AoO, if they wish, as well.)

Soelil starts to panic as she feels the movement on the otherside of the door. She quickly bangs louder. "NO! Please its me! What about me? What about Angel?!" Soleil asks quickly pounding as hard as she can. She moves along the door beating the other side hoping somehow beating different spots would cause the nice lady to hear. She tries to use her wind sense to 'feel' as hard as she can guiding the breeze all over Requiem unnaturally hoping the weird wind would attract her attention. However, she then heads a loud slamming sound behind her and screams as she jumps and turns around. Seeing the huge creature so close, Soleil's face turns a pale white. "No, please, I'm sorry for whatever, don't hurt me, I didn't do anything! I didn't mean anything!" She stammers barely having a chance to breath. The huge serpent being so close, her back trapped to a door, and no way to open it or escape Soleil felt her knees starting to tremble. Her hands reached for her belt trying to find anything to fight back and she quickly grabbed one of the empty pokeballs as she pressed back against the wall as close as she could. She slide back against the door so she was sitting pressed as close to it as possible as if trying to be as small a visible target as possible. Maybe it wouldn't see her? Maybe she would be fine? Maybe the pokeball would work? She quickly threw it desperately before putting hands up as if to protect her face. A part of her body screamed to fight back and defend herself. It had worked against her father! But at the same time fear of everyone in the room, the sudden surprise, and the size pushed that instinct down for now. If she had to she could fight back, but she really hoped it didn't come to that. Hopefully her desperate throw would end this nightmare. Shift to A11 Throw pokeball at Gyarados, spend AP Result, 17 to hit. Capture roll 11

For the first time, Silas notices Soleil's frantic behavior. Some of it could be attributed to Requiem's influence, but that's probably not the whole story. That and Requeim's likely escape may become problems later, but right now he needs to focus. With the massive beast down, there is only one foe remaining. However, he can't afford to underestimate the creature, as it was the psychic's personal companion. Silas moves closer to the cat-like Pokemon, then throws Lowe's Pokeball behind the beast. Silas moves to F8.
Lowe released at E13.

Lowe, recently recently revived and released by Silas, found itself deposited right in front of Angel, of all Pokemon. It had wanted to fry the enormous fish, but apparently that hadn't gone too well. Whatever the case, there was a new enemy to fight! Since he didn't have a charge built up, a simpler Bite would have to suffice against this "Angel" character. Thoron uses Dazzling Dervish and Focused Training on Lowe.
Lowe uses Bite on Espeon. AC2 - 21!, flinch on 15+ DB6(+Crit) - 42 Physical Dark damage

Concerned. Leslie actually feels a minute amount of concern. Angel keeps doing a thingy that looks zen-esque and comes out all the better for it. All too bothersome as well. Entirely too bothersome. "Do... stuffs. Do the stuffs. Your stuffs."
Espurr responds by repeating her kitten baps. Secretly, she wonders what Angel's tails taste like. Muttering about carrying things around on a strap from now on, Leslie pulls out a capture ball instead of a concussive packet. She lobs it at Angel, yet misses. -Leslie Swift Action (Priority Limited) applies Brutal Orders on Espurr.
-Espurr Shift Action moves to C11. -Standard Action uses Covet on Angel. AC 2, Accuracy Roll 4 vs Flanked Target. Espurr has Keen Eye. 17 Normal Physical Melee Damage.
-Leslie Standard Action throws a Great Ball. AC 6 Status, Accuracy Check 6. Miss.

The smug look on Angel's face falls, as the Gyarados disappears, sucked inside the comparatively small containment device. As he gets batted by the fellow purple cat-creature, and bitten by Luxio, Angel visibly gets more frantic and distressed, as well as more and more tired. As the sandy attack comes from Trapinch, it visibly begins glowing, slowly beginning to dissipate beneath the abrasive particles. As this happens, though, it actually stops, and seems to become calm, before finally fading away in a burst of white light. With that, the only noises left in the room are those of the still emptying fish tank, as the water continues to spill out. Thankfully, it seems that even if it all comes out, your heads shouldn't be underwater... probably. It might be best to get out, though, before you have to test that theory. Plus, higher water levels might make opening the door harder... Angel faints from Sand Tomb.
You are victorious! Experience will be handed out at the end of the adventure, because PTU's formula is stupid.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, byeeee Angel." She actually looks sad, who knew. She recovers quick though, looking down at Espurr. "Soooo, I think Angel closed the door, yyyyye? Soleil's been pounding on it, maybe you tryyyyy."Espurr tilts her head and waddles to the steel door. She gets close. Really really close. Really really really close. And no, actually, Espurr is just licking the door it looks like. Great. Blem-blem-blem-blem-blem-blem-blem-blem.....Wait, no! There's some glowing, maybe? Definitely something psychic. Espurr performs a Push Maneuver via Telekinetic on the door. 14 Accuracy check. 18 Focus vs Door's Combat or Athletics.

Thoron wasn't sure what to make of the flurry that was the last few seconds. It seemed as though, after the Gyarados had escaped him and Silas, Soleil had been... startled, and reflexively caught the Pokemon. Then, in a pleasant display of teamwork, Angel had been swiftly dispatched. Unfortunate that Kincaid had been unable to capture that one as well, but it had still been dealt with. Requiem would have to deal with the consequences of crossing them, was all that meant. Wading through the water, Thoron goes to collect the Pokeballs, starting with the ball housing the turquoise one closer to the tank. Since they had stopped distribution in Scintilla, securing such good specimens would be a nice bonus supporting their teamwork. He figured they would need every bonus they could muster, at this point... Once the occupied Pokeballs were secured, hopefully the issues surrounding the door would have been solved. Banging on it hadn't appeared effective, and the only one who had been shown to operate the door had recently decomposed... If the others couldn't open it, perhaps Lowe would be able to tamper with it electronically? It seemed far-fetched, and more risky than he wanted to be, if the cost of failure was being trapped down here when the door broke. Meant to post with the last bit of action that Thoron was spending a Swift and AP this turn to record Gyarados. If that's fine, yay! If not... ah, well. That's what we get for being too effective.
Unless the water level will pose a problem, Thoron is also going to Take a Breather after securing the first Pokeball.

The King of Rocks had not been thrilled when the filthy sushi pebble had dared to flee (though he wasn't surprised, Trapinch was after all big and terrifying). It had been even more annoying seeing the creature jump so high! The Great Gilgamunch had more legs and yet for some pebble to jump that high was an insult to his greatness. He quickly bite the cowardly sushi bar on the tail as it ran away hoping to grab hold and keep it in place. Alas, his attempts to hold the Gyarados were unsuccessful because...uhhh he didn't want to hold a filthy pebble that long so it was just a quick bite!
As he started running on his gloriously stubby legs (not weird and long and lanky like those lowly humans), the King of Rocks was shocked to see his future meal suddenly vanish into a tiny ball thrown by his servant? How could his servant have wasted such a valuable device on such a lowly pebble? When everyone turned toward the pink cat thing, Gilgamesh decided that clearly his scared distracted owner hadn't realized his greatness. Well then, he would have to finish off the pathetic pink pebble before anyone could foolishly waste a pokeball on such ilk.
As his legs splashed in the water, Gilgamesh finally got close enough to the Espeon and roared causing a sandy tornado to envelope and erode the little pebble. As the tornado slapped it the lowly pebble eroded until there was nothing left. Ahhhh the natural order! With a successful elimination of the lowly pokemon, Trapinch skipped over to check on his servant and poked her with his head. He deserved quite the delicious meal for his destruction and of course to be carried like the great King he was.
=============== When the Gyarados capture attempt was successful, Soleil had started to calm down. The multiple attacks still being thrown around her were still discomforting, but at least it wasn't a giant beast. As Angel faded away, Soleil finally snapped out of her panic as confusion filled her. Had Requiem's poor pet been killed? She felt a light nudge at her waist and looked down to see her Pokemon. Then, seeing everyone near by, she quickly climbed to her feet, leaning against the door to help support her weak knees at the moment. She pushed her forced smile up, trying to act like she was fine and nothing had happened, "We did it!" She said with a clap. "So, if we get this door open maybe we can catch up to Mistress Requiem and question her!" A moment later she felt an annoyed nibble at her boot and looked down to see Trapinch still trying to get her attention. She quickly scooped him up into his "plushie" pose and gripped him tightly.

Silas smiles and lets out a sigh of relief as Angel goes down. With the psychic abilities of Leslie's Pokemon, getting out of the room should be a trivial matter. All foes were defeated or escaped without casualties, so this mission should count as a solid success. "Yeah, let's head out. I doubt any of us want to get soaked." He looks at each of his teammates in turn, looking for any remaining signs of psychic tampering. It'd be nice to know if whatever was done to Soleil (and possibly Leslie) was still active or just leftover traces remain. Don't know if the roll is needed, so here it is: Occult ed: Is that manipulation still active? 3d6 = 7

It takes a few minutes, and what seems like a few false starts, but eventually the Espurr manages to figure out exactly what it was supposed to do... more or less. Briefly, after a promising click, it seems to stare at the door... before it remembers that the slab is supposed to open inwards. It does so, and a rush of water begins to leave the area as an empty room is revealed. There's no signs that anyone's currently in the habitation. Good thing, or they might be irritated that their property value is probably going to plummet from water damage. ơnjŸƹDŽDžLJNjnjŸƾƽƽDŽNjŸƹNjŸǁƾŸǑLJǍNJŸǀƽƹƼſNjŸƾƽƽDŽǁdžƿŸƹŸDŽǁnjnjDŽƽŸDŽǁƿǀnjƽNJƄŸƹdžƼŸǑLJǍŸdžLJŸDŽLJdžƿƽNJŸƾƽƽDŽŸDŽǁǃƽŸǁnjŸDžǁƿǀnjŸƺƽŸƹŸƿLJLJƼŸǁƼƽƹŸnjLJŸǀƽDŽLjŸƪƽljǍǁƽDžƆØ ƉƝƚƧƚŜƨŕƨƩƞơơŕƨƤƢƚŕƧƚƨƞƙƪƚšŕƗƪƩŕƞƩŜƨŕƘƚƧƩƖƞƣơƮŕƣƤƩŕƖƨŕƗƧƞƜƝƩŕƖƨŕƞƩŕƬƖƨŕƟƪƨƩŕƖŕơƞƩƩơƚŕƗƞƩŕƖƜƤţØ

While it would have been ridiculous to expect Requiem to wait for them all to emerge triumphant from the basement, it was still disappointing that the Scintilla Dealer had escaped. Granted, they might be able to track her down, if they could find any suitable items that she used... A brief search was in order, in that case. There were more pressing matters first, though. Namely to do with the Technicians. Thoron asks, " Omega, I take it we no longer have an imminent explosive threat on our hands? Is this area still marked for purging, and if so, is it expected that we either remain here or vacate the purge zone? Lastly, why were we not informed that you had a manual override for your mute feature?" After having voiced his complaints, he and Lowe would search for anything that the latter could use to track Requiem. If they found something suitable, then they could decide as a team whether to pursue. Given that they had accomplished the mission as stated, detaining her would simply be a bonus... albeit a welcome one. After the abilities she had showcased (against them), it would be irresponsible to leave someone like her free to run amok. Perception, to find something to track Requiem with: 18
