They don't seem to be saying anything particularly interesting. Just normal chit-chat. Eventually, Kalani drags Leon forward to present him to the person in charge of the Messenger Pidgey, informing them that Leon wishes to send a message to a friend down in Saffron. The cost is pretty small. Just a single Crown for a single message.
Payment issued and letter written, it isn't long before the Pidgey is sent off to the Guild's Messenger Corps. From there, they will sort it and ensure it is delivered to the correct individual.

Leon nodded taking a piece of paper writing out a letter to Rei, Hello Rei,
This is Leon, currently, Brooke, Yue, and myself are in Cerulean trying to deal with a problem of pokemon attacks that we've been able to link to Poachers. We weren't able to find you before we left so we set off, but I believe it would be helpful and safer to have you along.
If you'd like to join us, please send a message back we'll try to meet up on the path in between in the two cities to follow up on a lead we've found here.

"Then I'll need to go find them, thank you for all your help Ms.Kalani. We'll try our hardest to solve this problem, you have a fine day," Leon said smiling giving the young woman a small bow as he headed outside. Outside he took a moment to think of where they might of went, and only could come with out of town if they weren't at the inn, so went to the healers to see if he could find them there or at least catch their trail.

As it turns out, Yue and Brooke are just on their way out of the Healer's Hut. Seems that Yue may have gotten herself into a sticky situation. Again.

Leon smiled seeing the little ball of energy calling him over as he waved making his way toward the two girls. When Brooke sighed in relief his smile became one of sympathy as he figured that some sort of misadventure happened in his absence.
To Brooke's question, he gave a nod "Yes, I was talking with the innkeeper's wife and she said that if we asked around about the poachers eventually one would approach to try and dissuade us from asking about them," he said explaining how the group had a way to get their hands on one of the poachers.

"Huh." Brooke considers this. "Not real subtle of 'em. I was going to head out on Sharp an' take a look at the woods around here, see if I could find any sign of camps, but if they're that predictable... You and Yue wander around and try to attract their attention, then I'll tail them when they leave?"

Brooke swears under her breath. "Lordy, that girl is gonna be the death of me someday. You stick close to her, I'll be watching in case you need backup." Hiding inside a town isn't much like stalking in the woods, but luckily Brooke blends in with the locals a lot more than she would in Celadon or Saffron. And if nothing else, Yue's antics are good for drawing attention away from her. Do I need to roll Stealth for this? I'm doing it anyway and you can't stop me!

Leon stuck close to Yue, making sure she didn't get lost in the city or lost off into a tangent while they were talking to townspeople. Figuring that if he let Yue talk to her heart's content with someone, they'd be interviewing them all day. While this was going on he kept an eye out for anyone who might not be reacting well to them asking around.

Strangely enough, aside from some side glances concerning Yue's volume and general hyper-activeness, nobody really pays the group much mind. There is nobody obviously glaring at them from a shady alley, or approaching them openly under the guise of 'warning them off'. Just a bunch of normal folks going about their normal, everyday business. Mayhaps the mysterious person they're looking for isn't around today? It isn't like they have this person's schedule or anything.

After a good amount of asking around Leon was a little disappointed with the result, he'd seen no sign of the person he was warned about "I don't think this is working. I wonder if they're being scared off by something," he said to Yue as Leanne helpfully pointed out, while Yue looked like a normal little girl he was a 6-foot tall young man, who while she knew he wasn't actually that scary, he might be putting the poacher from approaching. Leon agreed that was a likely possibility and looked around for a place they could shift in private.

No sooner has Leon stepped out of sight to shift into Leanne when a strange man approaches Yue. He explains to her that she shouldn't go looking for trouble, no matter how many friends she has. It's dangerous out in those woods, especially at night, because of aggressive Pokemon. Not to mention whatever else may be out there. This guy doesn't look super imposing or dangerous himself; if anything, he looks perfectly average and forgettable.

"Poachers are trouble, little lady." He stresses. "Think about it for just a minute, if you will. If they've gone undetected until just recently, which I assume based on your presence here, then they gotta be really strong, right? Or really well hidden. Maybe even both! I'm just trying to help make sure nobody gets hurt. It's my duty as a concerned citizen, after all." If he were talking to anyone but Yue, these would all likely be excellent points. As it is Yue...

Yue's eyes light up. "Really?! We're also here to make sure no else gets hurt! I'm so glad to hear that you'll be helping us apprehend them!" Yue says, grabbing his arm and beginning to drag him forward! "Brooke! Leon! We've got a volunteer to help us!" She calls ut at the top of her voice.

The man easily slips out of Yue's vice-like grip. "Now, now, little lady. I'm not a fighter. Just a regular-old person." He chuckles. "I would only slow you and your friends down. I'm just trying to caution you against trying to seek out these poachers. If you really want help, just pass along what I told you to your friends. About how dangerous these people could be."
