Kaeda looks around at the eyes, and goes back to her knees. She then pats the ground, and her knees to call the chikorita over. "Come here quickly, sweetie. Hurry before you get hurt."

Eve simply sighs and waits for Kaeda to make a decision. Hey, maybe this Chikorita actually was trying to get them to safety... Eve wasn't sure about that, though... Being indecisive, the plain girl waited for Kaeda to make a decision.

Kaeda very slowly crawls on her hands, and knees towards the Chikorita. This is probably one of her worse ideas, but if she can get a hand on it before real trouble starts.

"Ohhh yooouuu!" Kaeda growls as the thing is playing around in this situation. Perhaps some help is needed. Kaeda brings out Orpheus, and signals to her to grab the Chikorita. Orpheus uses her telekinetic capability to pull the Chikorita closer.

The cheeky grass type is lifted easily into the air. It flails about in a panic and lashes out at Orpheus, who it rightly sees as the culprit behind this devious trickery!

The stars go right on through the eyes, but they do become visible in the light. It's Duskull and Dusclops! Uh oh, Eve has made them angry by attacking them! And there's a lot of them! Like.. at least 10! Each!

This was bad. This oohhh so bad! Kaeda doesn't think twice as she collects her pokes, and is whisked away by Eve. Kaeda is a bit faster, she takes Eve's hand instead, and overtakes her. Please don't let her trip! Kaeda would drag her if she had to!

Thankfully neither of the girls trip, with Eve's glowing personality lighting the way, Kaeda easily spots roots that might trip them up and together they make it safely back to the ranch without looking back. Seems at some point the ghosts gave up the chase, as nothing comes charging out of the woods after them. Shortly after arriving safely back on the Ranch, Orpheus pops out to tell Kaeda that she could have teleported them both out of danger easily had they just called upon her.
