Lyzare has paused upon recognizing the tree as a pokemon, and was glad when Hobart had come up beside him. "Admittedly not something I was hoping to take on alone," he murmured. "Some sort of family, perhaps? All the other wild creatures seem to be avoiding this area."He turned around. "Alyx and... Abigail, was it? I think this may be our first challenge to overcome as a group. Are the two of you up to a more difficult fight?" He smiled and Beau hooted appreciatively. If we're starting combat,
14 - Lyzare 5 - Beau

"I'm always up for a chalange, and this certinly seems like an intersting... specimen." Abigail replies. She looks around the group, "We are all here now yes?" As they prepare to fight this hulking 'mon abigail tries to figure out at least what types it is. Poke edu roll: 8sOj_OXQ3d6

"Well, Alyx iz shtill beck dere fightink those tiny plant tings." Hobart said as he absentmindedly rubbed his metal chin. He released his Grimer companion once more, glancing down as it excitedly gesticulated. "Fritz und Hy are ready ven hyu are though."
Well, Alyx is still back there fighting those tiny plant things.
Fritz and I are ready when you are though.

"Gimme a minute, I'm about done. Finish it Stitches." Alyx barked over her shoulder, then at her Pokemon. She didn't have to -capture- the Pokemon to gain benefit out of them. Battered and beaten they'd do juuuust fine. She couldn't help but wonder what the others were calling her for, but it had been of secondary consequence. She was at least enjoying herself again.

The oddish around Stitches squeal at the hit, the frail pokemon falling over limp. Those around the large pokemon notice that it doesn't seem to be paying much attention to them, and is slowly making its way away. Four pokemon seem to detach themselves from it and stay behind as it casually strolls away. Abigail recognizes the pokemon... though they don't actually look like the pokemon she thinks they are. On further inspection, the "bark" around them seems to appear even sturdier than expected.
These pokemon appear to be Snover, but... something doesn't seem normal with them. There is more foliage around them that resembles tumbleweeds, with no white snow cap.

"Interesting... well whatever these snover have become, they should still burn. Ralts! Will-o-wisp one of them them!"
The tiny pokemon begins to chant, and a similarly sized ring of fire appears around it. This fire goes sailing at the nearest enemy. Ac of 5: VNmsOyun1d20

Hobart watched as the larger creature ambled off. "Well Hy guess dot's dot den. The adult doz not seem overly hoshtile, maybe anodder defense uf deirs deters de odders? Or dere's someting else in de vicinity dot iz causink dem to avoid diz location." He perked up when Abigail spoke up about the specimens that had been left behind. "Ho! A motant hyu say? Dot's quite intereshtink Hy vonder vot adaptations it has developed. Hy bet a ve could outdo nature vit a few modifications. Fritz, show it you Shadow Ball if hyu please."Firing Shadow Ball at the next closest Snover, Fritz's speed is 1 so I assume he's going last if we're on initiative now.

Well I guess that's that then. The adult does not seem overly hostile, maybe another defense of theirs deters the others? Or there's something else in the vicinity that is causing them to avoid this location.
Ho! A mutant you say? That's quite interesting I wonder what adaptations it has developed. I bet a we could outdo nature with a few modifications. Fritz, show it your Shadow Ball if you please. 1d20·2d8+10+21

Alyx finally turns towards the others and quirks a brow, Stitches falling into step beside her. The little grass types haphazardly strewn about of no more concern to her then the ground they were leaking sap onto. Maybe she'd take them home and play with them somemore later. For now, she watched and waited to see how the others handle themselves. (Holding off till initiatives are declared.)

Lyzare's confidence boosts as the larger pokemon turns away--he'd no interest in taking on a challenge bigger than they could chew without first knowing his teammates' battle prowess. Now, however, it was time to show off his own. "Beau? Come on then-- Razor Leaf." He nodded towards one of the targets the others hadn't yet gone for. Lyzare on 18 (14+4), Beau on 5.
Lyzare bound the Trick Shot stratagem to Beau as a Standard Action.
Beau used Fierce Feathers (Ability) as a Swift Action, using Hone Claws. Beau moved into range to hit at least one, if not more, with the Cone 2 of Razor Leaf. Beau crit on Razor Leaf (ACR 22) as a Standard Action, for a total of 65 physical grass damage.

"Move in Stitches, We'll show'em somemore of what we did to their prissy little radish friends." (Brutal Orders on Stitches.) Alyx holds back, letting her Pokemon wade into the front lines with a knowing smirk on her face. She was proud of Stitches, always had been, but seeing him spattered in bits of Oddish and wading into another combat just warmed her heart. She'd made him strong, just like Daddy had made her strong.
(Stitches is wading amidst the Snover with aggressive posturing, and triggering Bide/Triggering Bide when struck.)

Ralts jumps off of abigail, in front of the burned pokemon. He opens his mouth and a lets out a sound that should not come out of a pokemon of that size. Disarming voice can not miss.
