Chell, even as she's hit by the attack, still manages to observe how the giant did it. Spending 1 AP to use Chronicler to make a Record of Earthquake

Well then. The big brute didn't look like it had any area attacks... But apparently it was strong enough to improvise. And his usual tactic of making himself scarce when outclassed wouldn't work on that mysterious voice. Probably. Still, this body continued to disappoint! An attack that did so much damage... Hopefully it was more of a testament to this guardian's strength. Anyways, with it packing such strength and running not an option, it was time to attack its weak point! only reachable point... Ryota hisses as the shockwave vibrates through him, sending him bouncing along the ground for a while as his head gets pummelled. Finally, he comes to a stop, his head still spinning. "Ugh...did anyone get the number of that van...?" he mutters. He shakes his head, trying to focus. "Ugh...take this!" He gathers water around himself and rams forward again.

The rumbling ground sends Midna flying. Being closer to the ground didn't do much in that regard. She vaguely has a sense that getting tossed around would be a whole lot more common if her recent experiences were anything to go by. The thought diminishes as she begins to wonder why she hasn't quite hit the ground yet. Her eyes crack open as she hovers scant inches above the ground. "Oooh yes."Now everything was slightly more right with the world and Midna could stand, or rather float, more comfortably. Her grin isn't marred by the pain she feels in her tiny legs. The giant still looked big of course, but she could let something so trivial bog her down. "You'll have to do better than that titan!" The retort is met with another surge of warping energy. Cube, floating fairly high in the air, luckily avoids all of the ground-shaking stuff, though he looks concerned at Chell. Still, he remains focused, and fires off another blast of fire. Cube uses Ember! AC2:5Ra9q9DB1d20, burns on a 18+ DB6:2d6+19 Special Fire Type Damage 1d20·2d6+19

The mini quake didn't do much more than kick up dirt on Freya, who landed just long enough to dust it off. She flew to light on the behemoth Machoke's head, the better to stare directly into his eyes. "There doesn't appear to be a mind worth saving here." she said, as much to herself as anyone present, right before letting less another blast of wind right into his face. Freya shifts towards the Machoke and attacks with his Guster Struggle once again.

Ghost tried to get out of the way, but the thing... it just lunged at her too quickly!! Her eyes went wide as it chomped down on her, teeth nearly crashing down on her lightning rod-like form with a thunderous snap. A scream escaped Ghost's mouth, an electric undertone coursing through her voice as she discharged a large jolt of electricity at him as she pulled free. " AAAARGH!!!" As she let it loose, she tried to make a tactical withdrawal away from the creature. Thunder Shock, AC 2 VS Machoke (paralyzes on 17+) oo2_xL2b1d20 Electric/Special 2d6+23 1d20·2d6+23

The last barrage of attacks are too much for the beast, and it falls to a knee. It roars, and flares up like a firework in the exact same way the axe-wielder did for Ghost/Norris/Ryota. Of course since it's a giant, the light is BLINDING. When it finally fades, the big man is no more. A ball, similar to the one Norris has, falls from where the beast was and hits the floor.

Norris attempts to pounce the rock the moment it hits the floor and cram it into her mouth.

The surroundings are still the same, a blasted plains in front of the mountain, nothings really different now or sticks out.
However, when Norris tries to go toward the rock, it glows, and moves away as if you put two same sides of magnets next to each other. No matter how close Norris gets, it scoots away!

Norris reels back and, not about to be outdone, charges the rock with a mighty headbutt.

It continues to skitter away, always at least 3 feet from Norris. What is wrong with this rock and why doesn't it like her?

Frank steps forward and picks up the other stone, examining it closely. "Hold on...got it! It seemed to be getting away from you. Let's see what we have here..."

As Frank picks up the ball, the rune on it glows, and a similar glow appears on the back of his clawed hand. He feels something... inside the ball. Power just asking to be released.

Picking an unoccupied patch of land nearby, Frank casts his hand forward, still gripping the ball tightly, as though he were trying to shake salt out of a giant shaker. Should that fail, Frank slings his hand forward once more, flinging the ball at the spot of dirt, face twisting in concern, as though he is concerned he's carrying a live grenade set to explode.
