Kalani smiles softly. It's clear it's just as big a deal for her as for him. "You're very handsome too, Clay." She makes a 'come hither' motion and embraces him once he's in range, kissing him passionately again, guiding his hands up to her bared breasts and teaching him just how to hold them and touch them to provide her with pleasure.

Clay will rely on her guidance as he learns what to do - after all, this is his first time even coming close to this. Hopefully he'll be a good student.
He hopes Fan and the rest of his team won't mind having the guest room to themselves; this looks like it's going to be a busy night.

Kalani and Clay work together to find what feels best for them both and have a very enjoyable night, falling asleep in one another's arms when they have finished. The following morning, Clay awakens to find Kalani still happily snuggled up to him.

Unsurprisingly, Clay sleeps a lot longer than he usually does the next morning. And when he does wake up, well... he thinks he'll just snuggle up in Kalani's arms for a while longer.
Eventually he gives her a gentle kiss. "Hey, Kalani? We should probably get up eventually." If for no other reason than that his Pokémon will probably only tolerate so much delay breakfast-wise.

Kalani's eyes flutter open after the kiss and she smiles at Clay. She groans slightly as she stretches. "Last night was wonderful, Clay. I'm glad we did it." She kisses him again. "I wish we could just stay like this all day, but I suppose that I do have to get up and be the Mayor again eventually."

"Yeah, and I gotta go train. But last night was... amazing." He feels like he could take on the world today. Or, if not the world... there is somebody around here he owes a rematch.
He gives her one last kiss before wriggling out of bed and going to collect his clothes. He does feel just slightly awkward despite his elation... He's just mated for the first time, after all. It's a complicated emotion, and he's not completely sure where to go from here, especially since he still has this prophecy and he knows there's a risk he might not survive fighting D'mara even if they win.

Kalani hums happily as she sets about getting ready for her day and making breakfast for everyone. If nothing else, Clay can be proud of the fact he's made her so happy.

Making her happy is good. Good enough that he isn't even embarrassed when he walks back into the guest room and Fan wrinkles her nose and snickers. "Oh, shut up, sis. This is seriously none of your business."
"As long as she makes you happy, brother."
"... Yeah. She does." Clay picks Peng out and calls him over. He knows Brenda will recognize him and vice-versa... not to mention that he's still Clay's only Pokémon that can fly, anyway. "Hey, buddy, got a job for you. You know the really big mountain west of town? The crazy girl with the bird mask we fought a while back said she'd be waiting at the top. If you can make it up there and she's still there, let her know I'm up for that rematch, okay?"
"Never flew to the top of a mountain before, but I'll give it a shot! Uh... after breakfast."
"Well, yeah. Not gonna ask you to make a big flight on an empty stomach! I'll probably be out in the woods when you get back, so come and find me there, okay?" He turns his attention to Tavi. "You up for a rematch with Hammer Girl? Let's show her how much you've improved."
Tavi, now a Samurott, dips his helmeted head - not quite hiding the gleam in his eyes. "F'rsooth! alloweth us showeth h'r a real square!"
"Uh, sure." He'll pick out the rest of his team - Fan, of course, and Sandy, Flower, and Baloo. Of all people, he knows better than to go easy on Brenda. After a moment's thought, he doesn't bring anyone else - he knows Peng will be as eager for a rematch as anyone, and made a good showing against Brenda's team last time. Kaa would be his other choice, but despite Kaa's broad-area moves proving useful last time he tends to favor a more defensive strategy, and that's proven to be a mistake against Brenda in the past.
With his team settled, Clay will head down to await breakfast. "Hey, Kalani? I'm gonna try and go square off with somebody today I owe a rematch to. She's a tough opponent, so, uh, I might look pretty beat-up when I come home. Try not to be too worried, okay?"

Kalani looks over at him. "Well, try not to get too beat up, okay? I don't need you coming home with more bruises than regular skin." She offers jokingly.

"I'll do my best! I've improved a lot since the last time." Hopefully enough to make the difference - as far as he remembers his last battle with Brenda was a little closer than he'd have liked it to be. "I think I've got a better shot this time. Especially knowing who I'm coming back to afterwards."
He sneaks over and gives her a peck on the cheek to emphasize his point.

Kalani serves everyone breakfast, then heads out to do...whatever it is Mayors do. Clay isn't quite sure. Peng, meanwhile, begins his flight up the mountain. With his literal bird's eye view, he easily spies the Blaziken tribe's area about 3/4 of the way up the mountain. Now, picking out a human dressed as a Blaziken among a bunch of actual Blaziken is a tougher job. Finally he decides to just drop on in to talk, figuring that asking about their human member directly is likely to get better results than searching from the sky. By now, of course, his circling has been noticed, so they're waiting for Peng when he drifts down. They're naturally rather surprised that a Farfetch'd is all the way up here on the mountain when they usually hang out in the wetlands farming their leeks. Peng quickly explains his purpose and learns that Brenda is more than ready to take on and kick the tail of 'Monkey Boy' again.
Peng rests up for a bit, then glides on early morning thermals back down to Cerulean to relay the message to Clay.

Meanwhile Clay gets started on training for the day at last. There may not necessarily be a whole lot more he can do to super-boost his team's power, but he can get everybody loosened and warmed up for the big fight. He'll also, of course, let Instructor Mason know what he's planning. He's sure Brenda wouldn't just leave him in the snow if he lost - she's a jerk, but she didn't strike him as especially cruel the last time they fought - but it's probably a good idea to make sure Instructor Mason knows where he is just in case something does go wrong.
He'll delay a little once Peng returns with the news that Brenda's ready and waiting, just so Peng can get in a little more training, too. Then it's time to set off up the mountain, relying on Peng's memory to guide him toward the Blaziken tribe's (flock's?) territory.

It is... quite the hike to reach the area he's to meet Brenda in. Clay ends up taking most of the day just to make the climb due to needing to stop and rest and acclimate to the increased elevation. How the heck do a bunch of fire chickens live up here? It's like there's not enough air for everyone! When he finally reaches the area in question, it's nearly sundown. Brenda is standing in a circle of dirt that seems like it's made as an arena of sorts, smirking at him.
"Took ya long enough, Monkey Boy. Have a nice climb?"

Clay sticks his tongue out at Brenda. "Hey, it's been a while. And I never came up this high very often when I lived here. You weren't kidding when you said you'd be waiting at the top, huh?" He was covering a chance to catch his breath; sure, Brenda would probably wait until he was ready, but he didn't need to give her more reasons to mock him. Especially with her whole tribe watching.
He unslings his staff from his back and twirls it before planting one end on the ground. A metal staff is probably something most of the Blaziken haven't seen... heck, he doesn't know how much metal they've seen at all. He gives her a challenging grin. "I'd say 'don't hold back', but I don't think that's a problem you're gonna have, is it?"
He picks up one of his apricorn balls and sends out Tavi. "Least you can see I didn't waste the time since our last bout."
The Samurott inclines his head with its long, spiny shell covering. "Thee wonneth't findeth me such an easy vict'ry this timeth!"

Brenda snorts. "Oh please. This place isn't anywhere near the top of the mountain. We're maybe.. a bit more than halfway up. It's much colder at the top."
That said, she hefts her hammer and produces one of her apricorn balls. "Regardless. Whenever you're ready, Monkey Boy."

When Brenda hammers Fan down and her Primeape's wicked strike finally lands a deciding blow on Flower, Clay raises a hand. "Fine, I'm calling it here. You win." He hauls himself a little farther upright, shaking his head as he recalls his Pokémon. "I got one more. You remember Peng, right? The Farfetch'd? He's good, but I don't think he can take your whole team. Besides, I might need him later. How in the heck are you still standing?"

Brenda seems to almost wither the moment Clay calls the remainder of the fight off. Marty seems disappointed he doesn't get to punch more stuff, but actually calms down surprisingly fast for a Primeape, who are well-known for their almost never-ending rage. He walks over and catches Brenda as she passes out. He looks at Clay and suggests that if he wants treatment for his injuries, he can come back to their home for a bit. If Clay chooses to follow Marty the Primeape, he gets the chance to learn about how Brenda can force her body past the normal limits for a human in order to fight longer; similarly to how she can injure herself to hit harder.
If Clay followed Marty and Brenda to the Blaziken tribe's location, he and his team receive Revival Herbs and Enriched Waters to help speed recovery.

Clay limps after Marty, wondering distantly whether he's calming down that fast thanks to Brenda's influence or if he's just a very unusual Primeape. Most Mankey he's met have had the rest of their troop around to egg them on.
That's really not the important thing, though. Clay calls out Peng. "Got one more flight for you to make, buddy. Can you head back to town and tell Kalani - I mean, uh. Here, let's..." He digs a scrap of paper out of his bag. He's still not great at reading and writing but he's been practicing, even if Rei's promised lessons have been patchy with everything else going on.
Am ok. Wil be lat. Soree. Clay
"Take this to the lady we've been staying with, okay?"
Once Peng's on his way, Clay will make his way off after Marty.
"Thanks for the help. Really." This will be addressed to Marty or the Blaziken, whoever is helping them heal up. "I wasn't looking forward to having to climb down the mountain after Brenda worked me over like that."

The Blaziken "healer" nods. It knows well how hard Brenda can hit once she gets going. Most in the tribe can't stand up to her for long, but they can jump much higher so they can evade her more easily if it comes to it. Not that she's trouble or anything, just has a tendency to want to pick fights. The Blaziken chuckles some as it mentions they usually have to restrict Brenda to not using her hammer or even just using the moves they taught her in order to stand much chance. This Blaziken mentions that Clay is quite resilient himself if he's still conscious after taking so many hammer blows from Brenda. It's curious as to what Clay's training regimen is like.

Clay grimaces a little. "Oh, I know she likes to pick fights. You're talking to the guy she walked all the way to Cerulean and threatened a room full of other fighters to pick a fight with." He'll happily talk about his training regimen for a while, though his style is clearly a little different from the Blaziken - not to mention the fact that he trains mostly with his own Pokémon or with the Fighting Branch, which means he gets exposed to a lot of different fighting styles in general.
Cautiously, he ventures to ask a question that's been hovering in the back of his mind since his first encounter with Brenda. "She talks to you guys, right? The way I do, I mean. Do you know if there are a lot of humans who can do that somewhere? For a while I thought it was just another language, then I thought I was the only person who could do it - and then she showed up."
In fact, there's a slight double-meaning behind this. At first Clay was just curious about another human who seemed to have the same strange power, but it's just now occurred to him that Brenda might actually be related to him somehow. He has no idea if this sort of ability runs in families, the way Pokémon can pass down techniques - after all, he's not exactly in a position to know anything about his human parents.
