Jack looked at Bolt's pleading eyes. "I don't know where they went, I didn't even know where you were hiding them...or that you were hiding them at all until today," he said. Then, well, he got a Mankey on his back...
Jack struggled to stay standing with the sudden extra sixty pounds of pokemon atop him. "So...I take it...you want to...come with us...heh heh," he said, straining to keep his balance as he reached for a PokeBall. "You know...it might be easier for us to travel together like this," he aaid, offering the Mankey the pokeball. "Whadda ya say? Should we make it official?," he asked.

As he strolled along through the grass, a flicker of movement caught his eye, and he looked up to try and identify it. Ooh! A Pidove! I was wondering when I'd be seeing one of those. Hopefully I can... His thoughts froze for a moment as he turned to keep it in his view, and suddenly realized that the tiny pigeon Pokemon was headed directly for Aethon. Oh, shi- "Aethon, look out!" Assuming that things are heading into combat imminently, Azrael can be assumed to be using Inspired Training.
Aethon will be using the Sprint maneuver and diving as far down as possible (narratively, he's trying to dodge out of the way of the surprise attack - mechanically, he's maneuvering the other pokemon to be within Pokeball range for later XD). If the Pidove isn't in range yet, I /think/ it shouldn't end up in range to hit this turn.

Jack
The Mankey bats the ball away, before scurrying a few feet away from Jack and Bolt. It looks like it's former trainers betrayal has left some lingering issues. The Mankey huffs and scratches at the dirt a bit, before eventually wandering back towards the pair.
Luke
Abaddon jumps a little in joy with his new name.
As Gawain and Abaddon begin to sniff and yip at each other, Luke notices that the sun is beginning to dip a little lower in the sky. It would be dark in about an hour.
Dave
The Budew watched the Pokeball fly off to the side, turning back just in time for Hals second beam to strike it head on, causing it to stumble for a few seconds before dropping to the ground unconscious. Hal has continued his undefeated streak in the Unova region.
Floating back over to Dave, he began to hover in front of him, beeping quizzically as he looks at his Trainer
Azrael
Artheon dives down, the bird flying right where he had been a moment later, quickly banking and flying after him. Once Aetheon had almost made it back to his trainer, the Pidove unleashed a gust of wind aimed right at Aetheon!

Luke smiles broadly as Abaddon accepts his new name. "Awesome! We're gonna be a great team, I know it!"
He looks up at the sky, and notices it's gonna get dark soon-ish. "We should probably head back... maybe I can get some grooming in, maybe teach you some stuff before it gets to late. Hmmm..." He thinks for a moment, before recalling both Maia and Abaddon. "Get back for now guys. I'll let you out once we've reached town." With that, he begins the walk back to town, heading straight for the center to at least get Gawain and Abaddon patched up fully.

"Let's just go... elsewhere," Dave says, grumbling as he retrieves the errant Pokéball. Stupid catching... I don't see why anyone ever does this, he internally rages, pushing his Pokéballs far down in his bag. As he does so, he brushes against the other thing that he'd brought from home. Huh. Wonder if it'll work now... Hal hadn't been ready for it before leaving Hoenn, but maybe now it'd work. Shrugging, he pulls out the disc, and says, "Hey, Hal, I just want to try something. I think you're ready for a bit of an upgrade. Hopefully it'll work. I know Silph products are almost as reliable as Devon, so it shouldn't have too many bugs..."

"Hey-," Jack starts as the pokeball gets swatted away, but stops. "Oh, I get it. You're still upset about your old trainer...," he said kindly. "That's alright," he said, putting the pokeball away, "you can hang out with us for as long as you like, and if you decide you want to train with us, we can make it official later," he grinned. "Or, if you think it would help you get to know us, we could have a battle. I'm sure Bolt wouldn't mind, right buddy?," he asked, looking at his Pichu pal.

Azrael sucked in a sharp breath as the blast of wind narrowly missed the rapidly approaching Aethon, the weakening rush of air blowing over him and pulling his hat with it. "Alright, Aethon, looks like this one wants a fight! Go for it!" He grabbed an empty pokeball off the back of his belt as Aethon pulled a sharp loop, diving towards his opponent. Azrael - Inspired Training Aethon - Tackle (AC: 5, Damage: 30)

Jack
The Mankey huffs a little before nodding. It looks like it wants to test how good of a Trainer Jack is before he travels with him. Bolt looks to Jack and gives a little nod as well, showing he knows what this battle stands for.
The Mankey stands a few meters away from the duo, and screeches for the fight to begin, though Bolt was able to react at almost that exact same moment
Luke
The Trip back towards the Center was mostly uneventful for Luke, though once he was almost back in town, he heard a somewhat familiar voice and the sounds of battle in a nearby clearing. Gawain looked up at him with worry, not sure if they should check it out or leave it be
Azrael
As Aetheon smashes into the bird, sending it back a few meters, it retaliates with an even more powerful gust of wind. Unlike last time, Aetheon had no time to dodge the air, the hit striking him harder than even the Pidove had expected.
Dave
As Hal floats towards the disc, a small opening appears on his face, mimicking a mouth in it's placement. As Dave inserts the disc, Hal begins to glow a soft green, zeroes and ones flashing across his body replacing his familiar pastel colour scheme. As the numbers move quicker and quicker, his body began to soften, his hard corners rounding out and his head shrinking in size. Slowly, the numbers begin to disappear, replaced with a slightly darker Pink and Blue.
The new and improved Hal now floated in front of Dave, beeping with a slightly different sound then before as he looked at his trainer once more

"Alright then," Jack said, taking up positions behind Bolt. He could tell that, if he and Bolt won, the Mankey would be willing to let him capture it.
"Let's start of strong with a Thunder Shock Bolt!," Jack said confidently.
Bolt nodded, loosing a bolt of electric energy at the Mankey while attempting to keep his distance.

Dave casts an approving look at the evolved Hal. "Impressive. Those Silph guys aren't half-bad." He nods, able to let the irritation from the previous battle fall away, before saying "Well, I should probably take you back to the Center. Make sure that everything's working out fine. Maybe you could try stretching those circuits and check out the new PokéDex, see how it holds up..."

Luke hesitates for a moment, but shakes his head. "I'm sure that whoever is facing whatever, they can handle it just fine. No need to intrude on other people's training, right?"With that, he continues walking back to town, heading immediately for the Pokécenter to get Gawain and Abaddon healed up. After that is done he goes outside, releases all of his mon and starts grooming and instructing both Maia and Abaddon, teaching them how to best take advantage of their strengths and nature, how to be more than normal, how to be extraordinary. Meanwhile, he has Gawain help him out, show them some tricks and assist in practising some tactics. Training stuff! Grooming both Maia and Abaddon, they both get 10 exp Both now have Focused Training in effect Spending 2 AP for both to give them Last Chance using Type Ace Using Extraordinary to give them both Type Strategist

Jack
Bolt charged up less than usual before letting loose a blast of static electricity at the Mankey, striking it hard but the Pig Monkey rolled with the strike, moving up and slashing past Bolt, causing the little Spark Mouse to cry out!
Luke
The training went well, Gawain taking to teaching like a Magikarp takes to splashing, and Abaddon grasping the tactics of battle quicker than Luke had expected. Towards the tail end of his training, Luke had the feeling that someone was watching him, and heard a slight giggle as Abaddon and Maia had a mock battle.
Dave
Hal nods in understanding and began to hover gently back towards the Pokemon Center. The walk back is oddly silent, no more wild Pokemon coming near the pair. As Dave made it back to the Center, the Nurses eyes went wide as she realized she was going to have to work on the Artificial Pokemon once more

Luke is quite happy with how well his training was going, and is pretty engrossed in it, when he is suddenly started from his focus by the sounds of giggling. Looking around, he tries to find the source of the noise, calling out "Who's there?" if he can't see it.

The walk back to the center was too quiet... Luckily, Dave had some music on his PokéNav to help alleviate that. So, that at least helped pass the time. Entering the center, Dave notices the Nurse is apparently about as happy to work on Hal as he is to have her work on him. Well, they would both have to suck it up. Sadly. Relinquishing Hal to be healed, Dave decides to do the prudent thing, and use the PC system to see what information he can glean on the "Team Plasma" people from earlier. It might be prudent...

Bolt took the hit hard, struggling to stand back up with great effort. As he stared down the Mankey, he smirked. Static electricity began to play along the Mankey's form, making movement difficult. Bolt charged up for another blast of electricity and unleashed it, blasting the Mankey.
"Great job Bolt, I'll take it from here!," he said, stepping forward and throwing a pokeball at the Mankey. He couldn't have thrown it any better if he tried. Now he just had to wait and see if the Mankey was weakened enough...and willing to be his partner.

Jack
Bolts static charge danced across the Mankey, causing the Pokemon to struggle to move. A moment later, the electric mouse released the second strike, causing the Mankey to wince once more.
As Jack throws the ball, it struck the Pig Monkey with no problems, the ball shaking for less than a second before the sweet chime of success rang out across the forest
Luke
The giggling grew louder as Catelynn stepped out from behind a nearby tree, Rose floating by her side "Sorry for peeking. I just saw you training and didn't want to interrupt. Both of those Pokemon seem to listen to you really well!" She said with a smile
She looked down and kicked the ground a bit "Ummm the reason I came out here was to say thank you. Rose was hurt and everyone else was panicking but you stood up to Team Plasma and chased them off. It was really cool"
Dave
The nurse reluctantly heads into the back with Hal, and Dave hears a loud "OH COME ON" a few minutes later, most likely when they realized that the Program Pokemon had evolved.
Settling into the PC he begins his research. being able to find out some basic info on the group from news articles. They had attacked once under the leadership of the Hero of Truth, paired with the Legendary Dragon Reshiram, who were stopped by the Hero of Ideals and Zekrom, who had set out from Nuvema Town. Two years later, they attacked again, led by a man named Colress and freezing half of the region from their flying frigate. They were stopped by a trainer from Aspertia City and the return of their King.
However, there are some sites Dave tried to get into that seemed to lock him out, and it would take a bit of effort to get into them and whatever info they have....

Hmmm... Interesting. Well, that was all well and good, but it didn't really explain too much. At least it was a time-waster. And distraction from thinking about how the Nurse could possibly screw up Hal's shiny new programming. The fact that they could freeze half the region, though, was rather impressive...

Luke smiles as he sees Cat. He blushes at her praise though, he too looking downward in embarrassment. "Thanks but... it wasn't all that much what I did. You'd have done the same if... you know, Rose wasn't hurt..." Which was kinda my fault... he panics a bit, and quickly tries to divert the topic of the discussion. "But yeah, they seem to listen to me pretty well. These are Maia and Abaddon" - he indicates each mon in turn - "I only caught them this afternoon, after the whole Plasma stuff and the thing with the show... Oh, you probably don't know this yet, but apparently me and the other guys who battled have automatically qualified for the finals, or semi-finals, I guess, so I guess I'm already pretty close to fullfilling my promise to you! That's pretty cool, right? The show that was gonna follow the winner of the tournament is apperantly also going to be starring us instead..." His mood drops a bit after the last statement, despite some of his excitement about it, it still kind of freaked him out.

"Alright!," Jack said triumphantly as the pokeball chimed success. Victory! I caught a Mankey!
He hurried over, letting Bolt onto his shoulder, picking up the pokeball and letting out the Mankey. "That was a great fight Mankey. Probably the toughest challenge me and Bolt have faced so far," he said eagerly. "Let's head back to the Pokemon Center and get you guys all patched up," he said with a smile. He could tell the battle had taken a lot out of Bolt, and they should probably get back. Besides, he was supposed to meet up with the guys for dinner soon...

Luke
Catelynn's eyes widened "YOU'RE GONNA BE ON T.V.!?" She quickly placed her hands over her mouth before continuing with less yelling "Sorry, that's just so exciting! That means that even when we leave Nuvema Town I can watch you battle and stuff!"
She walks over and pets Abaddon behind the ear, the normally violent Deerling staying more calm then Luke had seen since catching him "And I know you'll fulfill your promise, especially with friends as strong as these guys!"
Dave
With a bit of maneuvering, Dave was able to get into a few websites that he probably shouldn't have, Unovan Fire Walls were nothing to him after all....
The first one gave some insight into exactly HOW Plasma had frozen the region, harnessing the Power of the all but forgotten third Dragon, the remnant of the split so long ago.
The second explained that the Hero of Truth and Colress were never the true leaders of Team Plasma, but rather they were both Pawns to a man known only as Ghestis. Not much is known about him other than he escaped custody after the the Second Incident.
A third and final site explained the difference in philosophy that the two iterations of Plasma had, with an overwhelming number the first time actually wanting to help foster peace between humans and Pokemon. These more noble men and women, fought back during the Second Incident and helped bring it to a close.
Jack
Jack made it back to the Pokemon Center without any problems, Bolt napping on his shoulder, worn out from the fighting, and the Mankey attempting to climb up him once more.
Upon entering the building, he saw a familiar pink head of hair hunched over a PC in the corner...
