Olivier stopped smiling. That. That was a very, very big deer. Even he, with little to no intuition on the subject could see that. This was a great and mighty foe; one that they could not possibly hope to defeat anytime soon.
He stepped beside the door and hid as swiftly as he could; gesturing to his new companions to quickly and quietly CLOSE THE DOOR, with frantic waving arms.

"Holy- Shut the door! Shut the dooooor!" Helios hisses upon seeing the titanic monster lurking in wait.
He quickly grabs Solaire's pokeball from his belt and readies it for release while backing away from the door, not daring to throw it and make any more noise than necessary.

Bee swallows hard. That is a pretty awesome-looking Pokémon, but she really doesn't want to mess with that. So she's going to agree with Helios (and with Olivier's emphatic gestures) and start pushing the door shut as quickly and quietly as she possibly can. Stealth: 13

Group Stealth Total: 36
A bit puzzled over the size of the pokemon laying behind the door, it takes Nette a moment to piece things together. Once she does, she does her uttermost to remain still and keep the FOE sleeping. As quietly as she can manage she whispers "Should we try and sneak past it or go for another door ...? Shutting the door might wake it ..."

"If it wakes up at all and starts walking, it might block our way out!" Olivier panickly hissed. "Besides... Everyone knows that deer can't open doors! They don't have hands!"

"So shut up and help me with the door!" Bee hisses, cutting in on the whispered conversation. She is, to be blunt, not very big - okay on upper body strength, what with the archery, but there's only so much muscle can do without mass behind it. The heavy stone door is a bit much for her to manage on her own. Bee Athletics: 6 Power: 5

"That-" Nette conceded "-are two excellent points!" And with that she once more grabbed hold of the door, but this time to push it closed. At her feet her Mawile looked at the spectacle with confusion written all over her but shrugged and started to push. Nette Athletics: 20 Mawile Athletics: 8 (Oh and since you did ask which pokes were up and about, Mawile did help open the door ... But we also made the Stealth roll with a bit to spare )

Olivier nods and throws his own weight behind the door. Nee would attempt to help too, but is too busy shedding cotton all over the place in a wild panic.
Olivier Athletics: 8
Nee Athletics: Panicking ineffectually.

Helios stands back a short distance, content to watch the others work; he isn't built for pushing huge stone doors, after all.
Having an idea, he readies himself to use the Ariados thread if necessary.

Before the door closes you can hear one more snort, this one much more "breezy" than the previous ones pushing somewhat strongly on you. With your combined efforts, you've managed to close the door on the giant sawsbuck without incident. With the tense situation diffused, the air feels much easier to breath. The two remaining doors somehow look even more welcoming than before.

Nette exhales deeply and sighs when the door closes without a hitch. She was feeling a little guilty that the door she picked led to so much commotion, so she waited for someone else to pick the next door. In the meanwhile she picked up her Mawile and gently squeezed it for comfort, leaning over Bee to see if she were to write 'Here be FOEs' on the map.

Olivier for his part took out a blank tag and wrote quickly onto the paper, "FOE HERE. DO NOT OPEN!", before slamming it onto the door.
That. That was much too close.

"Another door then?" Nette carefully remarks.

"Y-yes!" Olivier exclaims as the color rushes back to his cheeks. "Perhaps the southern door? I am all for going the opposite direction from this one!

Bee leans against the door, breathing hard, before looking down at the map. She does't write "Here be FOEs!", but she does draw the angriest-looking deer head she can manage and put a very emphatic X over that door. "Guess we know why it's so quiet around here now," she remarks. "Big guy must have scared everything else off. Wonder if that's why we were getting interference from Farina..."
She looks between the two doors cautiously. "South's okay. They're pretty much the same. We're gonna have to go west eventually, though." If they want to be really complete, they'll also have to find some way past the FOE eventually...

With the danger passed, Helios relaxes, stands up straighter, and brushes himself off (even though he didn't really do anything to get dirty).
"Well, now that you guys are done opening the wrong door, maybe we can proceed with making actual progress in this dungeon. Since the right door wasn't the right door after all, the left sounds good." He smirks a little at this.

With the party agreeing on the southern door, they line up to enter the southern door, with Nette leaning on it to push it open. No sooner than she cracks it open, though, that she gets a sudden chill; on reaction, she turns around and sees a sudden flash of black and brown Pokemon coming out of nowhere and shoving Nette right into the door, smacking her against the stone and practically cracking her nose on it. It was a swarm of Phantump! They must have been hiding behind the door and waiting for someone to try and open it before sneaking through and attacking. The roll was for Nette's Perception, since we agreed in Skype chat she would probably open it. Alas, she failed to detect it, plus got critted in the face and got hit 34 damage from an Astonish, which uses one use of Lucky Chant and does 27 damage. The Astonish also finches her for the initial round of combat
Initiative: Bee: 12 Helios: 10 Oliver: 7Phantump Swarm: 6, Physical Eva: 3, Special Eva: 3, Spd Eva: 1 Nette: 5 (Flinched!) Nette's Mawile: 5 Solaire: (Helios' Sunkern): 5 Nee: (Oliver's Cottonee): 5 Lance (Bee's Swinub): 3 I'll try and see if block initiative works for now; so the initial three can go and post in any order.

Bee more or less squeals in surprise as a whole thicket of Phantump appears out of nowhere. She releases Lance in a flash of light, then draws her bowstring back, with no arrow visible - until a long icicle crystallizes out of thin air on the string. She fires it into the cloud of dark Pokémon and wooden masks. "Guys, we've got company! You okay, Nette?" She tries to spot the forest spirit through the mass of Phantump. Bee used Ice Shard! Accuracy: 12 vs AC 2; Damage: 21 Physical Ice damage

"Solaire, assist me!" Helios tosses Solaire's pokeball off to the side, releasing the pokemon about 6 meters from the swarm. Then he realizes what pokemon they are fighting, and groans. Ghost types, my only weakness. And worse, they resist Solaire too. With a sigh, he steels himself to get in close to use Flash. A cone of bright light shines down from just above Helios' head for a moment, dazzling the eyes of the Phantump swarm. Helios uses Flash: roll 20 vs AC 2+1 (auto-hit)
Lowers the swarm's accuracy by 1
Helios is now 2m from the Phantump

"Oh my stars and garters!" Exclaims Olivier, brandishing his staff before him.
He focuses kindly upon the Phantump, before spinning his staff and crying, "Wall of light! Keep us safe from beasts of night!"
Immediately, a shimmering shield fell upon the party, protecting them from Physical Damage!
Olivier uses Reflect!
