The unconscious charge smashes into the last barrier, cracking it and hitting Scier lightly. Then the Rhyhorn crashed into the ground. As the only being still up, Scier looks around confused with a 'what do I do now?' expression. It looks over, seeing Floyd there, and tries to wave him over to help.

As Scier tries to flag down Floyd, Juri reappears to collect her mother and her Pokemon.
"Heh. Yeah, Rhyhorn tends to do that. Anyway, nice job. Ya managed to beat her, if only just. I think we can all agree that you've earned your Desert Badge, but I'm afraid that you'll have to wait a bit for her to recover and present it to you herself."
She spots Floyd standing across the way and waves at him.
"Well, lookie here. Mr. 'lost in the sand' made it through!" She slaps you hard on the back and leans in close, whispering. "Now why'd ya have to go and get my older sister involved in this, eh? Thrashing guys like you builds character! Tsk. Whatever."

About an hour later, Nekura, Lia, and their pokemon are all up and ready to go again. Nekura proudly presents Lia with the Desert Badge, P1750, and TM 37 - Sandstorm!

Still feeling somewhat sore from the previous day's events, Lia searches for an easy mark to earn some quick cash without having to strain herself too much. She quickly spots a weird older fella in overalls headed for the road out of town. Flagging him down, she convinces him to agree to a battle.
Rancher Marco agrees to battle!
Rancher Marco has 3 Pokemon. The battle is a standard 1v1 without trainer combat. Marco selects an Aipom as his first Pokemon. He commands it to begin by using Scratch.

I think it's time for Los to redeem herself.Lia releases her Carvanha to the field next to the Aipom. She gives it a quick order, and Los not being one to wait, rushes forward on a jet of water before the battle truly began! Lia applies Brutal Orders.

The attack manages to do quite a bit of damage to Jazda, and prompts him to put up barriers to prevent further damage so he can himself just whittle his opponent down. Jazda uses Reflect!
