When Cinder goes down, there is a brief lull in the fighting. It's almost like the universe is waiting for something to happen. Just then, there is a brilliant explosion of light and fire as something entirely unexpected emerges as the final Pokemon under Gym Leader Ashandra. Mother. Flipping. Victini. No wonder barely anyone makes it past Ashandra to challenge Viridian if she's got a friggin' Legendary (Mythical) Pokemon on her side. Victini certainly makes a grand entrance though. It waves politely to Scier and Hori before getting serious.

Pyro moves a bit closer and sends some lava at both Scier and Hori.

One of the barriers immediately shatters when the fucking legendary takes the field! Hori moves closer to blast both with stars! Scier decides to help bring down the mega, this new one seems special somehow. Swift vs Victini(holy shit) and Pyro!

Phew. Victoria hasn't had a workout like this in awhile! Good show, strange ghost rat! Time for the finale though! Victoria the Victini begins to gather energy, charging up for something big. Suddenly it rushes at Hori and slams into her, a giant "V" of fire erupting all around her.

Victoria can't hold out any longer, and allows herself to go down. If she could use her full power as a Legend, it'd probably be different, but to be somewhat fair to challengers, she restricts herself quite a bit. Nevertheless, this trainer has earned a Victory!
Lia gains her Pyromania Badge (Milestone), her choice of TM (Fire Blast or Will-o-Wisp), 4 Misc XP, 600 Poke XP, and 6250 PYen.
Ashandra clearly doesn't like giving out badges, but Lia earned it nonetheless. If Lia inquires about the legendary, Ashandra asks only that Lia keep its presence secret from those who haven't earned the badge yet.
