Meganium is sent flying across the arena as it reverts to its base form. Nalkeya is flabbergasted. Nobody has crushed her so thoroughly in *years*! Ugh. Dumb League rules making it so she has to 'play fair' and use the same team for everyone. Nevertheless, she plasters on a fake smile and congratulates Lia. She pushes her badge and prize money into the fox-girl's hands before ushering her out the door. Hidden among the objects given by Nalkeya is a slip of paper with her personal number on it. It reads 'call me if you ever need some sexy fun times'.
Lia earns her Toxic Badge (Milestone), 4 Misc XP, 5000 PYen, 480 Poke XP, and TM 36 - Sludge Bomb.

After reviewing her options, Lia elects to face Gym Trainer Ashley in a 6v6 battle instead of taking part in the Gauntlet.
Once in the arena hanging over the volcano's caldera, Ashley sends out her first Pokemon; a Ninetales.

Lia runs forward and growls and blasts both targets, while Amagi somehow replaces the sun with Hail! In a volcano! Somehow! She also levels both cannons and fires both, spitting out two leech seeds! Then Lia launches a ghostly ball at Ashley! Lia uses a Swift action to use Speed Demon (Gaining 3 speed tokens)
Lia uses Hyper Voice vs both!

Both Ashley and her Ninetales are lightly injured by the sonic blast, but avoid the seeds with ease. Ashley merely swats the will-o-wisp aside with a scoff. She raises an eyebrow at Lia like 'you didn't really expect that to work, right?'.
Tinder activates her Drought ability to negate the hail, though not before being harmed by it. She surrounds Amagi in a ring of fire.
