Nathan snaps his fingers as his Gorebyss passes out from the psychic attack and floats back to the surface. He recalls it.
"Phew. That was a close match, Lia. If you hadn't smacked Drew around so quickly, I might have made it. You're definitely strong enough to face Leader Alei."
Lia earns 74 Poke XP, 1500 PYen, and 2 Misc XP (1 each from Drew and Nathan).

She begins filling out the paperwork, going so far as to note her fishing hobby and the three water types she has of this time. She feels travel may be an issue, but Maxine has a Tropius. Maybe she would be convinced to let Lia breed it or at least borrow it. Then she could easily get back and forth without issue.
Once done she gives it back to Nathan.

While he heads off to fetch the Gym Leader, you make your way back through the women's lockers to the arena, which is now clean after the two big battles from you and Floyd. After only a few minutes, an (objectively) attractive red-head enters the room in a black bikini.
"Hello. You must be Lia Regal. Nathan speaks quite highly of you. I'm Aleisandra Andario, Leader of the Cerulean Gym." She looks you up and down, smiling slightly. "I think I understand what he sees in you. Let's get this battle started, shall we? This will be a Full Contact 2 on 2 match. Whenever you're ready, I'll meet you in the pool."
With this, she tosses a Poke Ball into the pool, then dives in along side of it. A Wartortle emerges from the ball, floating beneath the water next to her. They seem to be... talking? as they wait for you to join them.

She tosses Los' pokeball into the water and dives in herself. She surfaces, shaking water off of her head.
"And swimsuit put to use accomplished! Ah the water feels good. Probably won't when we are punching each other, though. Good thing I enjoy that part."
Lia laughs to herself.

Lia smiles as she powers through the water, and at the last second pops out of the water. She spins in the air, extending her leg, with it landing on Wartortle's head. The attack seems to put a chink in the Wartortles defenses Los manages to get herself nearly close enough to fight but does no more than stare down the competition. Lia somehow manages to attack again in a display of unreal speed that nearly leaves ghost images amid the water splashing. She uses the water to spin-kick right through them both. Lia uses Bounce!
AC 4 Flying Physical (Vulnerable, and then Paralyze on 16+) (User first shifts, adding +1 to their movement and jump capabilities, before attacking with Bounce)

Despite the impressive display, both Aleisandra and her Wartortle remain up, though Wartortle looks quite a bit worse for wear. While in a Vortex, the target is Slowed, Trapped, and loses a Tick of Hit Points at the beginning of each turn. At the end of each turn, the user may roll 1d20 to end all of these effects; during the first turn, they must roll a 20 or higher to dispel the vortex. The DC is lowered by 6 each following turn, automatically wearing off on the fifth turn (20, 14, 8, 2, Dispel).

Lia's head spins as she watches the leader swim literal circles around her. "Holy HELL she's fast. Los, lets go get the turtle yeah?"Lia goes to move down but quickly finds that she is in a stinging vortex that follows her movement. "Whoah ok, that's not weird at all. (Or cool, I don't wish I could do that)."Lia swims down to the Wartortle and unleashes a flurry of flying fists, while Los swims down and around to hit it with dark powah! Wartortle is now Flanked!
