As Glosny begins "yelling" again, the Tranquill zooms in to hit it again. Both attacks connect as one, resulting in a Double KO. With Lia having one more Pokemon left, she wins the match.

Lia also heads back to the main arena, meeting up with Nathan, who comments that she looks good. He waves over his friend from before who seems to have already changed back to his street clothes and ropes him into a Double Battle against Lia. Drew looks very annoyed, but acquiesces to get Nathan off his back.
After Floyd's fight, they set up in the same manner as the girls.
Nathan: "Let's start this off with Barboach!"
Drew: Heavy sigh. "Frillish. Come out. Let's get this over with so I can go home already."

This time, Omanyte causes a wall of water to rise up to strike both of Lia's Pokemon, though it must rise somewhat to do so. It rises 3 meters and sends the water straight up.
