"Ding. Ding."Lia charges straight at Floyd, hitting him with a shoulder uppercut with all her weight behind it. As he reels, she takes a moment to focus in on the squirtle, and where Skala should hit it. Lia uses swift to tag Squirtle.
Lia then attacks Floyd with Strength!

Skala sees it's master rush at their opponents, and does the same, but stops short, and curls up to defend itself! Fair enough!
Skala uses Defense Curl!

Floyd grunts as Lia's fist strikes home, stepping backwards and twirling his axe. "Calyx, strike with Bubble!" He orders, bring up his axe for a crosswise cut. Floyd uses Metal Claw, + Champion of Steel. His attack and defense will raise 1 stage on a 16+ and if he hits Lia she will lose a tick of hp + the rest of the damage due to Steelheart.
Calyx is targetting Skala and if she gets a 16+ to hit, Skala's speed will lower 1 stage.

Lia staggers back as she's cut surprisingly deep. She looks down in shock at the now-open wound. And then... something that hasn't happened in quite some time in any physical fight of hers. Adrenaline. And a LOT of it. She looks up to Floyd, and grins. "There we are!"She gains a surge of power and speed, and spin-kicks Floyd right in the head. Meanwhile, Skala ignores the popping of frail bubbles near it's body before whirring to life, attempting to bowl Calyx right over! Lia activates Adrenaline Rush as a free action after dropping below 50% HP! Gains a tick of hp, and then her Athlete trained stats go up by one each!

She then attacks Floyd with Aerial Ace

If Lia doesn't faint, Floyd uses Bullet Punch to strike her at the top of the next round. He does so by by jabbing her with the but of the axe.

He brings the axe back across Lia's midsection, but some quick flipping from her lets her roll with the attack, deflecting a ton of the damage. She stands, wobbling a bit. "Floyd, honestly, I can do this all-"She doesn't get a chance to finish her sentence before he lands the handle directly in her face, and she falls, unconscious. The friction from Skala's spinning begins to sound like a tire as it attempts to bowl over the squirtle in a desperate move to keep the battle from falling. Rollout vs Calyx

"Perhaps my blade is too sharp." Floyd says with a frown, before dropping the axe and kneeling down next to Lia. 'Two cuts and a head blow, yet the first cut seems to be the worst. It may scar though I don't know Lia well enough to say if she desires scars or not.' He thinks to himself, sorting through his supplies. 'Best to staunch the bleeding first.'He glances up and sees Calyx take the blow. "Stay strong Calyx. You can endure any blow it dishes out." He says as encouragement. Nodding to her trainer, the Squirtle sends a fresh barrage of bubbles at the Golett.
Floyd binds Iron Grit on Calyx,increasing her defense by 1 stage. Calyx attacks Skala with Bubble.

The dirt that's kicked up as Skala rolls back toward the Squirtle increases two-fold as it comes around for a second increased pass. Skala continues to rollout!

Calyx goes flying when Skala hits her, returning to her feet with an obvious wound on her belly. Her skin briefly becomes damp as she focuses, her eyes becoming more vital. "Try again Calyx. You can manage this." FLoyd says as hestarts dressing Lia's wounds. Calyx nods at her trainer, aiming another barrage of bubbles at the ghost. Calyx uses Rain Dish as a Swift Action to recover a tick of hp and attacks with Bubble. Floyd uses Focused Training as orders.

Calyx spins with the impact and collapses with a sigh.
"A battle well fought. Return and rest Calyx." He says as he watches Calyx transform into red light.
"Victory is yours then Skala. Shall we adjourn to the Pokemon Centre to heal our friends?" He asks, picking up Lia and carrying her into the Pokemon Centre without waiting for a response.

Skala lifts up out of it's huddled rolly position, and looks a bit confused. [And quite hurt, to boot] Despite thinking there was more pain coming it's way, the Golett watches Floyd pick up it's master with care and head back into the city, and it clops by the man's side, eager to follow.
