Greg & Zo:Both boys continue on to their next class without Vess and Trista. It seems like the girls aren’t missing much. The teacher doesn’t even take attendance, he just jumps right into the lesson. Today’s lesson is about grooming pokemon, which seems to just bore most of the class. The best part is probably when everyone gets to release one of their pokemon and groom it just because it’s more interesting than listening to Mr. Choi talk. You can apply training to one Pokemon you have not previously trained today. That pokemon also counts as being groomed today for the purposes of contests.
Roll Pokemon Edu in your next post.

Zo grooms Lipwig for the class, somehow managing to make the bird sit still and cooperate without flying off once. Pokémon Education: lCsfnkt73d6 3d6

Greg was no exception to the boredom of Mr. Choi's lesson, the boy practically falling asleep mid class, not bothering to pay attestation in the least. It had been a very draining day, and Greg found himself daydreaming about fishing, and wanting to just go out and look for some more water dudes. Greg was happy to get to groom Maria a bit, though, making sure to sneak her a few treats to reward the Horsea for staying still for a moment. Pokemon Education: LBuQTMRj2d6 2d6

After a few seconds of watching her closest partner of a couple days, Trista assured the rascal it could have a treat or two later. And maybe that she'd consider keeping a stash in the dorm.
But in the end, a Porygon wasn't the best conversation partner, and so Trista ended up waiting for a more human person to talk to. Ideally, Vess. With a watchful eye and not much else to do, Trista greeted the same girl at the door with a cheerful, "Oh good, you came!"
Once they were inside, she explained the situation, ending with, "...and so I figured we could open it up here, or maybe as a group or... Something, you know?"

Vess blinks a few times as Trista explains, not quite understanding the point in her being there. "So you called me because... your mother sent you a package, and you're mildly suspicious it didn't come from her, is that it?"

Greg & Zo:
The end of the class couldn’t come sooner, and when it does come, everyone tries to escape as quickly as possible. Before the two boys can shuffle their way to their last morning class, Dakota runs up to them.
“Hey, um, do you two know where Vess is? I wanted to ask her for some advice, but I didn’t see her anywhere…” He mumbles sheepishly.

Zo shakes his head. "No, no idea, sorry. She'll probably show up for lunch at least, though. Not sure if she'll be in time for the next class."

Greg shrugged in response to Dakota's question. "Yeah, haven't seen her around. If I see Vess I'll make sure to tell her you wanna see her. But not if you manage to find her first, because then you'll have to tell me you found her, or she'll have to tell me you found her, or Zo will have to tell me you found her, or Trista will have to tell me you found her..." Thankfully Greg stopped himself before listing out everyone he knew.

Greg & Zo:Dakota nods before scampering off to the next class. The next few classes go by quickly and unremarkably before lunch starts. As the boys stand in line for food, their pokedexes begin to vibrate. Upon checking them, they see that they’ve both got an identical message from a mass of jumbled letters and numbers. Okay so, sorry for skipping forward so much, but I felt like I needed to do something bigger than just classes. As such, I’ll assume you rolled the highest possible dice and got the highest possible rolls for the last two classes. Sorry for being a bad GM I promise I love you bbs <3 Trista & Vess:After their argument, both girls unwrap the gift and find $4000 PokeYen, 1 X Attack, 1 X Defend, 1 X Special, 1 X Sp. Defend, 1 X Speed, 5 Basic Balls, 1 Taiga Ball (Dive Ball), 1 Tundra Ball (Dive Ball), 1 Mountain Ball (Dive Ball), 1 Urban Ball (Dive Ball), and 1 Cave Ball (Dive Ball). Just when the two finish unboxing everything, their pokedexes start buzzing. They’ve both received a message from an unknown number.

Zo frowns slightly as he reads the message, before sighing and leaving the line, tapping Greg on his shoulder as he walks out. As he leaves the cafeteria, he sends a quick message to Trista.
Hey, we gotta talk. Meet at the fishing shack? - Z

Vess takes a moment to look over the items. It was a lot of... stuff. Trista's parents had money to spare, apparently. Interesting to know. "Well, I guess you're all set to capture pokemon for the next few weeks, at the very least."
As her 'dex buzzes twice, Vess flicks it open and quickly scans over the messages. "Looks like we got a job, no rest for the wicked... Come on, seems urgent."

Greg hardly noticed his Pokedex vibrating, too excited at the prospect of getting so grub to pay attention to such trivial things. It wasn't until Zo tapped Greg on the shoulder that he noticed his ringing gizmo, the fisherman hastily reading the message as he followed Zo out of the cafeteria, stomach grumbling.

After around fifteen minutes, the entire group meets up at the fishing shack. Before the door even closes, Vess’ pokedex starts ringing to indicate a phonecall. On the other line is Janus, but their tone seems off. They seem less casual and arrogant than they did the last time they spoke to you. If anything, they sound worried and unprepared.
“Hey, so...Sorry to interrupt your lunch kiddos, but everybody else is...away at the moment. Long story short, we had a...visitor coming in and the law decided to get involved. I’m sure they’ll be fine...probably, but the important thing is that we have to erase all of the evidence of him in the area. I’ve already remotely wiped everyone’s electronics, but we had a few dead-drops for him to pick up and I don’t think that’s going to be happening any time soon. I don’t care what you do with the drops, just get rid of them by the end of the day. You all should be receiving the briefing right about….now. If you’ve got any questions, ask ‘em now. You aren’t guaranteed to receive an answer, and if you do get one, there’s no guarantee you’ll like it.” They explain.

Greg scratched the back of his head while he listened to the mission details, the boy's eyes widening as he took it all in. "Woh, that's some serious stuff, dude. So, like, what do these these dead-thingy things look like? They just random boxes on the ground or do they have some type of special secret symbol on them?"

“Ah, god, what were these ones like..” Janus replies, thinking aloud. “I think they were black duffel bags. Then again, they could be briefcases...They should be plain, but they might have the Trinity logo on them somewhere.”

Vess thinks for a moment, a her typical stolid expression resting on her face. "What's in the drops, anything in particular we should know about that might changes how we grab the drops, how badly we need to avoid being caught with them, etc."

“That’s classified. There shouldn’t be anything that makes them dangerous or difficult to grab for you guys, and well, as for getting caught with them...They’re all equally bad. You’re kids, so you’ll get off, but not without a loooooot of questions.” If you’d like to try and get more information on this topic, you can roll Intimidation, Command, or Charm. If you roll with one skill, you won’t be able to try again using another one.

Zo frowns slightly. There were a few too many unknown factors here for his taste. "I realise you'd rather not share too much, but it'd be really helpful to at least have some idea what's in the drops, so we can plan accordingly in case things go wrong. If we're out in the dark and get caught, we'd have to think on the fly a lot more than if we knew what we're dealing with and could come up with a plan beforehand."Charm: juo9zUYv3d6 3d6

“Look, I know you want to know more, but its just not going to happen. The exact reason you want to know is why you can’t. If you get grilled by the cops, somebody might blurt something out. Besides, I’m not sure all of you are good enough actors to convince people you don’t know something you actually do. You’re much safer if you have no idea of what you’re picking up.”

Zo nods his head in thought, his eyes briefly flitting to the others. "Fair enough. I suppose that as long as nothing is likely to blow up on us, it shouldn't be too important what's in the drops."
