You all join hundreds of other students walking over to the school. Everyone is laughing and talking amongst themselves, making just walking an event. You can feel the excitement in the air. Walking into the stage, it looks completely different than it did earlier. The stage curtains have been changed into sheer drapes hanging towards the back of the stage, all backlit with a soft white light. On the sides of the stage are two large, white, arrangements of large pussywillows and small white flowers. Dripping from the ceiling are strands of white see-through beads that shine under the soft lighting of the room. The edges of the stage have a bit of fake snow sprinkled on them. The room itself is lit up with soft blue and white lights. You find your seats in a sea of plush white chairs. Perhaps you sit with some of the people from your dorm, or maybe you sit with someone new. Things quickly calm down, or at least, as calm as it can get with a room full of excited new trainers and coordinators with new pokemon. After a few minutes, two people come onto the stage. The crowd goes crazy! You instantly recognize the people on the stage as Audrey and Cole Letourneau, the brother and sister pair that have taken Zaphros by storm. For five consecutive years, they have held their titles; Audrey as Leader of the Elite Four, and Cole as High Coordinator. With them, are their signature pokemon. Victoria, Audrey’s Absol stands proudly next to her, and Aurora and Pheonix, a Glaceon and Umbreon respectively, sit cuddled up to Cole. Audrey is known to be a very talented and prideful woman. It’s well-known that she was trained to battle from a young age to uphold her family’s legacy. The Letourneaus have a long history of being in the Elite Four, and she wasn’t about to ruin that. She became the Leader of the Elite Four five years ago at 26, and now at 31, she has no plans of stopping. Audrey is quite blunt in interviews, and is known for expressing her opinions and directly answering questions. Her battling strategy is quite brutal, focusing on overwhelming by stealthily darting in and out of battle, striking hard before disappearing back into the scenery. Audrey herself has no qualms about fighting back, and has participated in many trainer combat battles. Her signature weapons are a pair of ornate pistols passed down to her from her father. Audrey is always well-dressed, and looks more like a businesswoman than a trainer. Her makeup is quite understated, with only her red lipstick calling attention to the fact she’s wearing any at all. Her long black hair is always impeccably styled and put up into a sleek ponytail. Today she wears a gray and black blazer with a grey pencil skirt. Professional as always. Unlike his sister, Cole is charming, funny, and a media darling. Along with being High Coordinator, Cole is a well-loved singer, model, and actor. He has revived a lot of interest in contests through his unique use of themes and laidback attitude about the entire thing. Cole often jokes about what actually happens backstage at contests, and encourages people to have more fun with it. Many people have stated that they feel he is unfit to be High Coordinator, as he was first given the title at 22 and many feel that is much too young, and because of his carefree attitude. Cole has silver hair, and naturally blue eyes. While his eyes are naturally blue, he normally wears contacts to change that. Today, his eyes are purple. To go with that, he’s wearing one of his signature looks; a simple white suit and black tie. Phoenix has on a black bowtie and vest to match, and Aurora has on a sapphire necklace that you can’t imagine the cost of. If you want to know more about Audrey or Cole, please roll Gen Edu.
“Welcome, students, to Olmia Academy!” Audrey proudly announces. “For the next eighteen months, you’ll be given the training needed to become the best possible trainers and coordinators you can be!”
“Both Audrey and I believe in each and every one of you. If we didn’t, you wouldn’t be here. As previous Student Council Secretary, I look forward to meeting with this year’s Student Council and napping just as much as I did when I met with the High Coordinator!” Cole continues, getting a laugh from the crowd with his slight joke. “I’m sure you’ll all be more competent than my brother. Unlike him, I’m sure you’ll be able to pass your classes with ease.” Audrey says, returning back to what she normally sounds like in her interviews. There isn’t any more excitement in her voice, just a slight snark as she pokes fun at her brother. “We’re excited to see you all display your talents regarding Pokemon in both battling and contests.”“Out of curiosity, raise your hand if you’re doing mainly contests.” Cole says, walking to the edge of the stage with his mic. You can all tell, this wasn’t scripted. About half of the students raise their hands. “Alright, Alright. Now, put your hands up if you’re doing mainly battles.” The other half of the students raise their hands. ”Wow! It’s a fifty fifty split! Looks like everyone is gonna have a bit of competition for Top Trainer and Coordinator this year.” “Since we’re here, why don’t we show everybody what they can look forward to, eh Audrey?” Cole continues with a mischievous smile. The crowd starts to yell out, and Audrey obviously can’t say no now. “I suppose…” Taking a moment to compose herself, she looks her eyes on Victoria and then orders, “Victoria, Psycho Cut.” Victoria runs to the back of the stage, then as her horn starts glowing purple, she runs forward, stopping at the edge while a blade of purple energy shoots out of her horn above the students. Victoria trods back over to Audrey as she gets her applause. Cole smirks. “Nice one Victoria! Now it’s our turn. Aurora, use Blizzard, and Phoenix, follow it up with some Moonlight!” Aurora and Phoenix stand, and move so they’re side by side, intertwining their tails. Aurora opens her mouth, a white light shining inside of it. A powerful blizzard flies out of her mouth, starting to fall on the crowd. The ring Phoenix’s forehead glows as bright white lights shine down from the ceiling hitting the snow falling, making it shine brilliantly. The light shines down on Aurora and Phoenix as they bow, their tails still intertwined. After they bow, they untwine their tails and skip back over to Cole. The crowd goes crazy over the routine, gasping as the snow falls and releasing an “oooh” as the moonlight hits it. “With a little hard work, your Pokemon will be able to do that too.” Audrey says, getting back on with her speech. “You may feel bored or frustrated with your classes or field trips, but remember the feeling you had today when getting your starter. Many people will never get to feel that. Your starter will be a lifelong friend, and you’re lucky to be able to experience that. Those who are gathered here today are the future leaders, stars, and scholars of the world. Remember that whenever you feel ready to give up.”“Now, we have some very special guests to introduce you to!” Cole smiles as he moves onto the next topic. “One of my dear, dear friends got into Olmia Academy this year.” At this point the crowd starts to murmur. “I’ve worked with her on several projects before, and she’s a very talented girl. You’ve no doubt seen her on TV or heard her songs, but I can assure you, she’s pretty much the same as all of you, except she’s a superstar. Now, with no further introduction, come on up Chaika!” The students start screaming as a small girl in a futuristic styled dress walks onto the stage. She has medium length lilac hair in twintails, purple eyes, purple stockings, and black platforms with a strip of red LED lights on them. The main part of her costume itself is a simple purple dress and hoodie. The dress looks quite like a night-[own in design. The only detailing is a purple ribbon under the bustline, white lace trim, another purple ribbon near the bottom of the dress, and two large, circular, red lights on her hips with two red, suspender-like straps. Her hoodie is black, with two red stripes on the bottom, two large black and red bunny ears, and a red bunny-like logo on the back. None of you really know much about this “Chaika” besides hearing her name in passing. If you want to know more about Chaika, please roll Gen Ed. It waves then squeaks again. “Nice to see you again, Chaika!” Cole remarks, nodding at her, then looking at his sister. “I believe you have a guest as well. Is that right, Audrey?” “You’re correct Cole! Ever since I heard this young man’s story, I was intrigued. I didn’t know him personally at the time, but his list of achievements and current job is quite impressive. If you follow the news, you’ve no doubt heard of the young man who single-handedly beat several chess masters is record-breaking time. This young man was also contacted by our military to talk to several strategists and tacticians to talk about possibly training him further. He passed every test they give him with flying colors! He’s an amazingly talented young man, like all of you. Without further ado, please welcome Faron Maeret!” Unlike Chaika, Faron only gets a modest round of applause, instead of Chaika’s screaming frenzy. Faron walks onto the stage, with a bored look in his grey eyes. He honestly doesn’t look too odd. He just looks like a normal teenager. He has black hair and is wearing a grey sweater with a pair of black slacks. Next to him, stands a stoic looking Riolu. “I look forward to working with you all.” He says, quite simply. “I think that just about wraps it up!” Cole says, breaking the awkward silence left by Faron. “Yes, it is.” Audrey agrees. “From everyone in the leagues, welcome to the start of your Pokemon journey!” Feel free to post any feelings or reactions in your following posts. There’s two hours left before curfew, and you can go to the main office and sign up for clubs, go to the library, go back to your dorm, socialize with everyone and meet up with the other PCs, or do most other things. If you have a question about if you can do something or not, feel free to ask! Also, please state if you have your pokemon out.

"Well looks like we won't get to meet our roommate until after..." Lyn comments as she recalls her Vulpix into her pokeball and makes her way to the assembly. She didn't care about any seat in particular, she was only there because she had to be. Grabbing any seat that is available, Lyn leans back and waits for the ceremony to start while noticing the changes to the stage. It certainly looked better, but she couldn't help but feel that it was still annoying that it was so plain most the time. A dedicated stage with permanent designs would always look nicer, in her opinion. As the ceremony started, Lyn raised an eyebrow surprised. She hadn't expected to see the head of the Elite Four and the Head Coordinator so soon after arriving. She didn't join the chorus of screams and merely just watched them. There was little reason to be impressed by Cole when by the end of the year she'd replace him. She couldn't help but feel amused at the fact that people had been upset with his age and if she had her way she'd be even younger when she took his title. When they started talking Lyn barely paid attention until she caught the bit about student council. She hadn't thought of that before, but it seemed pretty appealing. Becoming the Student Council President would get her attention and fame and if she wanted to become the Head Coordinator she would need to make sure she was noticed enough to be nominated. If the current head coordinator did indeed plan to meet with the student council, regardless of his joke of sleeping that would mean that it would be her first chance to get her name out there and be noticed. If I can win some contests early and win Student Council President it would mean my first meeting should get his attention and make him consider nominating me in the future... Lyn thought as she started forming plans on how to make sure she could win the election. She would have to make sure everyone liked her, not just the Imperians. It felt weird having to rely on commoner votes, but at the same time they would make up the majority. She would have to watch how she spoke to people. No big deal...I've got plenty of experience with keeping a smile and being friendly considering some of the bitchy people that went to the good parties. She thought. Lyn hadn't expected to get anything out of this meeting, but now she was glad that she had gone instead of skipping out. She had her first real sign of her goal. First student council president, then top Olmia coordinator, and finally head coordinator. A small grin crossed her face as she watched the rest of the meeting. When asked about raising her hand, Lyn kept her hand down for both. She didn't see much reason to raise her hand like some middle-schooler. Besides, its not like anybody could see one hand in the big crowd. When they talked about a demonstration, Lyn rolled her eyes at the massive reaction from the crowd. Had these people never watched a contest or battle before? She had gone to the contest hall back home quite a bit and doubted it would be anything special. She glanced down at her Pokedex to check the time when Audrey did her demonstration. She debated opening it up and searching the internet to kill the time, but the burst of snow and the moonlight forced her eyes to look up and her jaw to slightly drop. Despite her attempt to be cynical and not be impressed by the Head Coordinator, she couldn't help but realize that perhaps taking his title wouldn't be as easy as she had dreamt. At the comment about future leaders and stars, the smirk crossed Lyn's face again. Having her own Pokemon when so many didn't, did indeed feel pretty awesome. And knowing that in the future she would just get even better was quite enticing. However, Lyn's smirk faded when the head coordinator specifically called out another student and introduced them. Was this a joke? She wasn't thrilled with the idea of the two top people throwing out their favorites and her eyes slightly narrowed as the girl walked onto the stage. The loud screams annoyed her even more as she covered her ears annoyed at the obnoxious screaming around her. So, the head coordinator clearly had a favorite? Then Lyn already had her rival. This girl was the first person Lyn had seen so far that she felt the need to acknowledge. She was famous, had ties to the head coordinator, and clearly had some skill. She could be a threat...looks like this year might actually be a bit more challenging then I thought. Perhaps not everyone here is underwhelming...As the girl began her introductions, Lyn quickly opened up her pokedex and searched for information online about the girl. She wanted to find out things this girl liked, her age, her hometown, what famous songs she had, and other useful bits of information. While she searched, she tried to remember things she had heard before. Depending on what this girl was like, she could either be very useful or very dangerous. On one hand, Lyn had to acknowledge that having a challenge would push her. But with the bias the head coordinator seemed to have, she was a bit worried about any chance of getting his nomination no matter how well she did. At the same time, the girl's connections and skills could be nice. All in all, Lyn wasn't sure how to feel about the girl. She felt threatened, determined, encouraged, and annoyed. She couldn't decide if she wanted to be friends with the girl as a way to both improve herself and get connections, or if she wanted to destroy the girl. Lyn didn't even acknowledge Faron's arrival, however, as she was busy looking up information on Chaika. She'd need to have a talk with this girl and figure out whether they were going to be best friends or worst enemies. When the meeting ended, Lyn tried to think of what to do. She highly doubted she would be able to get anywhere near the Chaika girl with the way the crowd seemed to drool over the girl. Ugh...if only I had a way to meet her privately... She thought annoyed. Why couldn't she be my roommate or something? Probably has some stupid special dorm considering the Head Coordinator's stupid bias. Not wishing to get buried in the crowd as people left, Lyn remained seated looking up stuff on her Pokedex. She would head out and look up information on the student council and try to figure out how to talk with this Chaika girl once most the people had headed out and it was less crowded. Zo had left Lipwig out of his ball, perched on his shoulder, trusting that the Murkrow wouldn't go off and nab any shinies while the ceremony was on its way. He chuckled as Jay's Zorua failed at being a plant. When he entered the stage area with the others, he was surprised to see how well it had cleaned up. It seems I was right with my guesses. This place can look absolutely great. He sits down in a vacant chair somewhere in the back, wanting a good view of the crowd if nothing else. He only pays half attention to the ceremony, mentally planning out what he would do tonight. He didn't bother raising his hand when asked. For one, he didn't really now what he was going to focus on to begin with, and besides, no need to point it out to all what he was planning to do. Zo appreciates the displays of the Elite Four Leader and the Head Coordinator, highly doubting anyone could contest their skill in their chosen profession. He frowns slightly as both of the big shots present their own 'special' candidates. Now that smells like nepotism if I ever heard it. Great, all of us are fighting an uphill battle He notes the apparent popularity of Chaika, mostly by the ringing of his eardrums, and tries to remember anything about her. He chuckles to himself as he signs up for Drama Club. There were a few other clubs that seemed interesting, but nothing that really seemed important at the moment. I can always join those later, I suppose.Guile admittance check for Drama Club: 4d6 After signing up and making sure everything was correct, he heads over to the library, planning on finding all the books they had on the occult. Once he had found at least a few ones, he checks his phone for the time. If he had enough time left, he would quickly scribble down a warding spell on a scrap of paper, imbueing it with power to activate it. One Cleanse Tag, made and ready for use. If he didn't have enough time, he would head out to a somewhat secluded corner near his dorm and begin some basic focus training with Lipwig. The corvid was gonna need it, Zo feared, if he wanted to stay on task without being distracted by shiny. If he didn't have enough time, he would immediately head out for training, before heading inside, and make the Cleanse Tag once he had time. Cleanse Tag Check: 3d6

Ill-at-ease in the enormous crowd, Trista very quickly searches for a seat. It would be nice if the neighbors weren't very attentive, but as long as she got out of the crowd, she'd be fine. Her seat found, she admires the stage before the ceremony starts, remarking that Mr. Adams was right about it. It didn't resemble that drab, unprepared hall whatsoever! While she enjoys the speech itself, Trista stopped short of actually contributing. Still, the motivation was nice, and the Letourneau's were having a lot more fun with this than expected. She wasn't sure how truthful they were being about reaching such Elite levels with "a little hard work", but the message was an optimistic one. When they call out Chaika by name, and then Faron right after, she is surprised, and can't help but feel anxious in their stead; not only being singled out, but on the first day! It sounded like they had enough stress, did "the target of every motivated or competitive student" really need to be added to the list? She also couldn't help but wonder if they had pins of their own. Not that she'd have a chance to check, with how popular they both seemed to be. ...also, Vess would probably kill her if she tried to ask. Or search for them. Or... anything else relating to them. After the ceremony, Trista plans to rent a book on caring for Porygon from the library. After that, she'll head back to the Dorm before curfew ends, and ideally get started on reading it. Alex sat down somewhere in the middle of the crowd, which he quickly realized was a mistake. In his haste to get here, he hadn't put Kabby back in his ball, merely picked up the rocky scuttler and held him in his arms. So long as no one noticed he was holding a FOSSIL he should be okay, but Kabby was another story... He did his best to keep his pokemon under control and not scrambling all over nearby people throughout the speech. Alex wondered briefly if the siblings on stage knew that he was only here because Trinity had gotten him in... Or would that even matter to them? Either way, Alex's eyes were locked onto Audrey, deep in thought. As a member of the battler half of the school, his end goal SHOULD be her... But he wasn't sure if he wanted to be the head of the Elite Four. He'd much prefer to just run a gym near Mea, studying the past in his off time... But that was a thought for AFTER he graduated, of course. However, aiming at the top might not be a bad thing... As for Cole, Alex was indifferent. He didn't really follow contests, but the guy seemed nice enough. A people person, that was for sure. The pokemon with him... Eeveelutions, huh... Like the Sylveon he had met earlier that day. He couldn't help but wonder if Eevees were coming back into style. If they were, perhaps he could find out if they had a rock-type evolution? That'd be a fun challenge, he was sure. As the pokemon showed off, Alex let out an appreciative whistle, his hands too preoccupied with his Kabuto to clap as he wanted to. The Psycho cut was impressive, but the combo move from the Contest Pokemon was what caught his attention. So you could do things like that in a contest? Perhaps he'd give them another look... When the bunnygirl walked on stage, one of the students near Alex decided to scream so loud it nearly blew out Alex's hearing. He winced, looking at the stage. Was she THAT popular? He wasn't even sure what she did... From the sounds of it, she did some music, so he'd make a note to look her up later. The tactician, however, seemed much more Alex's speed. Calm, collected, and intelligent. Perhaps a friend, maybe even, dare he think it, a rival? Alex wasn't exactly versed in strategy, but with being a Trinity Agent now, he had a feeling he'd be doing MANY things he hadn't thought of doing before. Alex was also a fan of the Riolu. Just a personal preference. As the assembly let out, Alex made a beeline to the library. He had a bit of studying to do before he trained Kabby. He had an idea in mind, something he'd wanted to try for a long time... Audrey Gen Ed Roll z3TbUaJ62d6

As the announcement went through the hidden speakers to report to the assembly hall, Vess perked up slightly. It'd probably just be boring, but most likely it would be far less boring than waiting around for it to start. As Citadel rolls up, the corner of her lip curled up. She had made the right choice. "Come on then, Citadel." She motions with two fingers for him to follow her and walks out in the main area. She waits around for Elizabeth to appear before leaving with her. " Get the room in a better state, or should I drop by later to help?"As she walks back into the contest hall, she looks around with mild interest. Looked nicer than before, but she didn't see the point. Pokemon were for battling, not for beauty. They were rough, wild creatures. To try to domesticate and pretty them up seemed slightly insulting to her. But maybe that was just her hatred for prissy contest centric Imperians that had been slowly building during the day coming out. She found a seat with Elizabeth, and any of the other dormmates who might have joined them, and sat down quietly, waiting to start. As the Champion and High Coordinator took the stage, Vess's eyes narrowed as she observed the woman that she wanted to be. She could care less about Cole, Audrey was the one to pay attention to here. She leaned down for a moment to Citadel, whispering to him and pointing at Audrey. "That's who we want to get strong enough to beat." As the Champion's Absol releases it's attack above the crowd, Vess watches it closely, how it moves, how it acts, any information she could pull from it. At the end of it all, she knew that at the very least she wanted an Absol herself. She didn't particularly want to be a copy of the woman, but that was pokemon that anyone would want. When Cole's pokemon show off, Vess can't quite keep the unimpressed look off of her face. Look at how impressive your pokemon are, throwing attacks into an empty room. That must have taken so much skill to hit such a nonexistent target. But, it seems the speech wasn't quite over yet, as apparently the two bigshots have to show off their favorites. She almost felt bad for whoever were chosen. Whoever they were, they'd have some massive targets on their backs. As Chaika came up onto the stage, Vess suddenly gripped the arms of her chair tightly as she attempted to hide her excitement. Chaika was here. Chaika was here? CHAIKA WAS HERE! She could barely contain her excitement, she'd listened to Useless Words at least a hundred times, if not more when it came out, and she had been following every song released and every show she had been on that she could catch. She made AMAZING music. Vess's excitement was suddenly through the roof, but she tried to hide it as best as she could. Her love for pop music wasn't exactly something that she liked to openly display. But either way, this day had just gotten a whole lot better. She slowly attempted to calm herself down as her own competition was introduced. Faron, hmm? A supposed tactical genius? He represented everything she disliked about Olmia, and probably the reason she was rejected in the first place. If you weren't famous, if you didn't have connections, if you weren't something special, you were dirt to them. Well, she'd prove them wrong, and she'd do it by competing with, and beating, this supposed favorite. Bring it on, Faron. Guile to try and hide her excitement at seeing Chaika. Spending and AP 3d6+1
As soon as the assembly was over, Vess pulled out her pokedex and looked up Absol. She wanted to know everything she could about the pokemon, but most specifically, she wanted to know where she could get one. After she had finished that, she turned back to Elizabeth. "I'm going to head to the library, I want to look for some books." Then, she turned, Citadel (hopefully) still following her, and headed off to the library. Upon arriving and seeing Trista, she nods in greeting to the girl. "Enjoy the ceremony?"2d6+1·2d6·3d6·3d6+1

“Awesome, let’s go.” Gregory said as the announcement went off, opting to simple hold his Horsea during the assembly rather than put her away in her Pokeball.
Gregory was quite amazed at how well done the contest hall had become. It was all very fancy and very pretty looking, and it was probably the best and fanciest looking and room Gregory had ever been in. What was less cool was all the people in said room, as Gregory had never really been used to such large crowds and thus was a little stressed out by all the people. He found a quieter seat near the edge of one of the rows and took it, not really taking note of who he was seated next to. He tried his best to make sure both he and Maria had a good view of the stage.
As the speakers entered the stage Gregory was mostly lost on who they were. The coward cheering made him realize they were probably people of importance, but he simply didn’t recognize the two and had to pick out their identity through what they were saying. He vaguely recognized the name “Audrey”, but not enough to know who “Audrey” was.
In fact, Gregory found himself paying less and less attention to the assembly. He remembered vaguely raising his hands when the guy asked who here was doing battles, mostly because Greg knew he was going to have to fight if he wanted to keep his Pokemon. That was actually something Gregory hadn't of put much thought into; the idea of having to do battle with other people. The only real knowledge of Pokemon battling was the stories his Grandfather used to tell him, as he was a man who did battle in years long past. Outside of that, Gregory knew next to nothing about Pokemon battling; he had yet to even see a full, proper battle at this point in his life! He looked down at his Horsea to see how she was doing, thinking of what they would have to do in the coming months. All this talk of battling and school and that Trinity junk made him a bit worried about what was to come, but Gregory figured it would probably all work out in the end.
The two speakers put on a bit of a show with their Pokemon, which was cool and all, but at this point Gregory was full heartedly disinterested in the assembly. He thought back to his home, to his parents and to his friends. How were they doing, where they all resting after a long day? Must of been awfully quiet in that sleepy town. Gregory wondered whether or not Maria, or perhaps Maria’s parents, had ever lived by the waters around the town. Maybe he had seen them swim by in days of distant past.
Gregory found himself thinking of the relaxing waves back home, also. Long grass blowing in the breeze as a fishing lure bobbed up and down peacefully in the water as fish played in the water. It was always such a quiet and peaceful, and a huge contrast to the noisy and chaotic room he was in right now. But even the suddenly loud screams of the coward couldn't disturb Gregory at this point, as he found himself slowly closing his eyes, drifting off to sleep. A miracle, really, being able to find rest in such a loud room full of excited kids and Pokemon. But it had been a long day and Greg did need the rest. It was what he was best at, after all.

Retroactively adding in pictures for Audrey and Cole. ColeAudrey Lyn:Thinking back, you remember a bit about the Letourneaus, but not much. From what you remember, Cole and and Audrey were the first ever students of Olmia. They were pretty much the Faron and Chaika of their year. They also became the Top Trainer and Top Coordinator, the very first, in fact. If you remember right, Cole and Audrey both took on the gym on their second day, but only Audrey beat it. Looking at Chaika makes you remember a bit about her. A few of your friends liked her music, and perhaps they dragged you to one of her concerts once. You remember the name of her breakout hit song, Useless Words. As the room empties out, you watch as Chaika and the High Coordinator leave the stage, probably to wait until all of her rabid fans leave the area. You’re able to use this time to search her up and find her official website. You see a list of her popular songs with the top three being Useless Words, Trigger, and Love Game. Also on the website are some choreography videos and a link to Chaika’s personal blog. Clicking around, you’re able to wade through the overwhelmingly cute selfies, photos, updates, and promos, to get to Chaika’s personal information. She’s from Nix, and you can guess that her favorite color must be purple. You can’t see her age listed anywhere, though, and everything else seems to be too far gone. By the time you finish up, there are only a few stragglers left in the contest hall. Zo:You search your memory for anything related to the Letourneaus, and you don’t remember much. To have beaten the gym that early on in her career… When you think about Chaika, you realize you know more about her than you thought. She’s known for her cute/futuristic image and technologic sound. Chaika’s music is a mix of rock, pop, and techno, making a quite unique sound. If you recall correctly, she’s from Nix, a town also in Vinea. Her most popular song is called Useless Words. You have successfully joined the Drama Club! You will be able to choose a perk at the first meeting. While you browse in the library, several others enter it. Alex joins you, as well as three girls. The first is a bit shorter than you, and has long blonde hair and glasses. A litwick bobs behind her. The second is a tall, but very unassuming girl dressed in all black with black hair to match. The third girl is a bit shorter than you as well, has short black hair. The odd thing about the third girl, though, is all of her clothing looks extremely worn. A Ferroseed you assume to be her’s is rolling in circles around her. It takes you around twenty minutes to find a book on the occult, and when you do, it isn’t much to be excited about. It’s a short book entitled “What Goes Bump In the Night”. If you choose to check out the book, it is the same as the How To Avoid Being Spooked. You can look around more, but if you do, please roll perception. Trista:Thinking back, you’re able to remember a bit about the Letourneaus. From what you remember, Cole and and Audrey were the first ever students of Olmia. They were pretty much the Faron and Chaika of their year. To have beaten the gym that early on in her career… Chaika, though, you don’t even recognize. You have no idea who she is, or why everyone is screaming over her. From what you can tell, she’s just a girl in a fancy outfit. Faron, on the other hand, you remember quite a bit about. He’s from Impero, and he’s still quite young. He’s only 16. After his initial news stories, you remember hearing that his parents were actually quite involved in the military, so he perhaps isn’t as smart as Zaphros was made to believe. Maybe you’ll find out… Heading to the library, you end up meeting out up with Vess and Elizabeth. You walk into the library, and see two guys already there. They’re both shorter than you, and the first has brown hair and a suave black blazer/ red dress-shirt combo. The second has black hair and a pair of glasses, and looks a bit weak. If you want to look for a specific book, please roll Perception. Alex:During the speech, you have to keep a firm grasp on Kabby. He keeps trying to squirm out of your arms, but you manage to keep him held tight. While you hold Kabby still, you think about Audrey. She’s certainly a fierce opponent, and she’s gotten herself in a lot of trouble from not backing down from her opinions. She’s also the current owner of the Letourneau Corporation, so she technically both owns and partially runs Olmia. If you remember right, she took on the gym at Olmia on only the second day, and won. You also heard about a rumor saying that she had an Eevee like Cole as well, and quickly evolved it into an Umbreon. The problem was, the Eevee didn’t like battling. She found it “too cuddly and docile”. She somehow caught an Absol, and released it. Audrey claims her Absol Victoria was her starter, but there’s a rumor that Cole’s Umbreon, Phoenix, was actually her starter. You don’t know much about Cole, but you remember a bit about him. Aside from being astoundingly charming, he’s also quite kind. You’ve heard stories about him taking in released pokemon that no one wanted anymore and making them part of his main team. Cole’s signature pokemon, his trio of Eeveelutions, are actually part of a family tradition. You don’t remember the actual history of the thing, but every Letourneau family member is given an Eevee. Cole, for some reason, happens to have three. For some reason, you remember much more about Chaika than Cole. She’s known for her cute/futuristic image and technologic sound. Chaika’s music is a mix of rock, pop, and techno, making a quite unique sound. If you recall correctly, she’s from Nix, a town also in Vinea. Her most popular song is called Useless Words. After the ceremony, you make your way up to the library, and notice you aren’t alone. Zo is there, along with three girls. If you wish to look for a specific book, please roll Perception. Vess: “I think Raina and I have it under control.” Elizabeth quietly replied.
Thinking back, you’re able to remember a bit about the Letourneaus. To have beaten the gym that early on in her career… As you watch Absol, you aren’t able to get a feel for it’s training. It could be a mix, but you can’t narrow it down to just one thing. You do spot some interesting things about the Absol, as you watch her. You’re almost sure she does some sort of smirk while looking at Cole’s pokemon, and you think Victoria has a particular confident swagger about her while she walks. During the rest of the speech, she walks around the stage, sizing up the other pokemon and eventually returning back to Audrey, miming attacks at the audience. You have learned Victoria the Absol’s nature! Her nature is Sassy. You manage to keep your inner fangirl under control, despite freaking out. No one seems to notice your internal screaming. When you take out your Pokedex and scan the Absol, the pleasant female voice of the Pokedex begins to rattle off information on the Pokemon. "Absol, The Disaster Pokemon. Absol live in steep mountainous regions, and rarely venture down into areas inhabited by humans, but should an Absol be seen by humans, it is said that catastrophe is soon to follow. Would you like to know more about this Pokemon?"
Upon selecting yes, the Pokedex reads out about the habitat information. "Absol, while not common, has been spotted in Vinea and Asper. It is most commonly caught in Solis. It is known to frequent any mountainous areas."Also on the page, is move data, pictures, battle strategy ideas, contest strategy ideas, tutor move lists, and breeding information At the end of the speech, Elizabeth opts to join you to go to the library. “I need to talk to Mr. Adams about Book Club anyway.”Citadel rolls and hops up the stairs after you, and once you get to the library, Citadel starts rolling around you in circles. You join Trista in the library, but you also see two other guys in the library as well. You walk into the library, and see two guys already there. Seems like you weren’t the only tired one… Looking around, you see you’re one of the small group of people still in the contest hall. Most everyone else is standing around in small groups talking, but there a few others still sitting. A few seats ahead of you, there’s a girl with dark purple hair sitting and looking at her Pokedex.

Alex made his way to the bookshelves, nodding. Quite unusual... If every member of their family was given an Eevee, it would lend credibility to that rumor. In addition, the speed at which she took down the gym at the academy was astounding. Could he do that? Only time would tell, he supposed. Maybe he should train Kabby tonight, and see how he stacked up in the morning? That was... an idea, he had no idea if it was a good one. He'd think about it in the morning, at least. Cole seemed like a nice enough person. Alex sincerely hoped he WAS one of the good people, rather than just an act. The oddity of him having three Eevees did not pass Alex by. One was likely the one from his sister... But the third? Perhaps another sibling that was unknown, but it was too early to jump to such conclusions. He'd investigate on his own time later. Chaika was an interesting tidbit. He might even try to listen to her music later. He wasn't sure WHY he knew that much about her, perhaps one of the researchers at the university had been a fan. She might be interesting to look into though, and she seemed to know Cole rather well. Perhaps he could learn more about him through her. Alex gives a polite wave to Zo, since they're rooming in the same dorms, and gives the girls a nod each, moving towards an empty table. He cast an eye over the shelves, not looking for anything in particular tonight, rather getting a feel for the layout. Right now, he had another idea in mind. He had spent some time learning how to train pokemon at the University at Mea, and was wondering if he couldn't try his skills out a bit more. So he was going to make some flyers. He sat at one of the desks, keeping Kabby close by as he began to sketch out a basic flyer. Command to keep Kabby with me. rSNzL4_C3d6 3d6

Gregory sleepily looked around the room as he rubbed his eyes with a yawn. He wasn’t planning on falling asleep during the assembly, it just sort of happened. He looked down to see Maria asleep in his lap, a sight that brought a pleasant smile to Gregory’s face.
Gregory stood up, trying his best to not wake his Horsea, and looking around the room once more. He was a little disoriented now that the room was mostly empty and lite again, but more important he didn’t know the time. Had he fallen asleep for twelve minutes or twelve hours? Was it the next day, was school in sessions? Was he late for class!?! Probably not, but Gregory still wanted to know the time.
He noticed the dark-haired girl with a Pokedex just a few rows up sitting on her lonesome and, not really realizing he could just pull out his Pokedex or phone to get the time, figured she could tell him the time. He walked up behind her and got her attention with his questions, trying his best not to startle her. “Umm, excuse me miss, but I was like, totally catching some Z’s during that assembly and kind of lost track of time. You wouldn’t, like, happen to know what time it is or anything, would you?”

Mulling over this year's star students, still uneasy about their being called out like that, Trista was glad to see familiar faces. To sate her curiosity, she asks, " Hey Vess, Elizabeth? Do either of you know who that 'Chaika' girl was? I don't know why the crowd put up such a fuss over her..." When she has the time to, Trista will look for anything concerning care of Porygons. Failing that, she'll try to find a book on making Pokemon more obedient. RrULMyc72d6 2d6

Lyn was surprised to hear somebody since she had been engrossed in her reading. She looked up at the guy and raised an eyebrow. He should have a pokedex of his own so why was he asking her? Was it some way for him to try and break the ice or something? She sighed, slightly annoyed and not at all interested. The man didn't sound too bright and she debated throwing a sarcastic reply out, but then remembered her realization about the student council and knowing she would need to be as positive as possible.
Despite how she felt inwardly she forced a smile. "Oh its about 8:20ish." She said. "Hi I'm Lyn. Did your pokedex get damaged?" She asked trying to sound genuine.

The girl question as to whether or not his Pokedex was damaged made Gregory realize that he probably could've pulled that thing out to check the time. At least Gregory hadn’t slept for a day in the contest hall, but now he felt like a bit of a fool. “Oh, well it is a bit damaged, but it still works fine and all. So I would of pulled it out, buttttttttttt....” Gregory dragged out the “but” as he thought of a good excuse. “...I would have to put Maria here down, and that might of waken her up. Little gal’s having a nap, you see, and I wouldn’t want to wake her up is all.” Gregory looked down to his Horsea, shaking her ever so lightly as to not wake her up but still draw Lyn’s attention to the Pokemon.
Now that she was facing him Gregory was able to get a better impression of Lyn. She looked fairly normal, if a bit fancy, and she came off as a pretty nice girl. In a world full of people just ready to give sarcastic replies to simple questions, like Gregory just had, it was nice knowing at least one girl was focused on being helpful. “But yeah, my name’s Gregory, and the Horsea is named Maria, like I said, so if you ever see her causing trouble, you know who to yell for.” Gregory chuckled a bit before continuing. “Thanks for getting me the time and all, and I guess I’ll be seeing you around with us being new students and all. Cool to meet you, Lyn, cool to meet you.”
With his goodbyes, Gregory headed back to the male dorms to mostly just to sit around and relax. He did have something he wanted to do with Maria, but he opted to just let her sleep for as long as she wanted. He could always do the thing he wanted to do later, anyhow.

As Trista asks her about Chaika, Vess tries as best as she can to not totally flip out and fangirl over her. Having already kept her cool earlier in the day, she manages to pull it together again and remain rather unassuming. "I think she's some up and coming popstar, I recognize the name. Probably why people were so obsessed with her." Trying to avoid any more Chaika conversation, Vess opens up her pokedex and begins to wander off, calling over her shoulder to Elizabeth and Trista as she does so. "Let me know if either of you are doing anything interesting with the rest of the evening, I don't have any plans, but would want to do something. Just going to look for some books first." As she walks through the library shelves, she looks specifically for books on battling tactics and the like, browsing the pokedex entry on Ferroseed as she does so, especially interested in looking at the combat tactics discussions like she had seen with the Absol. Perception for specific books. LYEfRDGY3d6
As she finishes her search and heads back towards the main portion of the library, she spots the kid printing out the posters, sizing him up with a look. He didn't seem particularly impressive to her. Him or his rock. She walks over towards him, curious, reading the posters and giving and incredulous snort. "You think people will actually pay you for this?"3d6

Alex looks towards the source of the snort, realizing it was one of the girls he saw earlier. He grinned sheepishly, shrugging his shoulder. "You know, I'm not sure yet. But putting these posters up will be a very good way to find out." It was a simple poster, stating he could retrain abilities and add some PokeEdges, as well as regular training. There was also a little drawing of Kabby in the corner, to brighten it up. He was standing in front of the copier, waiting for the papers to finish printing out. "Are you interested?" He continues, looking her over. Nothing TOO impressive.. But looks can be deceiving. He held Kabby in his arms, not wanting to shut the poor thing in its pokeball quite yet. Millenia of being a fossil had probably made him a bit stir-crazy, that's all. He could understand the fossil pokemon's eagerness to explore, he just had to be taught the proper time and place.

Why in the Distorted world do I know this much about Chaika? I don't even like pop music. Whatever, not important. In the end she, and Faron as well, are just both another student here. Only with more expectations. That should be fun. After succesfully signing up for Drama Club, he heads over to the library, Lipwig still perched on his shoulder, and begins scouring the library for anything on the occult. After twenty minutes or so, he sighs, returning the singular interesting book he'd found to the shelve. "Damn, drivel. Though I suppose there might be something of use in it. I'll look closer later. For now, more pressing matters," he mutters to himself, before walking over to a secluded table and carefully writing down some words of power on a scrap of paper, imbueing it with magic. Having done this, he nods to Alex before spotting the three girls that had entered. He walks over to them, smiling. "Good evening ladies. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Zodor Mayka, but please, call me Zo. And this is my partner, Lipwig" His accent is clear, and he lays it on just a tad more to make it extra noticable. Saves time on saying where you're from at the very least. Charm roll for first impressions: UJycUD603d6+1 Spending 1 AP 3d6+1

When the boy left, Lyn closed her pokedex and stood up and stretched. Well, she needed to find out more about this student council thing so she decided to make her way toward where club sign-ups were and ask some questions. Mainly she wanted to find out how to sign up, how to run, and what she needed to do. Not rolling yet because not sure of need a VP before can sign up or not

Thinking that the crowd had been a little too excited over and Up-and-coming, Trista takes a quick look at the pokemon care books, returning to where Elizabeth was when she finished... In time for an interruption.
A little surprised by the formal introduction, not to mention that someone would choose them, of all people to talk to, she responds after a quick glance at Elizabeth, "...Hello Zodor and Lipwig. My name is Trista. Did you need something? I'm afraid we don't work in the library."

Zo cringes ever so slightly at her calling him Zodor, but smiles. "Nothing at all, and please, do call me Zo. I merely wanted to greet you and introduce myself. This school is small and we will be here for the better part of the next 18 months, so I figured I might as wel get to know as many people as I can, as soon as I can. And well met, Trista. And what might your name be, milady?" The last is said to the girl with the glasses.

Alex:As you create your flyers and copy them, Kabby at least stays on the table, scampering around from edge to edge. Trista:After your quick questions about Chaika, you’re able to slip away with Vess . You’re able to easily find a book on Porygons in the Pokemon Care section. Skimming through it, you’re able to see some choice advice, information on diet, discipline, and a lot of other miscellaneous care information. You return back to Elizabeth as she wanders the library. If you check out this book, it is a Study Manual that, with Novice General Edu, you gain the Skill Stunt, Pokemon Education (Porygons). Greg:You walk back to the dorms, and Maria seems to wake up as you walk back. This time, she stays in your arms instead of wiggling out. It doesn’t take very long to talk back, and when you do, Dakota and Xander are there, but so is someone you’ve never seen before. The kid has black hair and grey eyes. He’s tall, and of medium build. He’s sitting down on the couch, and wearing a simple gray sweater and black slacks. He just looks bored. Actually, now that you think about it, Xander and this new kid seem quite similar. He must be the one you were waiting for to pick roommates. “Oh! Greg! Guess what!? We get to be in the same dorm as Faron! Isn’t that super cool!?” Dakota looks like he’s about to burst from excitement. “Please...I’m not that important.” Faron explains, not looking up from his Pokedex. “But you’re soooo smart!” Faron simply rolls his eyes. Vess:Vess quickly finds the book she’s looking for amongst others of it’s type. It’s simply called, “The Tactician’s Guide”. If you check out this book, it is a Study Manual that, with Novice General Edu, you gain the Skill Stunt, Combat or General Education (Battle Strategy). The Skill Stunt is given to the higher of either Combat or General Education. Upon clicking the link to a forum discussion on strategies on battling with a Ferroseed, you see a few topics on different techniques. Zo:As you introduce yourself to the girls, you notice one of them is obviously uncomfortable. “Um...N-Nice to meet you. I have to go talk to Mr. Adams!” She says nervously before almost running to the librarian’s office and knocking on the door. Her Litwick floats around you for a minute or two, getting the attention of Lipwig. He bounces from foot to foot, watching the thing float around. Then, the Litwick floats back over to the girl. Lyn:Walking into the main office, you see thirteen nicely framed photos of each year’s Top Trainers and Top Coordinator with that year’s High Coordinator and Elite Four members. There’s a bulletin board and a small table with a few pieces of paper on it off to the side. Besides that, the room has a few plush chairs and a blonde woman sits at a large desk. “May I help you with something?” After you explain your questions to her, she nods. “To sign up to run for Student Council president, you have to sign up with your vice-president. After you sign up, you can spend your free-time campaigning, or making materials to promote yourself. There will be a variety of events happening during the two months you’re able to campaign in, including speeches. When you and your running mate decide to sign up, just go over to that little desk there, and put your names down under “President” and “Vice-President”, which is on the Student Council page. Make sure you write down who you’re running with!”
