The path to the peak was through the boulder fields, a large barren expanse where one could be easily spotted. The crunch of stone and scrabble of claws on rock continued moment to moment. Queen took a step or two towards the clearing, her expression fierce.

“Ok, I hear you. Sure.” Muku rolls her eyes. “Treasure ship with treasure thing. Your family treasure. But weren’t you an egg? We haven’t met any other swords. How do you know about this? How do I know about this?” Even as the anchor monster pulls itself from the depths, Muku takes a moment to simply stare at the sword. That was a good question. A very good question. She began to think about it. No, no thinking about this. Only madness lie that way. Lowering her center of gravity, she wields Talon before her and levels her claw at their foe. “Ok. So. We’re here to take what’s yours... Whatever you are. Take up your weapon, we gonna fight.”
Seeing no action, Muku rattles her saber, which is to say, slowly draws Talon from their protective casing. Talon's coat takes a deep, silver sheen. With Muku's encouragement, the silver turns a light scarlet upon the edge. Her lip curls. They were ready to fight. Muku doesn't take an action. Yet.
Talon uses Iron Defense. Muku activates Stat Link and raises their Atk by one stage!

There was an intense envy gnawing at Terra while the time passed. Until Queen's movement pulled her attention away. Right, they were here for her. Don't get distracted by this. A deep breath in, then out before the trainer would follow the pokemon's lead. They were competent, and had back up in the rest of her team if the situation became dire. So there wasn't really a deep fear of being seen.
This was fine, just another obstacle in their journey to find the drawing source for the Nidorina. Eyes pulling away from the boulder eater and moving to the path that Queen made forward. However she did glance back now and then when there was a deep satisfying crunch.

The sound of rubble shifting and a playful "Where do you think you are going?!" Snag Terra's attention but the creature seems far too intent and busy with its meal. The crunching takes a long time to fade, leaving her hungry as she reaches the peak.
A series of fluted columns hold up a flat stone crossbeam. Rows of stone benches descend into a bowl like depression. At the center appears to be a stone possessing all the colors of the rainbow. Queen watches it possessively.

A snarl of seaweed and rootlike protrusions dig into the surrounding rock. The lanterns flare brightly, more of those eerie purple wisps of fire fill the air. The largest of the lanterns grinning eagerly from the mast. The anchor gives a spin on its chain and draws nearer the boat, hanging in the air.
(Ingrain, Ghost Lights, and Swords Dance as standard actions.)

Muku roots herself on a leafy branch. Eyes on the horizon, trees upon trees, a sparkling sea of green before an ocean of azure blue. Was she bird? Was she human? None of that mattered in battle. A vision, a sight approaches. A foe in the distance. Something to fight. Something to win. To live followed the inevitable truth. Something else had to die. Taking up her talon, she poises to spring. She takes in one final, true breath. "Now. Here we go." She kicks off the cave floor, dashing forward as she would have once, wings alight and claws bared. Diving, she rolls into a flying leap, soaring over the anchor as she unleashes a hectic strike against the lantern hanging there before her. Drawn and held behind her back, Talon spins defensively, it's red sheen upgrading to an angry scarlet. It pauses just a moment, coiled in anticipation when it draws first blood. The battle begins. Muku Splashes(if she can, +2 Eva) and uses Acrobatics on the Lantern!

The voice had her stop for a moment, tempted to turn and reply to said question as a challenge. But no, not yet. She promised Queen they would do this now. And now is more important. They can come back to this after.
A deep breath let out between her lips in a slow huff, as she continues upwards. Then as the scene was brought into her vision, there is an intrigued expression at the choice of architecture. Finally the stone, it was a beautiful stone, entrancing in a sense. Definitely looked like it would be a delicious morsel if she were able to handle eating it.
A look to Queen and its clear that this is what they were here for. "This is it, yeah?" Terra speaks while scanning the rows and downward path before they began down it. It seemed to be in a pretty special spot, one that felt like there was an importance to it.

As Muku dives into the fray with reckless abandon the motes of purple fire are drawn to her, casting long shadows from her body in all directions that are drawn away by the strange wisps. Muku is Haunted (treat as Burned but bypassing effects such as Flash Fire). With a solid impact she cracks the glass on the smug lantern, and a fog rises from the deck. All Combat Stages are reset to default. A mass of slick weeds rooted to the deck curls around Muku's arms, and down over Talon, dripping and obscuring most of it minus it's eye. Muku and Talon gain the Grass Typing. A length of chain lashes about Talon, trying to restrict the weapon, but it simply phases through it as though it weren't there.
(Talon takes 53 Steel Physical, Muku is Haunted, both have Drowned Man's Curse.)

On reaching the pedestal, Queen got up on her hind legs and cocked her head, the stone's colors reflected in her eyes, but she does not move to take or touch it yet. Terra notices that the distant crack and crunch of stone down the mountainside has gone oppressively silent.

The bright sheen of Talon is immediately missed by Muku, and greatly diminishes the effect that she was trying to pull with them. It does not however, diminish that it still happens. Spinning on her heel, Muku and Talon break into a horrifying whirlwind of steel and bird girl. Everything in the immediate vicinity, sans themselves, must brace themselves against the ghastly strike. As they break out of the spin, Muku throws another leg out to try and beat up something. A little of that red sheen returns to Talon's form, though their disappointment is palpable. You just sorta... Felt it. You know? Talon is going to use Shadow Sneak, targeting everyone important in melee range by making use of Stat Maneuver. Up to three targets, not counting Muku. At the end of the turn, Muku will use Stat Link to rebuff their attack. Muku is either going to attack the Lamp or the bushes; prioritizing whoever still standing. No Guard is in effect for Talon, making them easier to hit with the trade-off of hitting MUCH more effectively.

"What are you waiting for? You want take it," Terra comments noticing the lack of claiming the stone. Then pausing as the silence reached her ears. That did not make her feel comfortable. The trainer now keeping an eye out around the outsides of the area, just in case the stone cruncher had followed up after them. "Be ready, we might have company soon."

With a fell swipe of her weapon, Muku tore through the air, the purple light wreathing Talon blowing the wisps clear. The blade severed the anchor cleanly in two, snuffed out the lanterns, and scored the mask. Backlit from the cave entrance, everything seemed suddenly more dire, as though a challenge had been answered. A human, though in a strange shade of off-blue, and see through, wearing clothes that were funny by anyone's standards in the form of a long coat with big buttons and some kind of triangle hat moved through the door to the small house that still stood on the back end of the ship. In his hands, under a sopping beard and pallid face, were a pair of cutlass. Each bore a wing motif along the guard, facing outward. In the center of the decoration was the same sort of baleful eye that Talon bore.

Queen waited, and waited. The towering Tyranitar appeared at the top of the stairs. At the exit whence they came. "I don't know why you came here, but you're going to die for it. Coveting my treasure." While making eye contact, Queen mounted the pedestal, snatching the item up in her jaws.

"There you are," Terra says more to herself as she sees the large pokemon finally appear. Her body tensing as she prepares for battle, muscles strengthening in her position. "Queen, get ready! Its time to defend ourselves. I don't think we will be doing that." The girl not even taking the time to realize she was being spoken to due to the threat to their well being. "Keep your distance for now, Sting 'em!" Terra uses Work Up and tags Tyranitar. Queen keeps some distance between Tyranitar and goes with a Poison Sting. Terra is between Queen and Tyranitar. Muku let the moment hang there for a moment. She had wanted to say something pithy to Talon like, 'See? You did fine enough. Stop being so pouty.' But she was utterly and completely interrupted in her thoughts by the appearance the other in the room. She stands across the deck and stares in awe at the figure standing there. A long cloak like wings. An impressive crest upon their head. A pair of talons in either hand. They had all of the gait of a warrior from a long forgotten time and eyes like a raptor's fixed on the horizon. A bird of prey. Perched and waiting. A kindred spirit? Maybe once. But this person wasn't meant to be here anymore. She could sense that, Talon was telling her that. This man had to move on so she could move up. Raising Talon to her chin, Muku presses the blade against her head and bows with all seriousness. Talon held before her, her feet swish backwards into an easy stance. Her eyes soar up the blade as she calls out to her foe, "Show me! Show me as you were in life and I will give you death!"Muku is gonna Glare at the pirate.

The spirit raised one of its blades to lock eyes with Muku, reflecting the girl's fierce gaze before giving it an expert twirl behind himself kipping up onto one of the ruined pieces of the mast before taking a cleaving swipe at Muku that the girl manages to narrowly avoid with the specter now in proximity.

Queen's volley of pink spikes shatter up and down the Tyranitar's shell as it charges her down, latching its maw down over the back of her neck and begins to worry her roughly to and fro.

As wood and debris shatter in the place where Muku once stood, a quick, broad sense of danger overtook her. This person knew bird tactics. That normally wouldn't be a problem. But her skin, her flesh was still covered in an angry, invasive green. This, coupled with her rapidly exhausting state told her simply that she wasn't meant for the long fight in this battle. If she took a hit, there was a good chance she wasn't getting back up from it. Well. If she died, she died. Just had to keep that from happening. In her right hand, Talon swiftly and angrily throws a pair of strikes... Shadow Sneak!
AC 2 - Rolled 17
Damage - 64 Ghost Physical One after the other. Muku immediately follows up with her own strike with an angry acrobatic strike. Unfortunately however, her leg flies incredibly wide into the deck and she's forced to improvised immediately to avoid utter disaster. Bouncing off the wood, she leaps back from the fray. This kind of avoidance would be key if she wanted to live. Maneuverability was all she had over her foe now as she lands a few feet away. Next turn, Talon throws another hit. Shadow Sneak!
AC 2 - Rolled 14
Damage - 63 Ghost Physical
---
Muku uses Acrobatics and leaps back with a Splash for that very important extra EVA.
She rolls a 1 on the Acrobatics. Welp.

"You can't just ignore me!" Terra growls out angrily seeing as the Pokemon starts to try and pass her. Fist coming round from the far side and slamming it into the hard skin in response. Queen gives out a shocked cry at the bite down into her back, squirming and thrashing about to get a better angle. Back needles stabbing into the Tyranitar's mouth injecting the toxicity directly. "Don't let it get away with that. Kick, kick!" Terra instructs keeping her cool at this. Then coming in behind the Tyranitar to attack it now that it's upon them. Slamming her left fist now into its back to make it known she won't be ignored. Terra uses Rock Smash for her AoO. AC- 4 vs 2+eva Damage- 21 Fighting +5 after from Expert Belt
Queen activates Poison Point and poisons Tyranitar.
Queen uses Double Kick on Tyranitar, using 2 momentum to roll an 11 on the first AC roll. Under training/orders has +2 to the second AC roll.
AC Rolls- first roll- 11, second roll - 20 3+eva Damage if One Hit- 36 Fighting Damage if Two Hit- 42 Fighting
Terra comes from behind to flank Tyranitar and attack with Brick Break. AC 9 vs 2+eva Damage- 30 +5 after from Expert Belt Light Screen, Reflect and Aurora Veil may not be activated in response to Brick Break.

Still firmly latched on despite powerful blows to its rocky carapace, the Tyranitar smashes queen into the temple floor, off the pedestal, against Terra, thrashing about in a fit of rage.
(Terra and Queen each take 60 normal physical. Hold Queen's action if this drops her under half.)
