The others merely grin at Victoria silently. They know what they did, and it was pretty clear that Victoria was into it. If she wasn't, that would have been made clear.

She turns and goes to serve actual dinner onto the table. The night is spent relaxing and healing wounds and the next morning she's already up and breakfast is out, in order to get an early start to get to Ecruteak and talk with the sisters!

Despite this being her vacation time, Whitney is still up around dawn for her morning run. Gotta keep the routine up if she wants to maintain these abs you like so much.

Once she's done with her training, breakfast is served by cutie-pie chef Victoria! She claims that 'she's watching them closely' but still happily serves breakfast.
Once that's done, she gets ready for the group to head out to go see the sistas!

May schlorps up her breakfast in the usual manner, which is briefly distracting for Whitney; her having never seen it before. After gaping for a moment, she shakes her head and resumes eating as well. Once everyone's finished, it's off to see the wizard sisters!

A hop, skip, and a jump later, the party arrives in Ecruteak City. Making their way over to the 'tourist area' outside of the Bell Tower, Victoria approaches one of the monks keeping an eye on the tourists and barring the way to the tower proper. A quick inquiry has him sending a message off to the tower to see if Aima is about. As luck would have it, she arrives only a few minutes later. If asked, Aima says that Miyako is out and about in the city, doing her community service hours.

She kind 'hoped' that Miyako would be there to see about talking to her again, but oh well maybe it's for the best.
"Hey so I actually came for your pocket dimension expertise, if you've got a moment? So I've found more areas like Ilex, and in Union Cave, there was was a big pokemon I've never seen before, and it moved through stone like it was water, and seemed to have an ability that turned anything to stone. I missed it but May saw the attack it used hit nearby lake and turned the WATER to stone. And... well we saw a few VERY realistic looking statues of people down there."
She makes a face.
"I mean I hoped it isn't the case, as there were quite a few and only certain people like you or me can 'get' into these areas, but... do you think those could have been real people turned to stone? And if so... would there be any way to reverse it?"

Aima listens intently to Victoria's story. Her face goes varying shades of pale green when the 'extremely realistic statues' are brought up. "If what you say is true, Miss Victoria, then what you need may well be beyond my expertise. We aren't talking about a simple exorcising of angry spirits. This thing, if it does as you claim to have seen, is well beyond my limited powers. We would need to beseech a higher power for aid. Holy Shaymin, I suspect, would be our best bet." Aima explains. "Alas, I have no way of knowing how to contact them. The best hope I can offer you and those poor souls is for me to pray to Celebi for a method with which to contact Shaymin more directly; or to pass along the message."

Victoria deflates a little bit. She of course knows that Aima can't know EVERYTHING about every other pocket 'dungeon' but she was also the closest she had to an 'expert' on the subject so she's at a loss for other options.
She 'hmmms' out loud.
"Shaymin, huh? Alright. Yeah if you could see if the message could get across, I'd really appreciate it."
Victoria scratches her head in thought.
"Now we also all went into Mt Mortar and encountered another pocket area but we ran into another big pokemon like this stone snake and the ghost tree, but this time was just a big Dragalge with a Bronzong buddy. Strong... but not really like evil or malicious."

Aima shrugs. Clearly the 'dungeon' Pokemon are just as varied as their 'normal' counterparts. She's not sure what else to say to that.

Well she was hoping for more, but a day hanging out with Aima also works. After that, when they get back, there's a few days of pure healing and rest. The next morning, as breakfast is being made, she looks to the others.
"So I guess for now... all I have to do left is go fight a dragon lady everyone's warned me about."
She makes a face. She's been told about Clair and her tendencies by quite a few people along her journey. She'd be intimidated already, her being Lance's cousin and all; but when people, including other leaders, have all said that she basically is only interested in trainers at the end of their journey... well it's a little scary.

Everyone, mount up! May takes up her position as a bodysuit for Victoria and Whitney hops on her bird. They all fly away to Blackthorn City! Sure, tradition dictates you walk the Ice Path from Mahogany, but poor May can't handle the cold, so flying it is! Upon arriving in Blackthorn, the group makes their way to the....castle. Apparently in the intervening years, Clair turned her Gym into a flipping castle! How was Victoria not informed of this earlier?!

It is, in fact, enough. Clair is not much of a talker, so she'll be skipping straight to the rules of engagement. Full team. Held items only, as per normal League Regulations. Clair's attitude is fairly dismissive. Apparently, she thinks you're barely worth her time after only managing to get 4.5 wins. Still, you put in the effort to push for 5, so that's better than most.
