Victoria - Adventure Thread (Johto)

May is, naturally, very encouraging to help Victoria get the rest of the way up. After that, it's cooldown time in Celadon City. Kay is obviously not feeling up to trying to find her past again right now, and Victoria is just spent. Luckily, it's a big city, so Celadon has a lovely indoor bath house/sauna one can go into. It's said to be quite relaxing, though poor May would probably melt in the water, if not the heat alone.

May smiles brightly. "Hey, take some 'you time' as well! Just because we're together now doesn't mean your life needs to revolve around me! It's like I said about your Gym Challenge: don't let me slow you down!" She gushes. "Heck, I'll even take your bag and all the Pokemon with me back to the Center to get us a room for the night."

May blushes again, but giggles. "You're not that kinda person, Victoria. I know that. You know that. Kay knows that. That's all that matters!"

Victoria goes to the bath house/sauna and relaxes for a couple hours. It's nice. When she's finished, she cleans up and heads back to the Pokemon Center to cuddle up with May. Yay!

May is currently smiling as she watches her "new kid" splash about in a tub of water. "Hi Victoria! Welcome back! He says he doesn't really need a name. I'm his mama now, and that's all he seems to care about."

Kay is nervously optimistic about this, but it was partly her idea in the first place, so...off we go! The group wanders around Celadon all day, until they bump into a manor house in the rich district with the name 'Starwood' on it. Kay's eyes go wide suddenly and she clutches her head as memories come flooding back to her. "Starwood." She mutters. "Kaeda Starwood. That was my name..." She rambles on about how she was previously on the Gym Challenge, but hit a brick wall and ended up quitting. She released all of her Pokemon save Orpheus, her Gardevoir. The one she is now in the body of. The one whose personality and very soul is basically dead and gone; sacrificed so that Kaeda could live on when the illegal 'hybridization' procedure failed. She still doesn't know the details of that, but it's not important anymore. Kaeda Starwood is dead, and Kay the Gardevoir has taken her place.

At least she knows now...

There is a few hours of melancholy when she realizes she was legally declared dead after much investigation. Her parents may have been harsh and somewhat restricting, but they did care. They loved her with all their hearts. It isn't as though they just gave her up for dead and moved on. No, the bastards who did this to her and Orpheus are all in prison. Well, those who survived the destruction her unchecked psychic powers produced when she first awoke in that facility. In any case, Kaeda, now Kay, resolves to ensure that Victoria can achieve her goal. To make it through to the Silver Conference, at the very least. Orpheus was strong, and Kay may have her body, but she doesn't fully know how to utilize it to its fullest. She wants to get stronger though. She hopes to live vicariously through Victoria. Victoria's wins shall also be Kay's...if Victoria is alright with that...

Kay's eyes widen. "I-I don't know, actually. Orpheus and I Mega Evolved her many times, but doing it myself? It's...a little scary, I'll admit." She takes a shuddering breath. "C-Can I get back to you on that? You don't even have a Gardevoirite yet, right? What about a Mega Item and Key Stone? You'll need those too."

Kay seems to be feeling better already as she joins the upright cuddle pile. May giggles as she oozes over everyone, even managing to elicit some laughs from Kay.

Everyone agrees with Victoria's sentiments and the group make their way back to the Celadon Pokemon Center once more.
