Train tickets are fairly expensive. A whopping 7,000 PYen for a day pass (24-hr variant). Each. May counts as a person, but, as a Gardevoir, technically "Kay" does not.

Victoria winces but has that actual amount, thankfully. She pays that out for May and herself. Hopefully the 24 hours covers the whole trip or else they might have to do some kanto battles for a while to get back. She and her fam board up and head out!

Luckily, it only takes around two hours to get to Saffron. Passports are checked en route (a full Trainer's License counts as a passport, but May's license is attached to Whitney's Gym, so she's good), and all is well.

And along the way, if Kay here has some sort of premonition about her past life, we recklessly follow it throwing caution to the wind! Let's gooooo!"
With that, the group starts heading toward Celadon!

It's only about a day's walk to Celadon, or a few hours by bus. Being tight on money after that rail pass, the group elects to walk. It is well after midnight when you reach Celadon City's borders.

Everyone piles into the Pokemon Center, then into the shared room. Kay, as Victoria's "Pokemon", can't actually rent a personal room, and May and Victoria are definitely sharing. The next morning, it's up and at 'em! Onward, to Fuchsia!

It's a little akward but Victoria doesn't want to recall Kay if she doesn't have to. So for now, they'll just have to be a little 'close' for now. Hopefully Kay doesn't mind! (Although it's preventing some naughty stuff, which is a little sad)
The next morning, it's time to head to cycling road. Luckily May could ride her while Vicky's riding the bike. Cause go riding in the wind doesn't seem good but on her body protected by clothes... as long as Victoria is careful, it should be all ok. Kay... may need to be recalled. We'll see. Maybe there's a pokemon bike?

Inquiring after "Pokemon bikes" only results in pointing out that, alas, a Gardevoir generally can't move in the right ways, though they could probably use Psychic to hold themselves onto the bike and propel it forward. Really, it's up to Victoria if they want to do that or not. May has already taken "shelter" on Victoria's body (as her "assets"  ), and is merely waiting for the party to get started. |

Renting a bike for a trip down the hill is blessedly cheap. Only 50 PYen, so long as you return it to the rental shop at the bottom.
Temp Bicycle paid for, Victori-May zips on down the hill. It only takes about an hour, and then Victoria is letting Kay back out and returning the bike so she can enter Fuchsia City. The marshy area is fairly close to the Safari Zone, but there are maps available to help one navigate it without accidentally treading upon Pokemon Reserves.

May's back out, and then Kay's back out. May would probably want to stay (And Vicky doesn't mind the 'closeness' sometimes), but this is May's pokemon, after all. She grabs a map, and looks at it to see her 'borders' available. She also goes into her back and TADA, rainboots for May! She puts them on the ground.
"Alright cutey, you are going to need to step into these. No butts! Last thing I want is you to step in a marshy puddle and then lose a leg or something!"
She waits for May to comply and continues.
"Time to channel your inner Goodra! If you were a Goomy or Goodra, where would you be hiding in this place?"

May giggles at the thought of losing her leg to a puddle. For the sake of humor, she doesn't correct Victoria's logic. Instead, she does as requested. The map shows a fairly large area available for trainers to poke around in, so long as they respect it and don't over-capture. Since Victoria is here pretty much exclusively for getting a Goomy for May, that won't be a problem!

Victoria giggles as she puts them on. She actually looks pretty cute in them. She turns to the marsh, and walks on in. They are here mostly exclusively for May, sure. And she's caught so many pokemon recently, she doesn't want to overdo it... but if something awesome pops out... she may grab it. Only time will tell! Victoria, May, and Kay are trudging along through the marshlands when a giant bug swoops in out of nowhere and snaps up a Skorupi that the group didn't even see hidden in the muck. Yanmega swoops at it, the downdraft sending the arachnid Pokemon tumbling to land upside down, then it grabs it before it can right itself. It alights on a nearby tree and immediately digs in. May eeps in surprise, while Kay very nearly blasts it out of the sky with a Psychic because it surprised her.

There is a lot more wandering after Victoria nabs that Yanmega. The group even sees a second one at some point. Still, no need for more than one of them. Eventually, while stepping in a puddle, May suddenly freezes. She then kneels down next to said puddle, which turns out to be the elusive Goomy! It pops back up when May gets off it and says something Victoria can't understand that May apparently can. Before Kay can even think to translate for Victoria, May squeaks out that it called her 'Mama' and now she needs this little guy in her life. She immediately hugs it to her chest, where it gurgles happily.
