Victoria takes out 2000 to pay her and then continues.

Layla laughs as she exchanges 5 milks for the money. "Liebling is a Weedle right? Heard about someone fighting off a Snorlax with a Weedle just outside o' town earlier; didn't realize that was you!" Layla twists open a bottle of milk and takes a few swigs before capping it again. "Ah! Hits the spot!" She grins at Victoria, milk mustache and all.

Leibling pops her head over Vickys shoulder when she’s being mentioned.
“Yup that’s her! She shouldn’t let it go to her head, but I saw people recording it so I think it’ll go viral or something! Then everyone will know how much of a badass she is!”

Layla nods at this. She keeps talking for awhile, but as the day starts to wind down, she points out that if Victoria wants to make it to Cianwood tonight, she'd best get moving. Layla herself has finished selling all her milk, so she needs to head on back to the farm anyhow. She definitely looks forward to seeing Victoria again when Vicky is on her way back to Ecruteak.

Vicky gives her a ‘will do!’ And takes off with her new stock of milk for next time she’s dumb enough to click a screen popping up in real life. She heads to buy a ferry ticket to make it across the water tonight so she can do the safari zone all day!

Thankfully, Victoria gets there with ten minutes to spare before the ticket booth closes and twenty minutes to reach the docks before the last ferry of the night heads out. Once aboard, it's about two and a half hours of sailing around the Whirl Islands to reach Cianwood.
After making landfall in Cianwood City, Victoria is able to snatch the last available room in the Pokemon Center. Well, to be more accurate, there is one room available and both her and another trainer want it. The room will easily accommodate two people (it's a double, after all), but if they don't want to share they'll have to figure out a way to decide who gets it and who walks away to try and find someplace else.
The lavender-haired, blindfolded trainer claims she doesn't mind sharing at all, so there's that at least.

It's a bit akward, but Vicky ain't exactly wanting to go find a hotel or camp, and hey, she's always friendly. So a roomie would be fine!

The other trainer smiles and motions for Vicky to lead on. She nearly bumps into the walls a couple times along the way, but overall the short trip to the shared doubles room is uneventful. Once inside the room, she introduces herself as Faith. No sooner has she introduced herself then one of her Poke Balls shakes itself loose from her belt and pops open. A small, blue and black critter pops out, facing the wall and growling like it's protecting its trainer from...the wall.

Faith gently pats the Zweilous' body to calm it. "Don't mind Zweilous here, she doesn't mean any harm. As for what I am doing here? I am looking to challenge Leader Chuck for my seventh Gym Badge. I'm planning to enter the Silver Conference, you see." Her Zweilous seems to eye Victoria suspiciously for a bit before huffing and lying down at Faith's feet.

"Yeah he's surprisingly tough, considering most of the fights leading up to him were full of statuses and then BOOM- Ghosts that hit like trucks! Part of the reason I'm doing Safari zone is just to get some different types, as it seems the one I've been interested in lean heavily on a few. And y'know, any cute pokemon that just wants to come with. I got a ranch that needs some love!"
She laughs again.

Faith gently untangles the silly Zweilous as Victoria talks. "Well, if you want my advice for things to look for? Dark or Normal-Type Pokemon that can hit Ghosts easily. I've heard that Leader Whitney's Miltank surprises people who bring Ghosts to the fight by hitting them anyway. Even without that same ability, anything that learns a strong Dark-Type move, like...Stoutland! They get the ability to Bite and Crunch, after all."

Faith smiles lightly. "That depends on what order you challenge them in. Jasmine will always use three Pokemon unless you're on your 7th or 8th badge. However, similarly with most Gym Leaders, her Signature Pokemon is the only one that doesn't change. The others could be just about anything matching the Type of the Gym." She offers. "The most basic advice I can offer is to consider the Type Specialty of each of the Gyms. Presuming that you're going to pick up Chuck and Jasmine's badges while you're here (likely in that order since you're going to the Safari Zone), Chuck uses the Fighting-Type. He likes to go heavy on offense. Jasmine is a master of the Steel Type. They're often physically durable, but a wide variety of attacks is best because you never know what she'll pull."

Victoria had hoped for more specific advice, but she supposes since they have teams for whenever they face trainers, that makes sense that Faith really wouldn't be able to help.
"Uh no actually, I plan on doing Morty's for my fourth still. What I'd rather not have is me coming back and then his stronger team is full of unknowns. At least I know what kicked my tush for when I go back."
She laughs.
