Well at the very least this is a good time for her newest capture to come out and play. Considering the implications of doing it in the poison branch. She releases Chesh before looking around. (mostly for Sabine but anyone interesting could be worth it)

Rei wanders around the Bug Branch, avoiding the dormitories out of politeness. She finds a back room where there are a ton of spider Pokemon building webs all around. In fact, she nearly gets jumped by one when she accidentally walks through its web that covered the top part of the doorway.

Rei is startled as she walks through the web, and then the spider jumps down. She ends up inadvertently backing up into the room.

The spider chitters angrily at her, but doesn't outright attack. Either it's not as angry as it seems, or it's trained to not attack people without cause. Either way, it levels its best glare at Rei for a few more moments before climbing back up to repair the web. Rei finds herself now in the middle of a nest of Spinarak. A...very large nest. The entire room seems to be dedicated to them.

Rei makes an apologetic face to the spider as it backs off. And then she looks around and sees the full scope of the spinarak nest.
Oh wow, I seemed to have found the nest of them.
Although... they 'are' poison types, aren't they? And well... Rei could use something that creates webbing for... 'things'. Time to pour on the charm. She looks to the one who surprised her.
"Hey look, can I help you somehow? I just really didn't see it coming in, I don't know my way around much..."

The Spinarak seems to indicate that Rei may make an offer to be considered. It doesn't know what Rei could offer, but it's willing to listen. Sol is a helpful little translator after all.

Rei 'hmmms' thoughtfully before getting an idea! She gets some of her scrap cloth and begins making little light creations like cloth flowers and decorations for the web. Being inside must be a little disorienting for some of them, and maybe some reminders of the outside might help. She also makes a little 'nook' using cloth as well so any one of them can snuggle in there if they are cold.

The Spinarak that Rei is 'talking' to seems nonplussed about the decorations, but the older Spinarak scattered about indicate approval. Seems that the younger generations of Spinarak have lived here in the Bug Branch all their lives (which is only about 2 years at present). That is why they don't necessarily appreciate the reminders of the outside. Not like they can't go outside whenever they wish (they have their ways), but in here it is safe from predators like Pansear and Pansage.

The indignant Spinarak only says that it wishes for Rei to depart and leave it in peace. This particular Spinarak seems to still be miffed at Rei for inadvertently ruining its first web.

The older Spinarak tell Rei that the one she 'offended' will get over it soon enough and not to worry about it overmuch. They do approve of her decorations, however.

Thankfully they don't seem to mind being called 'creepy crawlies', but as none of them really feel like leaving the nest (it's rare for arachnid pokemon to live in large groups like this), they offer Rei a chance to do battle with them to earn an Egg. They feel it might be good for at least one of their future children to see the outside world.

Rei careful phases through a few walls, hopefully so the others won’t follow. She does what she can to be invisible but she can’t hold that herself too long like her sisters. Once she finds a ‘safe’ spot to pop out, she does so. Most of the water has phased off of her save for the actual outfit. She tries to zip into the changing area, cursing under her breath about that event. She likes them but not really being fully human, and a ghost at that, they got to think she’s some freak now. From what her mother told her, that Dracul family gave their father the information, who knows what’s out there about ghost types. All the misinformation that could be there...
And if anyone learned that Sol is literally her lifeline... she doesn’t want to think about it.

"You can 'feel' me brooding? Well... I think I messed up. I did something on instinct and it gave away something about me I didn't want to give away. I don't trust anyone here at the guild yet, and this was only something I could give away to someone I could trust."
She sighs again.
"I think I messed up."
