Meganium takes the filled-out paperwork and "signs" it with a stamp it holds with its vines. The stamp turns out to be one of Nalkeya's signature; or at least, that's what is assumed. It could just as easily be a bunch of squiggly lines that mean absolutely nothing. In any case, Meganium gives Rei a little salute and then begins "explaining" about the mission board via charades and picture cards.

At least the Meganuim is good at it's job.
With that, Rei looks at the mission board to see what's up there before she heads to her new dorms.

For the time being, it seems as though most of the missions on the board are D and C ranks. Simple chore-like missions. They primarily fall into three categories: babysit some rich person's Pokemon/child (some people treat their Pokemon as if they were their own human child), help an elderly person run some errands around town, and meet a new Pokemon friend of your own (aka - go out and catch a Poison-Type).

Well catching a proper poison type is probably a good idea. She'd need some more pokemon eventually anyway. Sol is half/poison but still really isn't a full on one. (Or has any poison moves in general)
But for now, she has a dorm full of possible cuties to see! (Also she probably has to find a bed and set up her stuff but hey that's not the 'fun' part, is it?)

There are many cute girls in the female dorm, but only one of them sticks out to Rei. This girl wears black clothing with armored plates tied to her shoulders and thighs. Her long, black hair is pulled back into a standard ponytail and tied off with a red ribbon. She seems to be a bit older than Rei, maybe 15 or 16, and preparing for a journey or mission of some sort based on the various items she is packing into the pouches attached to her hip. Everyone else seems to be avoiding her, and it quickly becomes obvious why when she deliberately ignores those who approach her.

While there are many girls she could start talking to in the dorm, this girl in black 'does' indeed stand out. And as a person who enjoys the gothic style, she peaks Rei's interest. And ooh those eyes, yes please. Rei gets a little smirk as she slinks closer and sits behind her. She peaks out around her shoulder to look at the pack's contents.
"Hiya, whatcha doin?"

Rei is ignored in favor of packing more round pellets into a separate leg pouch. The only acknowledgement she gets is a brief shifting of the eyes in her direction before they're refocused on the task.

The girl finishes packing up her surprisingly large amount of supplies. Seems like she plans to be away for awhile. The packing now finished, mystery girl straightens and walks past Rei without a second glance.

Hmmm, well that’s a bit of a cold shoulder treatment. For a place known for pranks, she’s a bit somber. Rei gets up off the bed, and rounds around in front of her.
”Hi, sorry. I was just gonna ask if you knew a bed that was open. But, you ok? You seem a little somber for someone going on a trip.”

The girl stops briefly to glance at Rei. "Find a bed that doesn't have stuff around it. Those are usually empty. I would think that'd be obvious." She ignores Rei's question concerning her attitude and resumes her departure.

Rei at this point watches her go. As much as she stuck out, this girl is clearly on her way out and doesn’t want to talk. So Rei drops it, and just goes to find an empty bed.

Rei decides to pick that one, as if that girl is still sleeping at this point, she’d be the type to do that every day. And it means Rei can sleep in. She leaves what stuff she has there, and sits on the bed for a moment. So far, today has not been as glamorous as she had expected. Hopefully it’ll turn around as it progresses...

When Rei returns to her shared dorm, she finds that 'sleepy-head' is actually awake now. In fact, she seems to be merrily skipping down the halls humming a tune. For just a moment, it seems like she's about to run into someone who isn't looking where they're going with head stuck in a book of some kind only for sleepy-head to twirl around them and keep right on going without missing a beat.
