The first mud bomb seemed to barely hit Kiva's powerful armour, but the second looked a lot better aimed so Lowell nodded at Kiva. A powerful shield of energy shimmered in front of the Bug, absorbing all of the damage from the second Mud Bomb and leaving the armored bug untouched. Once the third Mud Bomb had hit, Kiva retaliated with a blast of reflected light! Acc vs 5

The Gauntlet trainer seems perturbed by this rapid-swap tactic, but sticks it out regardless. As Kiva switches out, Toxicroak is determined to get at least one last hit on it.
If the foe is fleeing or switching out, Pursuit may be used as an Interrupt, targeting the triggering foe. When used as an interrupt, Pursuit grants the user +5 to all Movement Speeds, and has a Damage Base of 8.

Lowell quick switched, putting in Kiva who ate the brunt of the massive fire attack and somehow stayed standing! Her blistering hot metal scales then bursted outward, dealing 88 damage back to the Emboar!
Lowell then Round Tripped away Kiva and released Cozette again, who used her faster speed to Intimidate and fire a Bubblebeam before running as far as possible (starts 4 tiles away, moves away 6. Is now 10 tiles away).
