Carnivine has no super effective moves against Steel Wormadam. It uses Swallow to heal itself.
Carnivine's Big Swallow ability treats its Stockpile Count as 1 higher for the effects of Swallow or Spit Up (doesn't affect anything if it is already at 3 counts). After, it digs in its roots to try and outpace/negate the burn damage.
Carnivine uses Ingrain.

Kiva looked like she barely noticed the leaf blast at all, and its body shimmered as it let out another Psybeam at the Carnivine. Acc (vs 2)

Lowell used Quick Switch as soon as he saw the Mismagius and Stefan swooped in, blasting out a Silver Wind before tanking the Will-o-Wisp to no effect thanks to his Fire-type. Acc

The same gatekeeper that Jane spoke to approaches Lowell when he inquires about the Gym Challenge. When he says he only has four badges of the recommended five, they state they are required to test him to see if he can handle the gauntlet ahead. This will be a simple one on one match. If he succeeds, he can move on. If he fails, he must try again tomorrow or return with more badges. When he is ready, the fight will begin.

Lowell released Kiva, then clicked open a small bottle releasing a pheromone perceptible only to his Bug-types. Kiva seemed to perk up at it, almost if empowered by the smell.
