When the group managed to regroup together, and Leon saw the darkness of the swamp. He removed the lantern he'd bought earlier from his pack turning it on, illuminating the area around the group. Leon turned looking over to Alex "Would you mind holding this? So I could keep my hands open if we run into any trouble? I'm not sure if you would need both hands to heal us in a tense situation. If so I'll keep a hold of it." Leon said, believing that Alex would be the best choice for the lantern. However, he didn't want to burden the group's healer if he could avoid it.

"Oh uh, that's fine. I'm not the best in hand to hand. I'll hold it. You guys just be ready for anything." Alex says taking the lantern. Now that he was actually here, he was starting to get a little nervous.

With the Koffing dispatched, Leon looked around to take stock of his friend's situations. Alex and Yue were poisoned and all the pokemon but his own were poisoned, though Rex was hurt. Going over to the flame dog, Leon opened up a bottle of enriched water he'd picked up a while back. Letting the flame dog lap it up to help with his wounds. While Rex was drinking, Leon removed 3 antidotes from his bag and 4 more of the waters laying them out on a dry surface.
"Here, if you or your pokemon are poisoned this should be able to help." he said pointing to the antidotes "And if they're quite hurt but not injured this water should help them heal," he said motioning to the waters letting his friends take what they need.
(Using 1 of Leon's Enriched Waters to heal Rex)

"Ow ow ow...Pain...Do not like pain!" Yue complained, holding her injuries as she walked over to the pokeball containing the Koffing she captured. "I guess it's only fair that I name you...I'll call you...Puff!" She said, putting Puff's pokeball with the rest. She then grabs one of the antidotes and uses it on Bubbles.
(-1 antidote to cure Bubbles)

Alex let out a sigh of relief. One big battle down. He took inventory of who all was injured. Alex went to the pile and grabbed an antidote for himself. He sprayed himself down real fast to get rid of the crud that he was hit with. Next he went to Yue. Alex pulled out his kit and went to work on her injury as well as cleaning off her wounds. While doing so, he took a syringe and stuck her. The elixir was made to clear her body of internal toxins as well as fight off immediate outside ones. He glanced around again and made sure everyone was okay. “Okay. Is everyone alright? Anyone else need cleaned up? As for you Squirt, in the ball with you for now. As for this one, I’ll deal with you later.” He said eyeing the new ball. He recalled Squirt and called out Stout again. Maybe the next fight would be better for him.
(One use of First Aid Expertise on Yue. Yue has full HP and is cleared of one injury and all status effects. Alex uses one antidote on himself to clear him of poison.)

"You all right?" Brooke asked, her attention snapping over to Yue as the girl yelped. She was on her feet and complaining, so it couldn't be too bad, but any hurt was more than there ought to be. "Alex, c'mere, have a look at Yue." As it happened the healer was only a few steps behind her; she hovered nearby while he did his work, offering an unskilled hand if he needed it.
"You did good, kiddo," she told Yue as Alex finished up. "Feelin' better now?"

Yue sighs with relief as Alex-nii-chan tends to her wounds. "That really hurt..." She says with a sniffle.

Brooke enfolded her in a hug at the first sign of sniffles. "Aw, kiddo. We'll be more careful next time, okay?"
Meanwhile, Sharp made his way unsteadily over to where Leon laid out the antidotes and squawked, unsubtly demanding medical attention.

"Oh hey there Sharp, you're looking a little woozy yourself. Here" Leon said carefully spraying the bird, before looking over at Yue who was in the middle of being comforted by Brooke 'Yue's attack against that Koffing, it was almost certainly the same as what I tried to do before Rex's fireball knocked out that other Koffing, could Yue be like me?' he thought standing up once the antidote bottle was empty, making a mental note to ask Yue about her powers later.
"Well, that's all my Antidotes used up, we'll have to be careful around poison types going forward." Leon said looking at the others.

After the injuries she took during the fight with the Koffings, Yue seemed a little more subdued than usual, but she lead the way none the less. "Right...Let's head out." She gets to her feet and starts walking.

Yue's face lights up and she rushes over to the Poliwags. "Awwww...You guys are so cute!" She gets five cinnamon buns out of a container in her bag and holds them out for the Poliwags. "Here you go! One for each of you!"

Yue's sudden outburst combined with moving rapidly towards them causes them to respond as if she is attacking and spray her down with water.
Fountain Struggle deals 7 special damage! (This is a "fluff" attack, so while it hurts, it's supposed to deal minimal damage.)

Yue winches in pain, but still holds out the cinnamon buns. "Oh come on, don't be shy~ If you come with us, you won't have to worry about predators or food anymore~" She says with a bright smile.

As Yue offers up the buns, the Poliwag look at her funny. They obviously don't understand what this thing is. Is it food? Yue also realizes that each bun is roughly 1/3 of the size of a Poliwag, so five is probably too many for them. Assuming they'll even eat it.

They see that Yue is trying to give them something, but aren't quite understanding. This is 'food'? Doesn't look like any berries they've ever seen; or at least, that's what one might assume is running through their heads right now.

Yue pinches off a piece of one of them and feeds it to Cuddles in front of the Poliwags. The Petilil happily eats and then looks at Yue pleadingly, asking for some more. Yue gives Cuddles her own cinnamon bun and watches as she goes to town on it. "See? Cuddles likes it."

The Poliwag see the Petilil eating these strange things and discuss amongst themselves. Eventually, one is brave enough to try some. Eh, it's alright. Not as amazing as it seemed based on Petilil's reaction, but not bad either. Eventually the remaining Poliwag chow down together on one of the buns. Having no teeth makes it harder to eat such an odd food, but it was easily obtained, so it's not like they need to turn it down.

"Guess you guys don't like it as much as Cuddles, huh? Well if you come with us, they'll be plenty of food to go around! You won't have to worry about searching for food, or even being attacked by predators! What do you say?" Yue says, smiling happily at the sight of the cute creatures chowing down in front of her.

The Poliwag finish their bun and huddle up to discuss their next plan. After a minute or two, the first one to step up decides it will go with. The others will stay behind to protect their pond for future poliwag generations!
Poliwag is level 7, Male, Quirky, with Swift Swim.
