Rex took the multiple strikes, looking a lot worse for wear after, but remaind determined gnashing his teeth until they were sparking, biting the bird.

The flurry of blows went on much longer then they needed to Rex falling unconscious in the middle of it. Leon looked shocked then worried with a hint of disappointment as he went over to check on Rex "Oh man Rex this looks like the most hurt you've been all day" He said, before looking over at Brooke holding his satchel out "I don't know exactly how much I've got, but I'm pretty sure the rule is 10%, I know you won't take more than that" he said returning his fire dog.
(Brooke can gain up to 266 crowns if she wants)

Leon watched Yue run off a little amazed, believing that this was the first time two trainers had battled when one wasn't even there. Leon shrugged reasoning he could return Toadstool if anything went too far, nudging him closer to Dukes.

The little rabbit's fists connected with Toadstools body, but the blow bounced off the mushroom bugs carapace, as he replied with an attack of his own scratching at the rabbit with his claws.

Not long after entering the dreaded Lavender Swamp, Yue & her servants friends are accosted by wild Pokemon! These are floating, purple balls that seem to be spewing some sort of noxious fumes. The Poke Tome says they are Koffing, a Poison-Type.

Hearing that the pokemon are poison types. Leon realizes that Toadstool wouldn't be a great choice for this bout letting Rex out right in front of him, the fire dog growling at the floating balls of gas.

Alex freezes when the Koffing appear. Not the things he wanted to see first. Since they are floating above the ground, he took out Stout's ball and said, "Not these ones little buddy. I need Squirt." He recalled Stout and let out Squirt. The Wingull notices the enemies and gets ready (by that he fills his mouth with some water and tries to look tough!).
