Yue sits up from her bed roll. <"Mou! NO disturb Yue's sleep!> She yells in a foregein language that is totally not Japanese, before throwing a random object at the source of the noise, hitting the belsprout be not causing any damage. What she threew turned out to be Hearth's Apricorn, causing the startled candle Pokemon to fall ontop of the Belsrpout and release a blast of flame in surprise.

In the middle of Yue's watch, Brooke hears something slip into her tent. Having lived in the wilds most of her life, she immediately snaps awake on high alert. She awakens just in time to be able to see an Ekans launch itself at her, coiling around her torso and beginning to squeeze.

"SNAKES!" hollers Brooke the instant she realizes what's going on. If the others aren't also being attacked, they can come to her aid - and if they are, a second's warning might make all the difference. Ekans don't usually hunt in packs, but if anywhere's going to be the exception, it'd be this place.
She thrashes about, doing her best to slam the Ekans' head into the ground so she can slip away while it's stunned.

Alex was enjoying his rest. He was dreaming about being with his family and the ones he loves. He was happily doing his alchemist duties and one lady even thanked him after he was done. She had praised his bandaging skills and potion use. She wasn’t in pain anymore and felt terrific. She leaned in and gave Alex a hug. The hug lasted, a bit too long. As he tried to say something to the lady, the hug got tighter and tighter. He couldn’t get away from her. She was saying something along the line of thank yous and other pleasantries, but Alex just wanted let go. He tried to yell out, and no sound came out.
At that moment, Alex woke up from his nightmare, right into another one! He was about to breath in a sigh of relief, until he noticed that it was still hard to breathe. About then he heard Brooke yell out. He didn’t quite hear what she said through the tent and grogginess of waking up, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out as soon as his eyes adjusted to the darkness. Alex felt the creature wrapping around him and squeezing the life out of him. In a panic, he yelled out, “A...Allure! Burn this thing!” The little candle was doing her happy little rounds around the tent, just being a good little nightlight. When she heard her trainer, she noticed the ekans suddenly. That was something to burn, and Allure liked burning stuff. She puffed up her little flame and sent a gout of fire right at the ekans.

Alex tries to kick, scratch, and bite his way out of the things hold.

Leon struggled a bit with his belt managed to slip Stunfisk ball off of it, tossing it behind the purple Snake as the flatfish popped out taking a moment to take in the situation. Realising that his trainer was in a bit of a pickle Stunfisk spit up a ball of mud at one of the Snakes harassing him.

Yue snaps out of watching her Litwick and takes a look around. "Wait...When did these guys get here?!" She yelled. They must have had some sort of temporary invisibility! But if they can turn invisible how could she fight them... "Oh!" Yue said, striking upon one of her usual brilliant ideas. "All I have to is to get rid of their invisibility! Lucky for me that Ms. Marie from back home showed me how to expose invisible ink! So since they're both invisible the same method should work!" Yue turns to face Hearth. "Alright Hearth, use Ember!" she told it, point to the nearest Ekans.

Leon groaned, the snake squeezing him hard enough to wound his bones, as Stunfisk kept spitting mud at the pokemon that was squeezing his trainer, the mudball hitting its mark knocking out the Snake. Leon now freed of the Ekans ran over to help his last bound teammate, his lip curling as he glared at the snake holding Alex, his shadow striking out at it.

Startled by the suddenness of the attack, Snap hunkers down, catching the Ekans' fangs on one of her claws. It punctures her carapace, but not badly. She lets out another stream of bubbles, annoyed at herself for flinching.

Ekans hisses in protest as the nasty, exploding bubbles strike it point-blank. Downsides to going for a biting attack, it supposes. Hearth manages to get off her ember in the other Ekans' face, which also hurts a lot.
