Asa
After giving Bo her Beedrill and evolving the Munna to a Musharna, Asa carefully collected some of the dreaming Pokémon's mist in a container. Once completely, she followed Bo outside but not to the Mart.
She released the floating Musharna. "I've got a bit of time before going to pick up the first revived fossil. Let's find a battle."

Asa meets a Gambler named Darren, and he's just itching to battle.
"I'm willing to wager it all on my Pokémon."
Asa is challenged to a 1 vs 1 battle. Her best pick versus his.

Asa
"Alright, let’s see what you got." Tapped the two balls on her waist expectantly, waiting to see what the gambling man would release to fight.

"Looks like you did your job a bit too well, buddy," Justin said, smiling and patting his Gyarados. "Ball time. We'll hang out later." The massive sea monster disappeared in a flash of red light that filled the surrounding area. To Asa, Justin replied, "I'm going to try to catch the rest of my Pokemon on my own. If there's one you want me to take care of though, that's okay." Then to Bo, "Of course! I'm always happy to help."

When he returned, he got quickly to work. "Right. Well I'm not sure which this may be applicable to, but the only ones I assume would be Beedrill and Skorupi....but again I'm not sure...." he started off cryptically, as he set up his small chemistry set in a clear area just off the side of the center. The simple plastic toys he started to melt over the small burner. As they started to heat, he took out Fio, and Blitz, and released the two insect Pokemon, before handing the newly purchased Collection jars he purchased to Justin.
"I want to make some other forms of Pester ball, as well as some Repels for us to use in the future." he started, as he took one of his Repels, and started to idly read over the ingredients, before unscrewing the top of the bottle, and pouring the whole thing into a beaker before sealing it, his two Pokemon shuddering at the brief, intense scent of the repel.
"The confusion ball is useful, but I also need to make some more...slightly unpleasant Pester balls, as well as a few that could have more nonlethal effects, like sleep. Something like a Sleep ball would have been a great help against a larger group of low level Pokemon like we fought earlier. MIght even be able to learn to make some potions and antidotes...if I can find the right reading materials." he continued, as he shook and swirled the beaker, looking at the cloudy substance within.
"What I need your help with specifically....is I want to know, if you could Milk, or otherwise extract the toxins from my Pokemon, so I can try and create some of these things. Just over these last few days, I can see you know much more about Pokemon physiology and such than I do."

Justin coughed at the acrid smoke coming off the...toys...Bo was melting down. "So wait, you want poison from your Pokemon?" he asked. He wasn't sure about the wisdom inherent in giving a kid jars full of venom. "I mean...I could probably do that. It's not exactly the kind of thing I did for Professor Birch though. He usually had me take care of Pokemon, you know, like feeding and exercising them. Incubating eggs..." he trailed off. "So, are you planning an assassination or something?" he asked with a bit of a laugh.

Pokémon Ed: Milking a venomous Pokémon of its poison through the fangs is pretty straightforward and most Trainers can figure out how to do it and carry it out with no accidents. Procuring venom from other species that use other methods - stingers, a slimy surface layer, oral projectiles, etc. - are understandably more difficult, but still nothing that a Trainer can't do after watching one or two How-To videos through the MewTube app on their PokéDex. It always helps if it's an owned Pokémon rather than a wild Pokémon, as owned Pokémon are far more apt to be cooperative and do whatever they need to do in order to help their Trainer get what he wants, and they're far, far less likely to attack the Trainer.

Asa
Returning back to the Center and her companions after an extremely brief match, Asa could see they were tinkering with... something. "I’m going to head to the couple’s house. They said to come back later when the police had finished. Either of you coming?"
After receiving their answer one way or another, she would head toward the home of the old couple.

Asa gives it a thought for a moment and then feels like it would be better if, when she went to the old couple's house again, she was able to hand their Absol over to them. Looking at her watch, she see that she only needs to occupy herself for about twenty more minutes before the Absol should be healed.

Asa
Checking her watch, she huffed at having to wait. Still, she was a girl and knew the best way to pass the time. To the store! She had nothing to buy there, but much to off-load. Visions of the fossils that the lab was selling floated in the forefront of her mind.
Asa sells her berry stock, her dose of dream mist, and the two TMs that she found that weren’t given by the Gym, totaling $2325.
Once she had completed her sale, Asa headed back to the lab. She wanted to check on the progress and quickly purchase a fossil before someone else could.

"Welcome back," the scientist says when Asa enters the lab. She sees her 'fin' fossil sitting on a table, locked up tight inside some kind of small, cube-shaped wire box.
"We are a little over halfway through the revival process for your Agamid Fossil - your 'twig' fossil, as it were. When it is finished, we will keep the Pokémon here in a safe place until you can pick it up. We'll start the Shade Fossil immediately as well. We are all so excited to finally find out what these fossils revive into. We will update the information on the display plaques. This is really going to put us on the map, so to speak."
As a reminder, here is what the Fossil Lab has for sale, for $5,000 each:
A fossil that looks kind of like a pair of eyes - 'Dylus Fossil. Native to Tevorah. Extremely rare. Only two specimens known to exist. Revived from this fossil: Unknown.' A fossil that looks kind of like a bundle of spikes - 'Glacier Fossil. Native to Tevorah. Extremely rare. Only two specimens known to exist. Revived from this fossil: Unknown.' A fossil that looks kind of like half of a snake's rattler - 'Colubrid Fossil. Native to Tevorah. Extremely rare. Only two specimens known to exist. Revived from this fossil: Unknown.'

"Good to know, I won’t challenge the Gym until both of thise are finished. I have another to add to the queue and also want to buy one of those you have." Asa retrieved her flame fossil and handed it over to the scientist along with six thousand.
She walked over to the fossil display. She paused and pondered which to choose. She smirked and appeared to decide. "Does my purchase include a reanimation of the one I choose?" Asa tapped on the glass display of the glacier fossil.

"Unfortunately it does not. But we sure hope that you either have the funds to do so or that you can obtain the funds soon, because you have been an absolute blessing to this facility. Not only are we going to soon gain some priceless knowledge about these fossils, but your funds will do wonders around here. Here is your Glacier Fossil and we'll go ahead and add your Flame Fossil to the queue. The machine uses so much energy and resources that we can't afford to waive the $5,000 fee, but perhaps we can lower it to $4,000. In your case, I'm willing to simply break even rather than make a profit, since you've already done so much for us."

"I’m glad I can help, though it’s mostly selfish, since I plan on using the fossils to win the League." Asa smirked.
"I should return back to the Center and attend to everything before picking up my two Pokémon tomorrow!”
She departed again and returned to the Center to retrieve the Absol and her friends. On ther way, the opened up the trade channel, placing the Musharna and Croconaw as available.
Asa used second and third daily events for trades.

Asa gets offered a Happiny and a Geodude, respectively. When she arrives at the Center, Joy is happy to report that the gamble was a success and the Absol is fully healed and in good spirits. Its horn is every so slightly a different color than it should be, a side-effect from being completely rebuilt.

“Nothing so unpleasant.” He mumbled in response as he continued his work, breaking down the Repel components in the sealed beaker by slowly heating it, and continuing, occasionally glancing at the large science text with a myriad of scrawled notes in the pages.
“Like I said, it’s stuff for in case we come across something where there are…say a more overwhelming number of Pokemon that attack us. Things like the Confusion Pester ball I used on those Machop.” He continued, as he coughed a little, and moved to set the melting plastic into small, hollow ball molds. They had no real need to be perfect. Just solid enough to keep the chemicals from within leaking out easy.
“Maybe..one or two that are a bit more powerful than something simple as Confusion. Stuff like putting them to sleep, or paralyzing…..or poisoning and burning if needed.”

Asa
Asa accepted both trades.
"That’s an interesting side-effect. I wonder if revived fossils have the same color distortion." Asa studied the Absol for a moment before turning to The nurse..
"Thank you for helping us get Absol back healthy. I happen to just trade for a Pokémon that I think could be a great assistant to you. I noticed that this region doesn’t have Pokémon helpers in the Centers.”
She held out the Happiny ball for the nurse before getting ready to bring Absol back home.

"For me?" Joy asks, surprised. "Thank you. Here. To show my thanks, I'd like you to have this."
Asa receives a Blue Flute. This item (which can be sold in stores for $50) can be used by a Trainer to wake any sleeping Pokémon that hear it.
Joy hands Absol over to Asa. "Of course I trust you to safely return this Absol to its owners. Take care."

Asa
Asa motioned for the Absol to follow and went to gather her companions. "Nurse Joy says that Absol has a clean bill of health, let’s get it back to the rightful owners."
The researcher raised a brow as she saw Bo’s make-shift chemical lab. She waited for them to finish and come with.

Turning his head, he had already completed a few of his simple creations. around 8 of the somewhat shoddy looking Pester balls were crafted from his materials, of varying types and uses.
"Oh, Hello Asa. Good to see the Absol is doing fine. Just was in the midst of trying out some new Pester Ball recipes. They really are useful in a pinch." he said, as he held up one, that was colored burnt orange, and gave off a faint smokey scent towards her. "Care to take one? Justin is going to assist me in getting some poisons from my pokemon to make some more interesting ones like sleep and paralysis. Could be useful if we come across large groups like that again."
