Taking advantage of the Munchlax anger Jane uses Rude Gesture! *uh* Taunt! And as a Swift Action she gets Sam to Focus!

Sam exploits the opening created by Jane and uses Crunch.

"OwW!" Jane winced as the surprisingly heavy little pokémon slammed into her. It was really tempting to simply try and punt it away - but she suspected that that would hurt her foot more then the Munchlax. Instead she goes for an angry glare and orders Sam to go for another try!
xun5Vv801d20+1 Leer vs AC 2. It will lose 2 cs in Def/Sp.Def (Play them like a fiddle) and be slowed for 1 round (Powerful motivator) it it hits
Sam also gives the Munchlax an annoyed look then tries to chomp at it again!

2d8+42 Physical Dark damage
If above hits Sam will trigger Mind Games making the Munchlax Vulnerable for 1 found and switching the Enrage to Suppression.

Sam's Sweet Scent attracts a random nearby Pidgey. It sits on the edge of a nearby roof, wary of the nasty-looking Pokemon that is producing a sweet smell.

Jane opens her bag and unscrews the berry jar lid. Thinking that maybe two normal-flying pokémon might have similar taste she picks a Bluk berry to offer the Pidgey before securing the jar again. Then she offers berry to the bird on her outstretched hand.

In the meanwhile Sam tries to get a good eye measurement of the pidgey's size. Could she fit it into her secondary jaws as is or would she have to chew? ... The question of course was largely academic - it looked very unlikely that she'd ever be able to reach the flying thing.

Pidgey seems to think that maybe this Bluk Berry might be tasty, so it flutters down to snag the berry and finds a nearby perch to eat on (making sure to stay above the dangerous Mawile!).

Jane finds somewhere close by to sit down with the jar in her lap to wait. Maybe the pidgey would want another berry? Maybe not. Anyhow it was a bit nice just to relax. And she didn't need to actually catch or battle *every* pokémon she met. Though it would be nice if the pidgey wanted to come along ...
Sam sat down on Jane's left side. A bit too close to the berry jar for comfort, but still, there was plenty of space to flutter around the right side out of reach for the jaws.

The thing about small birds is that... they don't actually need that much energy compared to big ones. Pidgey doesn't see a reason to stick around and flies off after finishing its berry.

Jane wanders around Saffron for a bit, then bumps into some gal in overalls on her way out of town. She seems bored and wants a fight to alleviate it somewhat. She has two Pokemon, and will open with Tauros @ Init 17.

The overall girl seemed to be just right for a battle. Hopefully. Jane lead with Alice the Diggersby. She also took a moment to bind Capricious Whirl before the first blows were struck. "Go Alice! Let's do this!"
