Eve... had thought that this was just some Pokemon playing a very rude prank, and while it was most unwelcome, she wasn't inclined to hyper beam the guts out of someone that just wanted to have some fun. She only realized the danger she was in when it became really hard to breathe, and she didn't notice the slight burning sensation on her skin until then. The actually serious kicking and squirming, which had been rather weak before, had started as Eve realized, but alas it was too late. The Victreebell successfully swallowed her whole. Panic and oxygen deprivation were perfect partners in crime. Being disoriented, Eve very nonsensically thought she needed to orient herself first before firing off a hyper beam, lest she shoot herself in the foot. While perhaps a valid reason, now really wasn't the time, especially since acrobatics-less Eve had zero chance of orienting herself.
If it wasn't for the power couple, Eve really might have become fish food... er... plant food? Mulch? Fertilizer? Right. Well, they saved the die, and lying with swirlies in her eyes, Eve got out a few words of gratitude, "My heroes... heroines? Why is the world so spinny?". Give her a bit. Eve would be up and tripping in finesse no time.
Meanwhile, encounter tres.

Kaeda helps up Lia, and gives Eve a cloth to wipe herself off of Victreebel slime. "It was no problem. Good thing we were super close by. You two okay?"

Eve rubs the Victreebell slime off of her face and arms, at least, before folding the handkerchief and pocketing it until she could wash and return it later. "It was a definitely good thing. Dunno what I would have done without the two of you. I'm fine now, but being eaten is definitely not my thing." She cracks a smile and a small laugh.

The next encounter goes swimmingly as well. Eve & her saviors are at once startled and entranced by some kinda creepy singing coming from further into the woods. Following the sound to its source, they find a lone Gourgeist that seems to have... captured something... a small Rattata by the looks of it, which it is.. singing to as it slowly drains the life from it. The poor Rattata seems in terrible pain as its life force is stolen by the ghastly plant-creature. It's wrapped up so tightly in the hair-like arms of Gourgeist that it can only make ever-softer squeaking sounds as it slowly, yet painfully dies.

Eve stands there, gaping, until she finds the voice to whisper, "That's so mean..." She'd known it was a Pokemon-eat-Pokemon world out there, but she'd never seen a live Pokemon getting slowly killed to be eaten as food. To experience it was... wholly different than simply knowing about it.

Kaeda has to close her eyes, and look away. This was life, but it didn't mean she liked it. She does recall she stopped those Mightyena from eating the Lopunny...Hopefully they wouldn't go hungry because of her...

Lia was trying her best to contain herself, but after basically failing to save her own friends LIFE because of a quick nap, she's having a hard time not rushing in. Sure it's natural life playing out, but this is cruel. Just eat the thing if you are going to eat it. Torturing it is another thing. ...And resistance failed. As soon as Lia tells Scier to blast the Gourgeist, the ghost Pokemon shrieks in anger, dropping its prey and rushing in to smack Scier.

Lia steps in the way of the Gourgeist, motioning to Scier to heal the victim pokemon. Lia knows she can't hit the thing, and she's into just knocking something out for trying to live, so she'll just try to block it until the prey heals. Then maybe it'll retreat, knowing their whole group is standing there. Scier charges up a blast of healing toward the Rattata in the meantime! Heal pulse vs Rattata
No ac Psychic Status

The ghost shrieks again as it vanishes, likely off to find prey that isn't protected by humans. The Rattata's breathing is still labored, and its unconscious now, but at least it isn't suffering?

Once it's gone, Lia breathes a sigh of relief. She really didn't want to catch the thing that tries to eat another living thing and put in on the ranch (Unlike her girlfiend, it seems). So that it left is a good thing. Ultimately did this matter in the grand scheme of things? No, but in the small scheme of things, like the little Rattata in front of her, it mattered a whole lot. She goes over and scoops it up carefully, while Scier hits it with a regular Wish to heal it some more to get it stable. Lia pulls out her medkit and tries to do her best to care for it's wounds herself there. She may need to catch it to take it to a center to properly heal it. Time will tell.
She carries it in her arms as she hops back up on the Skiddo and looks to the other two.
"Alright, that oddness is over. Pokemon saved, did we have more to do?"

Kaeda watches Lia go in to save the poor rattata. She did the same for the Lopunny, so hopefully they were done messing up the food chain here. She does have some tears well up when she finally looks over the poor thing when Lia brings it on back. "It definitly looks worse than my Lopunny. Hopefully it'll be okay with some professional help at a center. Lia, you can take off now to get it there. We can continue on here if there is still some time before dark. Unless we are done. Eve?"

That look from Kaeda seems to indicate Lia may have been a bit more ignorant than she thought.

Lia looks to Eve, and well Kaeda did save her while Lia didn't manage to do anything, so they'd be perfectly fine on their own.
"Nevermind. Just sorry to dip out early, as this was supposed to be our hangout day. Sorry, Eve!"
Lia leans down for a smooch to Kaeda, and whispers to her.
"Find the poor girl an Eevee, she did nearly get digested a few minutes ago. Cya babe."

Kaeda hopes that Lia can help that poor pokemon, but for now, Eve still needed an Eevee. So, they continued their Eevee hunting!

Eve had hung in the back as the bystander, unsure of what to do in this situation. However, once Lia disappeared, she shook herself back into reality just in time to see a menacing Electrike. "... Do you want to catch this one?"
