"*Yawn*" Jane expressed her energy levels loudly. Today had been well-filled, but she didn't look forward to walking all the way back to Saffron tomorrow. Maybe she should try and catch a bus instead? But that was a problem for tomorrow! Jane thought to herself as she sunk deeper into the borrowed bed at the Pewter pokécenter.

*Blink?* Jane glared at her alarm. Tomorrow already? Damn. She had hoped she'd get a bit more night. Why can't we have two nights per day or something sometimes? she asked herself. That would be really convenient. Maybe there was a spell or something for that somewhere ... *Yawn* Meh. A few more minutes, then she would have to get up.
About half an hour later Jane was actually up and about, eating breakfast and considering her day. First the obligatory hour of pokémon training of course. That was given. Then she'd visit the museum and look around to see if they knew anything about keystones - and see all the other cool things of course! And then lunch and a bus-trip back to Saffron, hopefully in time to catch Raven vs Family. She was a bit curious both on how strong the gym and Raven where; her list placed the Iron Fist badge quite late in the league. After that? Probably a bit more training - and maybe she'll give it a shot too?

Once Jane was finished with all the planning, training and eating she found herself at the museum doors. After paying the entrance fee, if any, she'd spend an hour or two just visiting all the exhibits. Even if she didn't have questions it'd still have been a good time! But since she had ... she looked around to see if there were any researchers or professors around (aka people in white science coats!) and asked. "Hello! Excuse me - but do you have a moment? I'm interested in learning a bit more about the pokémon Spiritomb and the Odd Keystone. Do you know where I can find anything about those?"

~~At Saffron Gym~~
Jane arrives just in time to see Raven and the Gym Leader fighting Mega vs Mega. Both have a partial advantage over one another, with Mega Gyarados' Dark-Typing blocking any psychic moves that Mega Medicham has. It's a tough battle, but Raven manages to eek out a victory by the skin of her teeth by laying her older sister out on the floor with a sweeping kick as Gyarados finishes off Medicham. Raven herself looks bloodied and bruised, so she obviously went all-in for this match. After the referee declares her and 'Maggie' the Gyarados the victors, she walks over and helps one of the Gym Trainers get Leader Satori off to the Gym's infirmary.
~~At the Pewter Museum~~
While there are no 'men in white coats' around, there is a museum employee Jane can talk to. They tell her that, unfortunately, they have no exhibits on the Odd Keystone, as this museum is more about the history of the Kanto region, not Sinnoh.

"Oh..." Jane looked a bit dejected. Buuuut it was worth a shot. Worst case scenario they just waited for their upcoming meeting. "Do you know if there is anyone that would know here in Kanto?"

Jane managed to at least see the last few moments of the match. That was something! Seeing as Raven didn't look super-duper talkative at the moment she settled for a cheer and a wave! "Goooo Raven!" before heading outside again. It didn't look like she could challenge the gym today anyhow - even if she was sure she wanted to do that.
Also this had reminded her of something else ... Mega pokémon! And how she didn't have one. Or knew much about how they worked. Probably something she should bring up the next time she met with Raven. Not that my team isn't awesome enough - but it could be awesome-r!

Twenty pull ups. Salena groans wildly. Ugh nooooo. Her bony arms and legs flail about wildly as she jerks her chin above the bar. PT was never her strong suit. Ever. Never, ever, ever, never, ever! But she wasn't about to get anywhere just lounging about all day. Now, she was going to be able to do that too eventually. Just... Not yet. Not until she earned the sweat on her brow! It was work, but it was necessary for her to really start building a routine. Just, one more go... Retraining Salena's Trainer Advancements to renege Special Attack Level Up bonuses and instead replace them with edges related to the type of Training one might receive from a Ninja. --- Still. It wasn't all lifting and work. On her break, Salena stops by the Celadon City library and picks out a few books to research. It was time she really thought about this stone, and perhaps other means of dealing with it. Maybe she could draw from inspiration from other relatively man-made or ancient Pokémon. There were no concrete ideas yet. But with a little work, maybe something might catch her eye... Nalkeya pops her head in on Salena briefly while they're taking a break and comments that if she thinks this training is hard, she has another thing coming.
"Once we've trained you at slightly above sea level here in Celadon, we're going to be heading on down to Fuschia, where my cousin, Anastasia, will be picking up your training and working you up a mountain (literally!). Look forward to it!" Nalkeya can barely contain her laughter at your horrified expression.

Oh well no more pidgey feeding. Might be for the better - Jane feared that she might waste too much of the daylight otherwise... She had training to do! And after a long hard day of that: sleep. Then it would be another day and she'd meet up with the others hopefully to explore the Rock Tunnel fully without any more incidents!

Sadly, Salena never does quite reach the summit. She collapses somewhere between the first base camp and the foot of the mountain a frothing mess. But at least she got her workout in! Kind of. Maybe. I mean, effort was put forth. It just wasn't a good one. No? Well alright then. She is more than happy when they make it back to Celadon where she collapses into heap. There was to be more work tomorrow for Rock Tunnel. Oh joy... PfP. I'll go ahead and do my time skips when I have a sec, that way nobody is held back. |

All right! Jane jumped out of bed. Exploration time. Well ... soon at least! She quickly headed to the shower, texting and trying to keep her pokédex out of the water. (Was it waterproof? Probably. Hopefully. But let's not tempt it shall we!) Heyya! Good morning everyone!
Let's meet by the Rock Tunnel entrance at high noon. Cerulian Side! See ya there!!

"NNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGAAAAAAHHHH." Moans Salena emphatically, rising from the grave of the Gym couch with the fury of a thousand unquiet souls. She did not make it to the Pokémon Center like she thought she would. Oh no. Nope. She passed out on the couch as soon as they made it back to the Gym. Ugh! It was all moist and- Eugh! She got up. Nobody in this place had any couch etiquette at all! Bidding her teacher farewell for the day, she escapes before the first victims roll in and gets down to business. First, ah! A text! Salena shoots back to Jane and Raven quickly. Absolutely! Today is the day! No ifs, ans, or butts about it! Let's do this right right! She checks again. Dang it. Typo snuck in. Ugh. That always bothered her a little bit. Gah, no worries. She was just a bit exhausted, that's all. But, she did have a few small things to take care of first. Her next messages are to the Move Tutor; short and sweet. Some of her Pokémon needed training, and for once, she had the funds to get it done. Mr. Brown is taught Phantom Force for 2000Poke. Buuuuut, when she thinks about it, she kind of wanted a place to stay. There. At the Ranch. She checks the listings, and finds someone who might be willing to set up a little villa at the Ranch. She smiles. Yeah. That might be a nice surprise! Salena puts a down payment on a Villa! She smiles. Ok! Business taken care of, she makes her way to Lavender Town. The others were going to be so excited!

All right all right all right! So many things to do! After her morning training session Jane swept by the dept. store for a Calm Mind TM and prepared to wire some money for a house. But ... she kept getting some weird error. Oh well, maybe another day she thought to herself as she hopped on a bus towards Cerulian. Eventually she found herself by the west end of the Rock Tunnel and sent out another text to Raven and Lavender. Heya! I'm at the pokécenter by the entrance. Just come by and poke me when you get here : ) |

"Awesome!" Jane exclaimed and did her best to dodge the pointy finger of doom. When did Lavender get so sneaky? That crash-course in ninja-ing at the gym must really have been giving results. Which sorta made her even more reluctant to ever go to that gym ... Oh well problem for Future Jane! Oh and there were Raven too! "All right! Let's pick up from where we were when ... uh. Anyhow! Let's roll out!"

"Yeah *mumble mumble*" Jane replies and uses the small lull to apply an Super Potion to Sam. She would rather just let her drink some Enriched Water and rest for a while - but she really couldn't justify holding up their expedition so soon!

"Pew!" Jane exclaimed after their victory over the Banette haunt. Pokémon down here was certainly stronger then the random run-of-the-mill wilds. And more organized too!
"Let's take 5 min. I need to tend to Sam!" she suggested and put down her backpack. Then, under Ana's supervision, she let Sam out of her ball and started applying some soothing balm from her first aid kit to the burns. "Better? Better."

After fuzzing with the Mawile for a while the worst of the Burn seemed to be taken care of (and Sam didn't want to sit still any longer!). Jane sighed and patted the small pokémon affectionately real quick before starting to pack her things again. "Hey. Anyone want some Enriched Water? Sam and I are gonna rehydrate a bit but I have plenty if you want some!"2d6
