Shossk
The Prismavian’s demeanor was rather chilly, to say the least, it didn’t appear overly hostile but it seemed to resent Shossk a bit. It began flapping its wings, building up the static charge within and puffing up the gaseous clouds that made up the vast majority of its plumage until it was sizzling and dark with charged electricity. As the miniature thunderhead churned around it, the Prismavian let out another quiet noise.
*Kroo.*
Yoko
Emerging from the Pokeball in a burst of light the agile Vivorin began hovering in the air near Yoko, whipping the air in rapid succession with its wings. Without a sound it looked deeply at Yoko, tilting its head it tried to size her up.

Seeing the Prismavian put on a threatening display, Shossk wordlessly raises his Dusk ball and recalls the bird. There was no reason to tolerate the risk it presented without the proper assistance.
He glances over at the snoozing Iris, walks over, and nudges her face with a gloved hand. "Are yyou awake, Iris? I am in need of your help."

"Mrpgh," some sort of mumble grunting about, "ten more..." but despite all that, Iris did open her eyes and sleepily sit back up after her face was nudged. Eyes trying to rapidly blink away the drowsiness she spent a good half a minute staring around at her surroundings for anything that could be of alarm. However, there was both nothing in her environment to hint at such alarm and nothing in the expressions of those around her. Rubbing her face with both hands to clear out the sleep eye gunk that had built up and just generally get the blood flowing to her brain, Iris asked, "Huh?".
Light, conveniently right behind Iris and out of her initial look around the place, peeked out momentarily to look up at her trainer.

"Thiss bird is uncooperative." Shossk states, presenting the pokeball with the problematic Prismavian. "I need you to nnegotiate with it."

Iris stood and stretched her body. "Um... Okay," she tried to think on her feet when her feet just sort of wanted to lie back down and go to sleep, "Alright, send it out and I'll try to see what I can do."
Upon the Prismavian's release, Iris would look up at the bird and extended a channel link to it. At least, she attempted to.

As the Vivorin emerged from the Poké Ball and started staring her down, Yoko could feel her heart starting to beat just a little bit faster, though she couldn't tell if it was out of fear or awe. Okay, Yoko, keep it together. This creature belongs to you now. Show it that you're the one in charge. Keep calm, and be assertive. Okay? You can do this. After giving herself a little pep talk in her mind, Yoko exhaled a calm and steady breath, and then looked at the Vivorin with a determined look and a confident smile. "Good evening, Vivorin. My name is Yoko Miyamoto, and starting from this moment, I am your Trainer (that's what we're called, right?). Let's get along, shall we?" she confidently announced to the Vivorin with the same radiance she had greeted the others with back when they first met, once again giving a stylish yet polite bow to the dragon creature.

Shossk and Iris
Prismavian emerges once more with a flash and cascade of sparks. Looking down at the pair before it with an annoyed glare. Shaking its head the static surging through the clouds surrounding it, pulsing electricity bursting around it. When Iris attempts to make contact she feels a slight resistance and then a burgeoning curiosity as the link is created. Tilting its head the Prismavian floods her head with questions. Who are they? What are they doing here? What is that strange world she had awoken to? Why was she being pulled in and out of it suddenly? Is your group like those that occasionally attack? Are you going to harm me? Why do I feel a tug toward this strange creature? And many more that begin to blur together as she gets more agitated.
Yoko
The Vivorin emerges from the Pokeball floating in the air, its wings a blur as it hovers in mid-air. Spinning around quickly to see if there is any danger around. As Yoko speaks it glances down at her with it's piercing eyes. It flits around her quickly, examining her in full detail, the wind from its rapidly flapping wings buffeting her with a constant burst of air. Once it seems satisfied it returns to its starting position. Giving a slight nod it begins to more deeply examine its surroundings, not paying too much attention to Yoko anymore.

In answer to the Prismavian's flood of questions, Iris kept her calm and tried to soothe the Prismavian's confusion with softly given answers. Instead of words, possibly harsh and foreign to a Pokemon, she conveyed her own memories, including the memories of the other Pokemon she had channeled in the past... Her Pokemon. Again, she felt like a hole had opened in her chest when she remembered her dear friends, lost to who knows where. Involuntary emotions like her sorrow would be carried through the link as unintentionally as their birth had been, but it would not impede the information. She and the other two with her were known as "trainers." They needed help from "Pokemon," other creatures they captured in "Pokeballs." The inside of the Pokeball was probably the strange world the Prismavian had awakened to, and hoping it would help, Iris shared the memories she saw from her own Pokemon about what the interior of the Pokeball was like and how the sudden pulls in and out of it were no cause for alarm. Often, to catch Pokemon, the would need to attack, so yes. In a way, they were like a group that attacked, but only because they needed to, and now that the Prismavian was captured, they wanted nothing more than to be friends with it. There was no intent to harm, and often times, the most common exchange of services was the Pokemon to help the trainer in return for being fed. The strange tug was a bond, created by the Pokeball, between the Prismavian and her trainer, the reptilian man. It could be the start of something very special and precious... The end shape of that bond was up to the two of them. Iris was just the translator. The questions after that, Iris didn't understand enough to really give a clear answer, but she tried to give extra snippets that might have been relevant.

Shossk simply stares at the thundercloud bird unhelpfully, occasionally glancing down at Iris, who seems to be engaging in her silent diplomacy.

Layl looked at everyone getting along with their Pokemon, or at least attempting to. Fantasia certainly wasn't acting the best right now, but Layl honestly didn't much care about it's personality. It could be abrasive if it wanted, as long as it helped in the end. Layl wasn't the type to lead, so her team probably wasn't getting much use out of her aside from training. She shook her head of those thoughts, going over to sit down while the rest did their things. "Tell me when we're heading out!" she said while plopping down on the ground in her safari gear.

As Iris attempts to explain the situation she can feel the Prismavian trying to understand, she has after all only known pain from interaction with the people that Iris is attempting to describe. Even without sadness bleeding into the conveyed thoughts the Prismavian is quite distraught, only deepening the feeling. Iris gets occasional flickers of thoughts bordering on the nostalgic, of flights across the breadth of the islands, of successful hunts for food or shiny trinkets, of finding comfort with others of her kind. But as Iris continues she can feel the bird slowly calm down, becoming more acclimated to the concepts. By the time she’s done, even with the half answers to the bird’s half questions, the Prismavian understood. The sadness was there but there was also a small feeling of hope that perhaps something may come of this too. Looking at Shossk she released a small sound.

Iris, too, looked at Shossk as she gently eased out of channeling the Prismavian to give it some privacy. Her feet responded in much the same way, slowly stepping backwards to give the two space. With eyes that moved from Shossk to the Prismavian, Iris tried to convey with words that he should respond.
Leaving the two at it, Iris glances over at Yoko and her Vivorin. If, by chance, she makes eye contact with either of them, she gives a smile and a thumbs up. Although, even without eye contact, she could kind of see that Yoko looked a bit overwhelmed, but the Vivorin seemed fine. Deciding that this would be a good experience, Iris left Yoko to it as well. Although, she did remain nearby, watching... mostly out of concern but it would be a lie to say that Iris didn't find some amusement in this.
Light inquisitively peeked out from the greenery behind Layl and sniffed at her. She growled a little at the scent of the other Zorua, but cut it mid-sound in surprise. Evidently, she was surprised at her own growl. With big eyes, the bashful Zorua looked up at the other Zorua's trainer, her shy way of greeting new people while her trainer was busy.

Though Shossk can see that Iris was successful in placating the Prismavian, judging from the way it now looks at him without it's previous air of aggression, Shossk's own response to the bird is unlikely to ease any lingering doubts it may have.
"We will desscend shortly," he states to the bird as a matter-of-fact, "once the others are prepared. Cann you douse your light? We do not wish to be sseen on the way down."

With a quick glance back at Iris the Prismavian takes a deep breath. Lowering its head slight it seemed to concentrate, the flickering lightning fizzles out and darkness closes in once more. It appears to be visibly concentrating to keep this state.

Layl blinks at Light, unsure what it wanted. It growled at her and then stared at her with those big eyes. If it wanted to act weird around her, she wasn't even going to bother with it. As cute as it was, it's color scheme offset any cuddly feelings she would have with it, much like her own Nacht.
"Are you just going to stare at me? Cause if you are, could you maybe be a bit more subtle? I know you have illusion magic, so you can definitely do subtle." Her voice was pretty stoic, after her scuffle down below, and the bird's own personality coming to light, she wasn't exactly sociable.

Light whimpered. Did no one like her? However, being the good Zorua she was, she obliged. She couldn't quite go invisible, but she tried her best. Her illusion capability went to work and suddenly instead of the normal black and red, her body changed to the colors of jungle camo, splotches of brown, black, tan, and green.

... wait, that's it? Just a nod of the head? Yoko had been expecting something more extravagant from the Vivorin than just a nod of the head, and as such she wasn't prepared for the simple gesture. To be honest, it left her quite stunned, and could only watch in stunned silence as the Vivorin inspected the environment.
Shossk's matter of fact statement helped Yoko come back to her senses though, and she did a once over to see that she still had all of her belongings on her. "I'm good to go when everyone else is," Yoko announced to the others, albeit apprehensively. The idea of ambushing others still didn't sit very well in her gut, but it was a group decision, so she had to go along with it.

"Thenn we are ready," Shossk affirms aloud. He steps over to the edge of the island to look down upon the campsite, tilting his head and swishing his tail thoughtfully. "Calt will ffind a safe place for us to land, near the encampment. Wwe will fly down two at a time, Iris and I with this one," he gestures to the Prismavian, "and Layl and Yoko on hers.""Oncce we land, we will approach and... sspeak with them," Shossk says with a noticeable pause, looking to Iris. Shossk had stated his preference for ambushing the group without warning, but the group had decided against it for reasons he could not understand. Whatever those reasons were, however, they were important to the humans. That was all he needed to understand for now. "We will fight iff they are hostile. If they are not thenn...," Shossk trails off. He had not considered what would happen if the group below does not attack them. He blinks, then blinks again, a slight tightness in his chest beginning to form. "Then we will nnot fight."Calt flutters down from a nearby branch shortly after, and, once plans are made and shared (and maybe once Iris channels Calt?), he swoops down to the island below. The predatory avian of the night soundlessly scouts the forest below, likely to spot any danger and unlikely to be seen in return.

With everyone ready and still under the impression that Light was in her Pokeball, Iris voices her assent to Shossk's plans, "Right, but Shossk, at least let your Prismavian relax while Calt is scouting. It looks like keeping its lights off takes some effort." She gestures over to the obviously, to Iris at least, focusing Prismavian. In the meantime, ever the multitasker, Iris channels Calt, and readies herself to lose her vision so she can clearly see from Calt's point of view.

Shossk glances down at Iris, then back to the Prismavian. In fact, Shossk had not realized it was straining to darken itself.
"Relax," Shossk parrots Iris' recommendation to the bird.
He then turns back to the forest below and to his own thoughts.
