The locals try to line you up to take the boats but most did not have the patience for that they simply ran to the boats. you guys notice that a little motor boat is being ignore and jump on it the mob sees it. " Well hello their, guess we better get started before everyone else notice us." said a twenties something year old women dress in simply swimsuit as she start the motor and heads to land. " we wont be heading straight to grape city as i need to pick something up more south so if you want you can stay on until i have to leave or you can start your adventure their. i am sure the professor down their has something you can use and besides that way you dont have that mob on your tail fighting for the gym" as you decide your choice you see that you are heading south while the others are heading straight towards a river entrance. you see that Atherton is covered in trees or at least from what you can see as the beach give straight away to a forest. in the water you see some fish Pokemon moving with the boat.
A little time later you arrive at a small port in a town with large wooden wall surrounding it. " I going to be about an hour, so use this time to figure if you want to start here or not. if you do simply go to that house on the hill and talk to Palm he help you. besides that be back in a hour if you want to go to Grape." she walks away after saying this. you see that the their seems to be a farmers market in the middle of town going on at the moment, besides that you see the House on the hill the only really thing that different about it is that it newer looking, the only other noticeable building is the mansion to you left is stand out compare to all the medieval looking house.
So what do you guys do?

A young man with ice blue eyes watches the fish Pokemon as the boat sails through the open water. When they hit land, he gets out of the boat and stretches his legs by walking around for a minute close to the boat. He stretches his arms and back for a moment before turning his gaze towards the town.
"I think we should still head to Grape, I mean we need to get registered as Trainers and pick up our PokeDexes..." his voice is a little on the deeper side as he faces the others still near the boat. "I don't think it would hurt to look around a little, do you?"

The next person to disembark looks to be about fifteen or sixteen years old. He has shaggy black hair, equally black clothes, and a sheathed sword buckled to his belt at the back, parallel to the ground. Clipped to his hip is a ring of four keys that jingles slightly as he walks. His bright green eyes appear cold as he surveys the town he's found himself in. "I don't see a need to go to the city," he says, his voice lower and smoother than would be expected from his youthful appearance. "If we go back there, we'll just be caught up in the mob of other new trainers. Soon, there probably won't even be any Pokemon left to catch. We should capitalise on this head start." After speaking, he glances up to the house indicated by the woman who had brought them here, "Besides, that woman said the man Palm would help us. I'm sure that means he has Pokedexes, or something along those lines."

The last person to disembark staggers a bit as she leaves the boat. Her lizard-like green eyes dart between the two young men before her, listening to what they both had to said. Hera, her Combee, flutters beside her and lands on her shoulder, as she preferred to stay out of her Pokéball whenever she could.
"I'm going to have to agree with... Blake, was it?", she said struggling to remember the names of the two people she had just met. "I'd prefer this town to the cramped streets of Grape, and I don't want to get stuck waiting with all the new trainers."
Narcia hated big cities. She hated the noise and bustle, the narrow streets, and most of all, the thousands upon thousands of people, all swarming around her haphazardly, without any unity or semblance of order.
"We should go talk to Palm. I don't know too much about the procedures of becoming a new trainer, but maybe he could give us our first Pokédex? It's worth a shot, at least."

Head to the hill you see that the market is filled with more pokemon then people you see zigzaggoons run everywhere running with baskets filled with fruit and berry. You see the few people are not even batting a eye as those pokemon hand them money from their mouth. You see stalls filled with row of berrys but the stall take stick out the most is the meat stall as you see a collection of homedge and it evolution in vastly different shapes some look like rapier, broadswords, or the largest of them is simply a meat cleaver. The fee people smile and wave asking if you like free samples and are you new here, everyone seems cheerful. Getting closer to the hill you see that it has a small white fence enclosing the hill you see a staircase leading up to the top and at the bottom you see an elderly woman working in a garden with a couple of oldish and glooms.

Narcia smiled at the Pokémon scurrying at her feet, and turned to Hera, who observed silently. They both felt much more at home now that they were among Pokémon.
"This is more like it. I'm glad we didn't go to Grape."
As they walked further along the market, they passed by the region's famous selection of berries, but ignored them for their more pressing matters. Maybe they could come back later and buy some Orans or Pechas for the road. Eventually, the group came across an old woman tending to a group of Grass-type Pokémon. Narcia approached her cautiously, careful not to trigger any Stun Spores or Poison Powders from the old woman's Pokémon.
"Excuse me," she said. "Do you know Palm? We were told that he might be able to help us out. We're new trainers to the region."

The walk through the town was quite interesting. It seemed people here were freer with their Pokemon than back home. I could probably let Deus loose to go collect some keys...He took particular interest in the stand that appeared to be selling specialised Honedges, cringing as he remembered how he had to leave most of his belongings behind, and so could not afford one. Maybe I'll come back tonight...
For the most part, Blake just nodded in response when the locals talked to them, though if his companions had nothing to say, he would occasionally mumble something. Upon arriving before the old woman, he nodded in confirmation as Narcia spoke, contributing, "It was a woman that told us to meet him. The pilot of a boat from Coconut city. I didn't actually catch her name.

Walking through town with the others, Brad watched the comings and goings of the people and Pokemon. He would nod in the affirmative that he was new when asked, but would stay with the group so he didn't get lost. No telling what being one lone foreign trainer would be like here. At least people seemed nice so far.
"Pleasure to meet you ma'am. My name is Bradley, Kingston," smiles Bradley. "The woman who told us that Palm would be able to help us is about this tall," he uses his hand to show her height, "early twenties. Owns a motorboat and apparently does pick up and delivery runs..."

The old lady does not skip a beat replaying " oh so Niki already her, well i better make sure she not ripping my daughter off again" as she gets up " OK everyone back into place" with a clap, out of no where a pumpkinboo, sudowoodo, and an Aegislash appear and create a scarecrow. "cant let those pesky birds into my garden, so your looking for Palm he should be around here some where/" she finish dusting off her clothes. you see that she taller then you though easily 6'1 in height. after a few moment you here like a cry for help coming from the hill turning you see a group of Vileplumes carrying a older gentlemen with what could only be described as a Oddish hair style is unceremoniously thrown in front of you landing face first into the dirt. " that will be 700 Pokedollars" the old women hand is out towards him.
" You know, i would of came if you just yelled my name right." the man said getting up and handing the money over. seeming not to notice you he start to go back to the hill until the old women does a load cough " what else do you need" he says not really in the mood to deal with this, the old women simply points at you guys and leaves. " Oh hello there sorry did not notice you, let me guess your here for my autograph for my book the proper balance of pokemon to human ratio." you see that his eye light up with this. he wave for you to follow him up the hill to the lab and the whole way up he quotes his book not letting you guys get a word in the whole 20 or so minutes it takes. " As such i came to this region to see how the natural balance is with the way it is and it incredible how even after all these year it has still not balance out" he finishes once your in side. you see that most of the equipment is cover in a small layer of dust but you do see that on a desk their are older looking pokedexs and maps. Palm simply stares at you for a few seconds before he runs off to get refreshments.

Blake listened closely to the old man as they made their way up the hill to his home. A lot of the information is lost to the speed at which Palm is speaking, but he does manages to pick out a few interesting details on the region. It seems they're having trouble with their Pokemon population. That explains what happened thirty years ago.
Upon entering the house, Blake realised it would be more accurately described as a lab. "Thank you Professor Palm," Blake said, taking a safe bet as to the man's profession. "That was quite interesting. In fact, I do have a few questions I'd like to ask you, but first, I have to tell you, we're not actually here for your autograph. We're new trainers in the region, and a woman named Niki said you'd be able to help get us on our feet."

"We were actually wondering if you had any Pokédexes for us to use." said Narcia bluntly, eyeing the dusty equipment in the corner. "We haven't fully completed our trainer registration."

"oh, i see" his face turns from pure joy to kind of sadness, as he puts a plate of fresh Lemonades down. " well then, i guess that means your the new trainers being invites, OK well i have these old ones" he walks to his desk and picks up what looks like last generation Pokedexs " you can have them, what else do you need, um do you have a Pokemon or poke-balls. Because i think i can get you a free one if you like although it would take some time." he now looks determined as you can see and idea come across his eyes. " question you guys think you can do something for me, it really a simply thing" he is not talking super fast as he running around turning on his old machines and seeming to have a new drive. He stops " ok before i get to far ahead of my self here what i want you guys to do, you see Ghost and Dragon types have nearly disappeared from this region for a group of reasons. and i would like to see if during your adventure though out this land if you can see the ecologically damage it caused, as the local authority have been trying to stop me at every corner. Dont worry they are just trying to keep me out of the picture as i may of ticked them off but i have not doing anything illegal." he now red as they get as he realized he probably not making a good case for himself. he disapper once more and come back out with a hand full of pokeballs and maps that look about as old as the town you are in " if i still have your attention i mostly want you to find this place", pointing towards the mountains to the south at a small village without a name " i believe it still exist yet it is not on any modern map and i believe that the surviving dragon types are hidden out in it so can you pls help me, i will do anything to help" he seem to be truly desperate to get help.

Narcia looked Palm's pleading eyes. She felt bad for him, and knew they'd be traveling the region anyway, so she agreed.
"Sure, we can check it out for you." she said. "We already have some Pokéballs and starter Pokémon, so there's no need for you to help us any more than you already have."

Letting the others talk, Bradley watches as the Professor comes back with the maps and Pokeballs, his eyes seem to light up a bit. "That sounds like fun. I am looking forward to helping. Besides, the loss of both Ghost type and Dragon types can mean that there is something bigger at play. Be it ecological changes or something more. SO... count me in..." He holds his hand out for Professor Palm, "My name is Bradley Kingston from Kalos."

Hmmm...Ghost and Dragon type Pokemon have been on the decline. I wonder if that has anything to do with the government bringing in all the Dark and Fairy types. Blake spent a minute musing over the Professor's words until he was snapped back to attention by Narcia, "Actually sir," he began, attempting to salvage the conversation, "while we do have Pokeballs already, we could certainly use more. With how Aetherton is, I doubt we'll be able to restock too frequently, and if we're going on such a long journey for you, we may need a few extra."
Despite the girl's lack of opportunism, it did seem that they would still be making out with a free PokeDex each at the very least, and with the added bonus of not having to be registered trainers. This certainly wasn't starting out too badly. "My name's Ferris," Blake said, extending a hand to the man. "I look forward to working with you."

with a giant smile he gives each of you 5 more pokeballs, "Thank you, now i don't know if you know this, but Cornucopia village is know for it food and i sure that while it wont be as large scale as something Grape city can do but we will make a welcome party just give me a couple of hours." he says leaving " so just stay around to till night, enjoy the local sights or go into the forest their are some Pokemon their, just even if you don't stay the night don't be out in the forest at night, OK please don't." he leaves at thsi point heading into the market square you see the village before you and the forest around you. The way is now free.
So the question is now, where do you go?

Narcia didn't really like the parties she had back home. They were stuffy and usually indoors, filled with people and not too many Pokémon. But she imagined that a party in this town might be different, if it was anything like the market she'd seen earlier.
"I think a party sounds nice." she said. "But in the meantime, want to check out the forest? We could use some training for our Pokémon."
While she liked the town, she also missed the forest and was looking forward to meeting new types of Pokémon native to the Atherton region.

"I think training sounds like a good idea," Blake said, to the other two, now alone in Professor Palm's house. "This might seem strange, but I've never actually battled with Deus before...My Klefki." As he spoke, he was glancing around the room, "That said, you two go on ahead. I need to find the professor's bathroom. I'll catch up."
Blake then headed out of the room, walking casually, but as soon as he was out of sight of the rest of his group, dropped into a crouch, quieting his footsteps. He didn't want to risk being caught already, and judging by what he'd seen earlier, it was very possible that the Professor would just have random Pokemon living all over the place in his home. As he moved, he was scanning the rooms he passed through for anything of value he could smuggle out. Palm had helped them, so he didn't want to take too much, but at the same time, being left alone in someone else's house was too good an opportunity to pass up. Let's see what you've got, Professor...

Bradley shrugs and turns to Narcia, "Training could be fun. It's been a while since Aurora and I have had a good battle." He extends a hand to Narcia. "Pleasure to meet you, by the way. Looks like we may be working together for a while." He heads for the door and opening it before turning back, "Think Ferris will be okay on his own?" He holds the door open for Narcia.
Once they are through the door, he will start heading towards the closest tree line, waving at any villagers that they pass. Might as well try to be friendly...
Once in the forest, Bradley will begin looking for Pokemon.

Ferris was taking an unusually long time to go to the bathroom, so Narcia got bored of waiting awkwardly with Palm and went with Bradley after he invited her out.
"Yes, it seems like it. I'm sure he'll be fine." she said to Bradley.
As they were walking through the market, Narcia decided that they might as well wait for Blake before they entered the forest, just in case they encountered any hostile Pokémon. She found the market interesting, but didn't really want to buy anything, so she wondered if she could perhaps find an item through another means.
"Hera, would you mind looking around for something?" she asked. "This place seems like it could have something unique."
