Freya generated a proper whirlwind from her wings, a great deal larger than the dirt devils she's conjured earlier, and launched it at the Geodude nearest Hura. Freya shifts and attacks Geodude 2

Midna's brow wrinkled. Well, she had tried to send some help Frank's way. At least he had his group under control if the broken rock was anything to go by. She tries a further burst of thought, surely that would finish off the meddlesome stone on the path. Confusion vs Geodude 2 Confuses 19+ AC 2 vs lvyHg1aW1d20 2d6+25 Special Psychic Damage 1d20·2d6+25

Freya glared at the rocks, than moved in to snatch Hura up and out of harms way once more, waiting for an opportunity to strike again.
"Our crocodile and his beastservant look to be in peril." she observed aloud, with a bit more clarity this time. Evidently the weight was something she was getting used to. "It's your body I'm tossing about, so I'll leave it up to you as to where I aim it."

Getting toted around by a bat was an interesting change of pace. So was being asked who he'd like to fight, but that usually happened anyways... Well, face forward, horn-thingy at the ready, and... "Sure, throw me thataway, let's save our crocodile-friend!" As he careened toward the next target, the beetle wondered if that musclebound humanoid would think he was getting too close to its master. Hopefully not, there were more annoying things to swat. Freya and Hura launched the beetle-ball once more, so treating the following rolls as though under Helping Hand. Hura uses Peck on Geodude 4. With the last round of attacks, the rock people fall and crumble into dust. The boulders continue to roll past and reset and roll again. You all feel like you have a moment to collect your thoughts but it doesn't fell like it's 'safe' to stay for long.
[All who participated gain a Misc xp and 24 poke xp. Those with allied pokemon can split that xp however they wish between them and the pokemon. In addition, those pokemon get 12 extra xp that only goes to them]

Midna brushes herself off. She hadn't been really all that close to the actual fighting but it was the principle of the the thing. She glances as a boulder trundles past the group again, "We can't really stay here for long. Who knows if whatever's doing this will change their course again." She looks further up the path, it looked like an absolutely dreadful slog still.
"Keep an eye out for any other stranger rocks," she says over her shoulder, "Running into more of those would be quite the nuisance."

Frank grimaced a bit from the pain in his side, but nodded to Midna. "I agree, although those rocks weren't so tou-oh geez..." Frank turns to look at Peter, who is covered in gravel speckled over a gaping wound, and is breathing heavily. "Shit. Some of us got hurt worse than others. Hey Chell, would you mind sharing some of our medicine? If not for me, than for our new friend here?"
(Regardless of her answer and subsequent dialogue, he too begins the ascent up the mountain and away from rocky danger.)

Looking upon the crumbled husks of their defeated foes, Hura was sad. Though they had been enemies, bested in combat, rocks didn't taste very good. To go through all that, without even a snack for their troubles!
While vaguely curious whether Chell would part with one of her healing potions, the beetle was more concerned with making its way up the mountain before any less-than-useless rocks came their way. And to ensure that his escape-bat was at the ready, that meant trekking up on his own.
All the same, Hura set off at a brisk... crawling pace, ready to natter at the Big Voice when they finally found it!

Chell humphs as the rock creature goes down, before wincing slightly as her wounds begin to sting. Ignoring Frank for the moment, she quite purposefully takes out both bottles of potion, applying one to herself, before waiting for a few moments before tossing the other bottle to Frank, if perhaps slightly too forceful. Using Potion on myself, healing 20 HP Passive aggressively handing the other Potion to Frank

Midna almost let's out a sigh of relief. Chell finally gave up some of her hoard. It was almost a miracle. "Well they were tough but easy enough to roll over," Midna quips at Frank, "The rock heads back home could knock your block off." Her voices loses much of the jovial tone, "Course, they were different too."

Frank wiped a claw over the wound of his injured ally to shake off the majority of the detritus clinging to the gash, and for a moment he stared at his hand, with the blood dripping freely. He seemed to shake his head as though to jar himself back into reality, and then spritzed the medicine on the wound. Nearly instantaneously, it began to close, and once completed, only the tiniest hint of a laceration remained, although Peter still seemed to unconsciously favor that side as he walked silently behind Frank. "That medicine is incredible! I've never seen anything like that! Back home, a wound like that would have put you in the hospital, at least for a day or two. Had it been enough to knock him unconscious, you might expect weeks of recovery, if you ever fully recovered. We have to find more of these magical elixirs! That is, unless they're relatively common where you all come from? Perhaps my world is just more lethal than yours?" At that moment, Frank's stomach lets out a loud gurgle. "On a totally unrelated note, it has been ages since I have eaten, and a spider does not make for the best of meals. I sure hope once we ascend this mountain and put this all behind us, I can enjoy a nice rack of ribs. Maybe we'll find more of that medicine I can take home with me."

"All this war and mayhem you lead brave men and women into and your people haven't White Magic and Potions to recover with?" Freya dusted herself off, looking fairly well off despite the encounter.
"I can't imagine the suffering your soldiers must endure if the worst of their hurts are eased the way a lowly beast tends to its own." She shook her head and made an odd "O" shape with her wings. "We Dragoons are even taught some rudimentary healing magic to ease minor hurts. Harnessing the spirits of the drakes we slay, supposedly. It's a shame the dream left that detail out."
She scanned over the rest of the group, in search of anyone in need of help scaling the mountain now that the fighting was over.

Midna looks thoughtful as the pair begin to discuss medicinal matters. She'd never really paid much attention to them before and she doubted many of her people had either. There wasn't much dangerous in the Twilight Realm. But hadn't Link fared well after suffering so much abuse and managed to be fine after eating those odd jellies. And Zelda had...
She shakes her head and joins in,"I don't know the details but such things exist where I'm from as well. Although it isn't so...misty. But it could just be that humans from his world aren't as robust. They can't use magic after all." She can scarcely believe that Freya is still holding to the dream theory. Whatever keeps the woman moving.

Being quick and careful to not get crushed by the boulders and to leave rather quickly, you all ascend the mountain. Reaching the top you notice that the 'cap' of the mountain has seemingly been sheered off. It could be natural but a quick glance at the even 'cut' along the top says otherwise. Up here the lightning is nearly blinding coming down in a concentrated beam into where used to be the cap of the mountain. In between strikes you dare to peer over the edge... And see what absolutely can't be natural.
The first thing that grabs your attention is the reinforced almost tesla-coil looking device right in the exact center. You'd assume this is where the lightning strikes but sticking around to make sure would blind you, probably for a while. The next thing is what the coil is sitting on, which is a strong looking metal plate covering the entire section of what used to be the cap of the mountain. One small piece of it sticks out, which seems to be a protruding trap door. Just large enough for one of you to get by, single-file.

Chell shields her eyes from the flashes as she reaches the top of the mountain, taking a few moments to look at the tesla coil-like machine, before spotting the trap door. Quickly walking up to it, she opens it and peers in, before shrugging and jumping in (assuming she didn't spot anything overly threatening, at least). Talk of all this medicine and healing had been, in a word, boring! Call it a lingering grudge, but most of his kind had bad, bad experiences with such curative abilities.
The machine at the top of the mountain, though, that was interesting. Too bad it was (probably) drawing in lightning like nobody's business. That one was definitely a lingering grudge... Well, birds weren't very common inside of mountains, so assuming their bunny-friend didn't become a fried bunny-friend, Hura would follow along at the next opportunity.

Accustomed as she'd grown to flying, Freya opted to stay on the ground for the rest of the trip up as a sort of rearguard, stopping to stare back down the cliff face every so often.
