Greetings everybody! ClockworkBen here. It's been almost a year since I last tried running a game here, and several months since the last posts. I ran into some huge personal life issues, and I needed to take a break from gaming. That all said, I've gotten over that hill, and everything that was an issue is now no longer an issue. With that in mind, I figured it's high time I jumped back into the gaming scene once more. So, I've decided to reopen and reboot my Z-Force Emergence game. As a reboot, many aspects have changed, and some of the story and structure will be different. Some of the rules will have changed, but the game remains a more simple and vanilla one.
Every player I've had in the past in any of my older attempts may return with their original submissions updated to fit any new rules. They will be accepted without delay, and will be welcomed back warmly if they wish to play once more. I'll consistently check this thread each day, as I will pretty much be keeping recruitment open indefinitely, thanks to the new structure I've created that allows me to do so.
As always, feel free to ask me any questions and stuff you may have, and I'll answer whatever is asked. For a quick way to contact me, add me on Skype if you haven't already (clocktowerben), and I can add you to any relevant group conversations for this game. Alternatively, let me know in your post, or in a Private Message, and I can get you in as well.
Backstory
20 years ago, there was war across the young region of Eisen. A great evil manifested itself in a Malamar known only as Zoltan, and with his supreme intellect, he goaded Team Chain and Team Liberty, two diametrically opposed organizations of Humans, into a scuffle that threatened all who lived there. With this front in play, he conducted his plan to subvert the Humans that he despised, and thus control the entire region, which would be his stepping stone to the world. However, Zoltan himself was discovered by many Trainers, whose heroic deeds stopped the fighting between Team Chain and Team Liberty, and gathered together the 18 Type Diamonds. The reigning Diancie of the underground Diamond Kingdom took these gems and weakened Zoltan enough to allow the Trainers to battle him and seal him away. In the aftermath of the event, the Humans rebuilt what was lost, and both Team Chain and Team Liberty lost their expanding influence. All seemed well now, and Diancie returned to oversee her Kingdom, seeing to it that each Type Diamond was returned to where it belonged.
Over time, Team Chain evolved into the Golden Link Order, and Team Liberty became the Pokemon/Human Liberation Alliance. The two began once again to spar with each other, seemingly unprovoked, but with the advancements within the region, the League too had evolved a splinter operation: The Eisen Intelligence Agency. Dedicated to preventing the events of 20 years ago from ever reoccurring, they sponsored several Trainers to take the Eisen League Challenge as a guise to investigate the two warring groups, and uncover whatever their plans are, as well as to uncover what could be behind their renewed rivalry. If anything was found, the Trainers would be asked to thwart those plans, and put a stop to them. In the meantime, a shadowy force works behind the scenes, though they seem relatively harmless. Their motives remain a mystery to all who meet them as well, which has drawn the Eisen Intelligence Agency's attention.

Eisen Region
Eisen was a new land that was settled by several notable innovators from across the known world thus far, and from there, has steadily grown into a region in its own right. However, tumultuous times almost ended the dream. Fortunately, when everything was settled, development resumed, leaving the region with the League it was now establishing. The region itself is home to eight major cities, several smaller towns, and plenty of unexplored areas.
As was expected by many, those who'd cause trouble have banded together, and the region is home to two warring teams: the Golden Link Order, a group centered on establishing Human dominance over Pokemon and their powers, and the Pokemon/Human Liberation Alliance, who seek to completely eliminate anything that would drive a wedge between Human and Pokemon equality. Their smaller sizes generally kept them out of the spotlight for a time. Contests, musicals, and movies, are all popular art forms, and participation generally elevates one to a spotlight across the region.
The technology is decidedly modern, with some areas of advancement. Everything has been recently receiving a coat of Steampunk paint so to speak. This focus however does lend some suspicion towards those who are more primal in their powers, and creates an uneasy conflict with some religious folks.

Prior qualifying applicants do get priority, as I stated before, should they report in. However, I'll be accepting any number of qualifying applicants, so feel free to apply. Recruitment will remain open indefinitely. That should about cover everything. Note also that combat will happen at a roughly equal balance to exploration. I may also choose to allow or disallow specifics involved in the Playtest Packets and Homebrew, so consider those as being very free flowing when they do come up. Thanks for any interest!
