Rei's about two seconds from shouting at the bat to just fall already as she can't seem to be strong enough to take it out. Regardless, she keeps trying. Magnes is feeling a little woozy, all these attacks seem to be taking it's toll. It seems to have enough energy to fire off another shot. As Rei gets bit, both of them try to take down the final bat. Duch uses Night Shade! hEhFniHi1d20
But it seems both of them are not needed. Rei breathes a sigh of relief before pulling out her med-kit to heal the poison she feels. 2d6Rei then goes over to Maya. "Here. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get over to block any of those attacks. They were a little too fast and vicious and I was attempting to take out the one in front of me. I've got healing supplies for you."1d20·2d6

Maya is naturally more worried about Vibrava, who took the brunt of the attacks. She knows it's a tough little dragon, so it'll be fine with some rest. Nonetheless, she accepts the healing gratefully.
The next area has a bunch of... floating chandeliers? Maybe they're related to Clay's lamp post.

Rei works on healing Maya up, but while she does so, she feels something missing. Oh right, Duch is still out. She turns to look for her own Haunter after she finishes and finds no ghostie.
"Oh no. Duch? Where are you?"
She hopes he's not trying to play a trick or something. This is not the ti-
"Ahhhh!"
Rei shrieks as a dark purple mass surprises her. She calms immediately as she hears a slightly familiar laughing. She pulls the thing off her face, about to say that Holly's Haunter is a bad influence on him when the ghost she's holding is different.
"Duch?"
The newly evolved? ghost smiles and cackles before tapping the apricorn ball and returning itself. Rei blinks a few times in confusion before just shaking her head at her ghost's antics. She just moves on.
...immediately into more ghosts! But these look familar. Is this what Clay's would evolve into? She makes a mental note to draw it to show Clay before throwing out Shinpuru for the fight. She buffers her spiritual defenses as the fight begins.

yCzNH9ZQ6d6+2As the ghosts begin to move, Rei runs in the way, and takes the attack for Shelgon to avoid it falling the same way as Vibrava. She takes it, then is burned, and then takes a second. Rei blinks in surprise as these HUGE rock creatures accost them. This is going to be a very tough battle, she can already tell. She swallows her nerves before sending out Magnes into the fight and then bolstering her defenses. She's going to have to try to soften them up for Maya and her dragons in order to give the real damaging side of their group the edge. Rei uses Yoroi step!
