As Rei sees the slumbering beast, she knows this is going to be a fight. A big one. She can't take the time to dance around, work on wearing it down and bolstering her defenses. Luckily, she has an option to speed things along. Her old friend Zumu pops out, wondering what's been happening while he's been balled, before seeing the giant and focusing in on it. But Rei stops him. "Zumu, stay here a moment. That new trick that person at the guild taught you. Use it."Zumu nods before beginning to head over before Rei stops him again. "No, Zumu. On me. Use it on me."Zumu cocks his head to the side, very confused, but goes 'well alright' and hits Rei with a small harmless-looking beam! Rei's power seems to get a little... simpler. She then does her defensive dance, even with a bonus that resembles Shinpuru's dance, and looks way stronger after. Zumu uses Simple Beam on Rei!
Rei's Spinning Dance changes to Simple!
Rei then uses Yoroi Step, with a Power Pirouette bonus to Attack as well. Simple doubles both. |

The grumpy Snorlax pounds on its belly in a rhythmic manner. It seems to weaken itself slightly, but the look on its face shows its serious now.
Snorlax used Belly Drum! It cut its own HP to maximize Attack!
Fraxure desperately slashes at the beast.

Zumu runs forward, but keeps distance for the moment. He kicks up a cloud of dust into the Snorlax's face! Meanwhile, Rei is running off her newfound power, approaching quickly and continuing to power herself up with the magic of dance! Sand Attack vs Snorlax

Seeing the thing just fall asleep, Rei gets confused but sees Maya still attacking, so she continues as well. Seeing the strength of this thing, Zumu knows he's not going be the most help, so he pops back in the ball, and out pops the deadly doof warrior in his place! Rei pulls out her blade from the umbrella, and steps forward, and takes a slash! Zumu uses up his action to trade for Shinpuru!
Rei uses Struggle vs Snorlax!

Rei is hit, and is shocked to find the Snorlax seemed to just plain ignore her defensive boosts! How did it- Nevermind. Don't think about it now.Regardless, she continues to strike at it, while Shinpuru readies for boosting of his own. Rei Struggles!

Rei sees the creature stare her down, and holds a moment. This pokemon doesn't seem like anything that might help her or Tiki, but it's a chance for Wir to get some practice! The Tyrogue needs some help, now that he's seen a bunch of stronger fighting types the other day. She releases Wir, who steps right into battle! Wir uses Fake Out!
