As the guard opens the way to the dungeon levels, he reminds Rei that she has 24 hours starting from the moment she enters the dungeon proper at the bottom of the stairs. After that time, a Psychic will seek her out to ensure she departs. She is free to leave at any time, merely needing to return to this door and knock to let the guard on duty know she is there. Once Rei acknowledges this, she and Holly are let into the dungeon proper. Once the door is secured behind them, Holly shivers a little.
"There is a very large amount of negative spiritual energy here. You know, like ghosts. Human ghosts though, not Pokemon. A lot of people died down here it seems. We should be extra careful. I don't know if they can affect us or not."

After patching themselves up a bit from the Gastly fight, Rei and Holly move on to the next area. In this area, there is an oddly human-shaped lump of rubble lying in an alcove.

Holly is very confused as to why these "rocks" look to be lying in the shape of a human. Closer inspection reveals that it is, in fact, not a pile of rubble, but a camouflage blanket made to look like a pile of rubble! There is a very faint snoring coming from beneath the faux-rubble.

Well Rei doesn't really want to interrupt their slumber, even if it is the Doctor's assistant. Rei decides to move on for now, being quiet as to not wake them.

Room 7 turns out to be an old, disused execution chamber, complete with a rusty guillotine standing prominently in the center of the room. As if with a sense of dramatic timing, the moldy, worn out rope holding the death machine's blade up suddenly snaps, sending the blade crashing down with a loud bang, startling Holly into combat mode. Despite this, the rest of the machine seems to hold up well, despite its apparent age. There are several human spirits lingering in the area that Holly claims to sense, and Rei definitely gets a palpable sense of dread from just the room itself. A lot of people were killed in here, and though their spirits linger, they don't seem visible to either the girls or their Pokemon.
Room 11 is a short hallway lined with alcoves. Within these alcoves are statues made in the shape of a larger form of that 'Golett' Pokemon that was used by that one researcher person who claimed she'd been down here before. They also look to be wielding larger versions of Holly's sword combined with a shield. Even if Rei can't recall Sorra mentioning her own previously (it *was* just briefly, after all), Holly confirms that they are indeed depictions of the final stage of Honedge, called Aegislash. She doesn't recognize the other things though, having never seen Golett before.

After defeating the Haunters and picking up a new, random item, Team Reilly enters room 14. This room is much more decorative than any of the others so far. It kinda reminds one of the entrance hall just one level above. In fact, it seems a lot like it's... an old throne room? What, did they just build the current castle atop this one or something?

Holly decides to be cheeky and sits Rei down on the "throne" in the center of the room. She giggles as she declares Rei to be her Queen and she the loyal Knight!

Rei giggles at Hollys antics to cheer her up. Good thing is that its working. Rei rests her head on her knuckles and crosses over her legs in a comically over the top fashion.
"I suppose I am now, my loyal knight."
Rei winks.

Holly exaggeratedly ponders what she wants to ask of her 'Queen' before requesting a kiss from her. When her request is granted, she plops down in Rei's lap and begins to make out with her for awhile. Just a short while though. This isn't exactly the best place to get too intimate.

Rei laughs and gives Holly what she wants. The kiss. And then more for a bit, but not too long. Holly is right, this place isn't a good place to get intimate, but it was a fun little break. Rei does feel a little better now.
After finishing, they head on.

In the next room that they enter stands a small desk, littered with papers. Unlike the other rooms, this one isn't covered in dust, and has a "modern" lamp powered by magic sitting on it for light. At the desk is a young woman, who seems entirely fixated on her varied papers. Right next to the desk, serving as an extra place to put papers by holding a piece of flat wood, is a Golett. This must be that same person from before! After all, Rei only knows the one person with a Golett. Oh wait, does that mean that she's also Doctor Calthor's assistant? He did say she was down here, after all, even if he failed to offer details about what she looked like.
