Holly giggles when Rei facepalms, obviously having guessed the source of her frustration. She is joined shortly by Kopi, who will take any excuse to laugh at poor Rei's expense. Kopi also begins pestering Piesc for no other reason than his own amusement.
Kopi: "Hey, dog-face!"
Piesc: *growls softly in aggravation*
Kopi: "Dog-face, over here!"
Piesc: *tries to ignore Kopi*
Kopi: "Dog-breath! Hey, Dog-breath!"
Piesc: *continues trying to ignore Kopi unsuccessfully*
Kopi: "Hey-"
Piesc: "WHAT?!"
Kopi: "Hi." *begins snickering*
Piesc: "I will murder you in your sleep, bird."
Kopi: "Be waiting a long time then. I don't sleep!"
Piesc: "..."
Kopi: "Krow-pi! Bwahahahaha!"
Piesc grumbles and announces that the break is over and they should move on before they wear out their welcome with the Gogoat herd. Before leaving, however, it occurs to Holly that Piesc should ask the herd if they know where these Blaziken they're looking for live. Piesc facepalms in a manner similar to the way Rei had only a few minutes earlier and does just this. Being eager for Piesc and the humans to move on, the herd's leader happily informs them that the Blaziken tribe they are likely referring to lives only a short ways away from where they currently are. Only a bit higher and further around to the western side of the mountain.

Rei leaves some berries as snacks for the heard as they go. She can't understand the bickering between Piesc and Kopi, but she can understand the latter is probably just trying to annoy the former. She's tried to calm them before, to little avail. As long as they aren't actively fighting each other, it should be ok.
With that (and directions), Rei leads the group to their final destination.

Kopi seems to have satisfied his daily lust for annoying Piesc, as he falls silent for the remainder of the journey. Despite not having an exact location, it isn't more than an hour before Rei and Holly are accosted by a small group of Combusken. They are apparently forward scouts for their Brood, and want to know why humans are entering their territory.

The Combusken look at one another, clearly recognizing the name. "What you want with Chief's daughter?" They inquire. "Here to pick a fight?" They don't seem upset at the prospect of you picking a fight with Brenda, in fact, it seems almost expected.

They chuckle, muttering something akin to 'may end up fighting anyway' as they agree to see if she's interested in talking to you. You are instructed to wait here while they relay the message. They take a few steps back and one lifts its head to the sky before firing a series of bursts of flame into the air as a signal. The look back in the direction you were headed and watch as the signal is relayed. A few minutes after the last one dissipates, a new set of signals rises in the distance and is relayed back to you.
"She'll come talk to you." The Combusken sentries impart. No more than ten minutes later, the familiar blonde strolls into the clearing.
"Yo. Heard there were humans asking for me." She peers at Rei suspiciously for a moment. "Oh yeah... you were the one hanging out with the Monkey Boy, right? So what'cha want?"

Rei shakes her head as she tries to focus. The thin air the climb must have gotten to her a litte.
"No, wait. That's not what I meant. I'm gathering as many allies as I can to STOP someone who threatens all of Kanto, if not the whole world. Someone has stolen the power of death itself and she's going to eventually make a move on the capital of the nation, and take over. With an army of warriors brought back from the dead that seem unstoppable. We have to stop her at that point or anyone she kills will just rise up to join her ranks. Then she'll spread across the nation like a wildfire. I need strong allies to stop her, and seeing how quickly you bested Clay in your match not too long ago, I thought of you first."

Brenda shrugs. "I mean, with allies like Monkey Boy at your side, I can see why you'd need help. Not sure how you expect to fight literal Death though. That seems like something that ought to be impossible. That said, I guess I'm up for it. Beats sitting on my ass waiting for Death to rain from the skies or whatever. I could probably convince the Brood to rise up for the final fight as well if it poses as serious a threat as you make it sound. If this person wipes out the humans, then there goes our biggest buffer against them."

Rei just lets the insult to Clay pass by. She needs Brenda's help so best to just let that slide.
"So for full clarification, this is a human woman who managed to kill the pokemon god tied to death, Yveltal. She's stolen his powers and has upset the balance in the world. We've talked to Yveltal's opposite, the life pokemon Xerneas, and enlisted their help when our fight takes place. And as for what we are expecting..."
Rei then proceeds to describe the future vision nightmare to Brenda.
"... And that's what we'll be facing. The longer it goes the harder it's going to get. So if you can convince them, that's great! If it's just you, then I can use your help as well. I've recently claimed an underground base of some pokemon poachers that were dealt with previously. It's now empty... and 'mostly' de-trapped. We'll have to set aside some time to finish cleaning it up. I want to turn that into a base for us and everyone else I recruit. There are things we need to do in the lead up to the day. Allies to make, power to get... and if we can find a weakness of hers or her creations, that would be incredibly useful."
She pauses.
"So if you wish to come with me once you can, that'd be great. But if you are going to stay here until whenever our final battle might be and help just at that point, I understand and that's fine. Either way, we'll need you."

Well that was at least a promise of help. Without any promise of fighting at the moment, Rei just has to let her go for now. At least she's got the promise of help, possibly from more than just Brenda. Rei turns to the others.
"Lets head back into the forest. I have an idea now."
With Piesc and Holly back in tow, they head back down the mountain. They head toward the area where Clay's troop lived. But they avoid going inside it, instead heading to find the border of their territory. Rei's looking for where it ends because she's looking for other very non-fire monkeys at the other end. The Mankey troop.

It's not terribly difficult to find the borders of Clay's troop's territory. The hardest part is actually getting back down the mountain to reach the right area, especially since the group has to swing wide to the west to find the Mankey troop. While walking through the slightly more heavily forested area, Piesc suddenly stops them.
"They are all around us." He explains. "Dozens of Mankey, and a few Primeape. They are not happy we are here." He then looks Rei in the eyes. "Whatever you do, do not look them in the eyes. To them, that is a challenge, and they will not relent, even beyond the borders of their territory if riled."

Rei nods to Piesc as he sees them all. Rei stops the group, puts her hands up, and looks up at nothing in particular.
"We know you Mankey and Primeape are out there. We just want to talk."

There is much hooting and screeching that echoes through the trees in response. Rei doesn't need Piesc to translate to understand that they just issued a warning to leave. The only one the group is getting.

By the time Team Reilly arrives in Celadon, it is nearly dusk. The sun is setting low in the west, and the daylight is fading. Just as they're approaching the gate, they hear one of the guards call out that there's only 20 minutes until the gate is closed for the night; after which it will not be re-opened until morning.
