"Maybe. Don't think it'd work if they're not on the move, though, would it?" Clay perches on the arm of a chair, swinging his arms. "I guess we could try and catch them when they go for the Zangoose but we don't know when that's gonna be, just 'soon'."
Which is an unpleasant reminder that they only have so long to deliberate. There is a time limit, even if they're not sure how long it is.

Tiki leans back in her seat, and swings her legs. "Hmm...I feel like we would have a better chance at running into them at nighttime. Rei did run into one around...midday?" She scratches her head. "If anything, we wont find 'em here. Heading out to look for clues sounds fine."

"Problem is that then we'd have to hang around the whole time in case we missed them." He drums his fingers against the chair he's sitting on wrong. "... We could try checking around where Rei found one before? If we stick together we can probably handle them. Numbers make a big difference. And then if we can get one down we can, uh... what's the word? In, inter..."
Clay frowns as he tries to think of the word he means. "Intergate?"

"Well that might be one of the only ways we can find out any information, although I don't know how likely we are to find another one out in the open with us all searing for them. I wasn't exactly searching the first time..."
Rei shakes off the painful memory before continuing.
"Let's just begin searching south of where the camp 'should' be. Maybe we'll come across them,
maybe we'll find evidence of who they are hunting."
With that, Rei begins moving back into the forest south-west of Mt Moon.

Tiki hops up, and follows Rei. Worst case scenario, Rei gets attacked while she's alone again. No way Tiki would let that happen again. "Ooo! I come come too!"

"Okay, let's get going!" Clay hops off the chair and follows along with Fan loping next to him. After all, the idea was that they stick together - they might cover less ground that way but they'll be much safer.

Sano hesitates a moment.
"Actually, I've been thinking, and I believe it'd be best if one of us heads back to get backup from the guild. The rest of us should continue to scout out and make some progress in understanding the area better." He kicks the dirt, covering his tracks absentmindedly.
"I could head back somewhat speedily and get us some support. I'd be more confident taking on these guys knowing we have some heavier firepower if needed."

You make it back to town without incident, and your captive has been strangely quiet the whole trip. When you check on her, you find a very realistic dummy made out of twigs and leaves stuffed into her clothing still tied to Raido. You have absolutely no idea how she managed to do this without being noticed, let alone when it happened, but they did.

Rei slips into a moment of uncharacteristic anger and frustration, before sighing and trying to calm down.
"Damnit now she's still out there, able to do this again, and we get nothing but stress. Back to square one I believe..."

"I don't think so Tiki. If anything, that Thief is probably smart enough to know not to try again after being beaten, but I bet she'd be more scared of that woman we met, anyway. She'll probably stay away from 'her forest', at any rate..."

"We oughta tell the mayor or someone just to be safe, but we can do that later." Clay may be hoping to come upon an excuse not to be present when they do so. He's still a little uncertain about the attention he gets from her.
"Wanna try again? See if we can run across anything useful?" Clay's head still aches and he's breathing a little funny but he's not about to let that stop him. The side of his leg brushes against Red Child's shoulder as they stand around the stuffed suit.

Tiki wakes up a while later after being beaten. She holds her head as she took a nasty hit to the head. She looks around at her knocked out pokemon, and starts to cry a little bit. Today was not good for poor Tiki. She gets up, collects her pokemon, and slowly walks back to town.
If anyone heads by the infirmary, you'll find Tiki, bandages on her leg, arm, and head. She looking down at the ground, looking quite sad.

After Rei deals with the Sailor and collects her winnings, she looks around, and doesn't find an inkling of either Clay or Tiki. Hoping maybe they just went back to town to heal up, and needing that herself after getting slashed and blasted, Rei heads to the infirmary, as herself and a couple of her pokemon need healing, especially Kopi. When she gets in there, she spies a bandaged up Tiki, and she rushes over to her side.
"Tiki, what happened?!"

Tiki barely looks up. "I got into a battle....I got bit on my leg, and punched on the back of my head....T-Then Lovers, and Justice got hurt....*sniffles*"

Rei just sits down next to Tiki, and envelops her in a hug.
"It's ok. You are ok. You did this for me after my fight with the poacher, it's time for me to return the favor. Your pokemon will be fine. Pokemon are hardier than us."
Rei asks to get healed up and then just continues to keep Tiki company.

Tiki is calmed by the ever present calming aura of Rei. After a while Tiki is feeling better, but would rather stick close to Rei, "Have you found any clues yet?"
