Rei pouts a bit herself.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it like that! I just... If I didn't think you could handle yourself I'd be guarding you constantly and not let you out of my sight! But... I just remember when I showed up how hurt you looked, and we've become such fast and good friends, and I don't want you to be like that again. Not if I can help it!"
Rei looks away and looks back.
"There's also the fact that if the battle proves too much, one of us humans should run to go get help. I don't think we'll need it, I believe in our skills, but sometimes luck is a cruel mistress. One of us who can actually talk should be the one still healthy and ready."
Rei smiles once more.

Tiki feels an urge to argue more, but stays quite as Rei just is just worrying. Tiki's stance softens, and she latches onto Rei's arm. She smiles up at her. "I get it. I'll be there for you, Rei. I know you'll be there for me too, right?" Upon reaching Genevieve's office, she knocks, and enters. "Hi Miss G!"

Apparently having been caught in the middle of some important work, Genevieve politely but quickly learns what you want and gives you the information that you need for the mission.
Mission info- The culprits in question are some sort of white-furred, bipedal Pokemon with sharp claws.
- They generally attack lone travelers or small groups around dusk, when the low light makes it harder for humans to see.
- Nobody has been seriously injured yet, but attacks seem to be becoming more frequent.
- It's possible the attacks against humans were provoked by poachers, as Cerulean claims to have had problems with such in the past and they don't have the resources to spare to track them down.

Tiki takes down notes, and after thank Miss G, leaves with Rei back towards the infirmary. "Hmm...Sharp claws. Poachers. Dangerous stuff. Do you need anything before we take off?"

After Rei also mentions getting a few new pokemon friends for that one quest, Rei thanks Geneveive as well, noting that she always seems busy. Rei thinks maybe she offer help at some point, get a bit of load off her shoulders. But for now...
Hmmm. If it 'is' poachers, perhaps going after them and calling the pokemon down might be an option? We have time to think on it as we wait for Tiki's pokemon.
Rei turns again to Tiki.
"Well other than waiting for your team to be fully healed, maybe some last minute supplies?"
She thinks for a moment.
"Come with me, since we have some time I think maybe one more pokemon friend in my party, maybe someone that can help us out?"

After a supply run and the floof army has been dealt with, Rei mounts up of Raido and they head off north on the road to Cerulean Cape Town. Meanwhile she keeps an eye out for their would be attackers.

Tiki marches along next to Rei, and Raido, while she tries to wrangle her new Corphish. "Now, Tower, don't you remember what I said ab-" The Corphish takes a swipe at Tiki. "See! That's what I'm talking about! How are we gonna put on a per-" Tower flails its legs, and tries to grab at Tiki again. "...perform a show if you act like this. Your gonna scare away the audience!" It glares at Tiki and snaps its claws threateningly. "Ooooo mister we are gonna have a talk later! I apologize for his behavior, Rei."

"No need to apologize. Certain pokemon are going to be set in their ways- Oh ummm..."
While Tiki had turned to Rei, the Corphish snapped down on a bit of Tiki's hair. Rei points it out to her friend.

Tiki blinks, and then notices the predicament she's in. Tower tugs at her hair, and she winces. She scolds, pleads, and wrestles with Corphish for what seems like a while. Tiki is finally able to pull herself loose, and recalls the naughty lobster into its' ball. A few strands of hair stick out of the ball. "Owwww...Are we there yet?..."

After some walking, and some more walking, and then some extra waiting... it begins to seem like nothing is happening. Granted, the 'bad Pokemon' are said to come out around dusk, and it's still midday. So you decide to do random things to pass the time. Once dusk arrives, you start paying more attention. Having made camp on the side of the road near the super-tall grass, you decide to take turns keeping watch so that at least one person is 'fresh' if combat starts. Just as the gloom of dusk starts to deepen into full-on nighttime, the current watcher hears rustling coming from the grass. Moments later, 3 bipedal, white-furred Pokemon with seemingly glowing red eyes emerge.

Tiki twiddles her thumbs, and draws in the dirt during her shift, and hears some rustling. She sits up, and peers through the grass to see the three intimidating creatures. She gulps, and shakes Rei to get her up from her rest. "Rei...Rei...I think they are here. Get up."

Rei gets up to Tiki's call, and stands up straight, brushing herself off. Shinpuru, her eternal companion, keeps to her side. He's waiting, as Rei had told him to hold off. She places her umbrella on her shoulder once more, and steps forward. "Well I'm glad you've stepped forward rather than going straight on the offensive. Because we know you are attacking only because other humans are attacking you in the first place. We wanna help!"Charm : 11 (Unless Tiki assists  ) |

Tiki stands behind Rei, and smiles. "Yeah, what she said! We are here to make sure no innocent people get hurt anymore. We also don't want you to get hurt either!"
