Sano waves and greets the other half of the group before rejoining the conversation.
"I'm both glad and perplexed that we didn't have another nightmare. Perhaps we avoided some trigger yesterday that we accidentally did the last two days. Or maybe whatever strange being that's been giving us these dreams decided to give us a break." He shrugs, grabbing an apple off the table. "Or maybe it was just random."
Sano smiles at Rei's new mollusc companion.
"Hello, friend. You look very brave. It's nice to meet you." He turns to acknowledge the Growlithe. "And you too, Red Child. I heard you gave Clay a run for his money last night. I think you'll fit in just fine."
Not engaged with the silly humans talking nearby, Hanko bristles as a trainer and her Patrat walk by the party's table. Sano picks him up and strokes his ears a little, calming him a bit. "Hanko still has some untapped energy as well, even after our hour long run. We were planning on doing a little friendly sparring with someone, but I haven't looked into who yet."

Tiki smiles brightly to all her friends. She then looks to Sano. "That could be fun, and we have very similar pokemon so it could be pretty even. I also need to go out to train, and stuff today too. Don't forget there are some missions we could still do! It's some small stuff, but hey it's something!" Tiki finishes eating, and gets up. "OK! I'll be back in a little bit! Got some work to do!" She waves, runs out of the hall, and makes it back out to Route 3. She sends out her pokes, and once again, they do their daily exercises, and routine practice.

Rei bids Clay and Sano a good morning before checking out the board. Scanning the missions she considers a few of them before heading out to find a trainer. She still wants to give Hari and Sheru a try in a fight first before doing anything else.

"Competition sounds like fun! But yeah, I've got training to do first, too. They're pretty serious in my branch, this one girl's Pokémon evolved just in the past couple days."
As the group breaks up and his food finally disappears, Clay stretches his arms out and rolls his shoulders. "I think I'm gonna check out the west road today. Uh, Route One, I guess. Haven't been there yet. That's the way out toward the capital, right? Should be an interesting place. See you 'round, Sano."

Sano blinks as all his friends run off to their respective errands. After bidding them all farewell, he decides to check if there are any tasks needing completion back at his home guild.

Seems like nobody particularly needs help with anything at present in the Poison Branch, and there is still the generic "find new Poison Types and bring back info on them" quest that is always up, but beyond that, there doesn't seem to be anything Branch-specific. At the same time though, there don't seem to be any restrictions on doing quests for other branches (though from Clay's description, Fire may be much more selective in who can do what). Could always try Normal Branch. They seem pretty open, and Tiki mentioned in passing once that there are always tons of quests there (and they're even sorted by difficulty).

Sano finds several quests that are familiar (ones Tiki mentioned on official day 1), as well as a whole slew of others, mostly involving "fetch (item name) and bring it to (this location)". All of these are ranked F because they are simple. Seems like a lot of folks use the adventurer's guild as an excuse to be lazy and get people to do their shopping for them for cheap. A few of them are more involved, such as finding lost pets and the like. Then there are the absurdly difficult or obscure quests, but most of these (ranked B and above) don't provide full details on the board and instead direct the reader to locate the person managing the quest for the details. Sano could easily have his pick of easy, mindless quests if he wanted.

Genevieve tells Sano that someone in Saffron seems to have lost their pet Meowth and would like help finding them. They're fairly wealthy, and the missing Pokemon is quite dear to them. As such, they are offering a reward of 300 crowns to anyone who can find and return it to them. To assist in getting it to come to the rescuer, they suggest acquiring its favorite food: fresh cod from Cerulean Cape Town, which is sold in the market here in town. Aside from that, it's got a small chunk missing from one of its ears, a token from its days as a Wild alley cat. It's unlikely to have left town (what with the plethora of food and shelter all around), so it should be somewhere in Saffron still.

Tiki is back in the guild's infirmary, and she hands over her pokemon to the nurses. She thanks them, and goes to get a snack, but spots her favorite white haired dancer. "RRRREEEEEIIII!!!!" She runs up, and throws her arms around Rei. "Hiya, Rei! It feels like forever since I saw ya! What you doin'?"

Rei dismounts from Raido, returns him, and carries the Zigzagoon inside. Hoping to both of her tasks at the same time, she heads into the Normal Branch. Before she gets anywhere, she is once again surprised hugged by an enthusiastic Tiki.
"Tiki, it's only been a couple hours! It's not even like yesterday where I was bed-ridden for a while and missed half the day. I was just coming back into the branch to get some more food for my new friend here, who was so hungry he jumped in my bag to get food! I also wanted to get some info on the 'bad pokemon' mission, I was going to hope to clear them out."
Rei seems to get an idea and turns to Tiki.
"Oh! Do you want to help me? I could use the support doing this! Give it a minute while I get food for this one. I also got something to ask of it."
Rei raids the Normal Branches supply of trail mixes (Hey it liked hers and isn't sick) and feeds it. She sits down next to the munching pokemon.
"You know a cutie like you would do well traveling with me! I'll keep you well fed, that's for sure! And you can help me!"
Rei holds an empty ball out.

Tiki giggles. "I know, but I'm always happy to see you guys! Oh you're going after that mission?" After digging around her scarf, she pulls out her list of missions. "Seems like it might pretty tough, and I don't want you gettin hurt, so, yeah I'll come!" She watches Rei interact with her new friend. She then smiles, and turns to Rei. "Aww thanks for callin' me cute, and thanks for feedin' me too! But, I don't think I'll fit in there!" Tiki giggles again.

Rei rolls her eyes but is clearly amused by Tiki's antics.
"Well you 'are' cute. But I wasn't referring to you silly."
Rei playfully bonk Tiki on her head with the turned apricorn, before re-offering it to the pokemon.

The Zigzagoon seems to find the offer of plentiful food in exchange for occasional service agreeable and pops into the ball.
Level 8, Male, Adamant, with Pickup.

As the Zigazoon is absorbed into the ball, something the Zigzagoon was holding drops to the floor. Curious, Rei picks it up. It's a Nest Ball! ...With a few bite marks on it. Guess it thought it was a snack.
"...Zumu. Welcome to the family."
Rei turns to Tiki once more.
"I suppose I get to turn in the 'make a friend' quest now, don't I? Lets go find Lady Genevieve and do that and get the info we need. And a few hours is fine, we can just sit and relax or maybe you can just go out with me while I get some more training in with my new friends!"
Rei starts walking in search of the Branch Leader, but turns to Tiki.
"Now I know you said you don't want me getting hurt, but you 'know' how I work in combat. I've been trained to be really tough, and take hits for others. I am more worried about you myself. Leave combat to your pokemon and me, ok? I don't want to see YOU getting hurt."

Tiki blushes, and her cheeks puff up. "Hey! I can take care of myself! We fought off a creepo today! He coulda been some kinda pervert, but we beat him back. Hmph!" She folds her arms, and pouts. "I might be more effective in the back of a battle,, but I can contribute just as much."
