"Ok then...You know where to find me if you need to stay somewhere. Night everybody." Tiki walks back to her room, and humming with Star in her arms. She gets into her PJs, and flops onto the bed. Star curls up against her side, under the covers. Tiki pets her, and her eyes slowly get heavy. "These past few days have been pretty crazy huh? Even though its...*Yyyaaawwnn*...we just barely got here, We've already done so much....We still got more to do....zzzzzzzzz"

Hanko's face scrunches up as Tiki squeezes him, but he's all but resigned to these heightened levels of affection. The brooding fluffball struggles a bit, escaping from Tiki and retreats behind Sano. "Thank you Sano. It is reassuring to know we have someone with your medical talents among our group."
..."I mean they 'are' cute, I would not mind having one as a companion myself. But we'll have to see if one will be willing to join me like the two others I got today." "Ah, its no problem. We look out for each other, that much is clear. We're a little like a... family, I suppose." Sano cocks his head, amused at his own use of the word. "On the note of the Eevee, I'm sure we can find some more around where I found Hanko. They are delightful creatures." He smiles down at his new friend, who is in the middle of a grueling staring contest with another trainer's Patrat. When Rei mentions the Steel branch, Sano flinches a little. "Ah, I was afraid of this. I spoke with my branch leader and she warned me that the lady who attacked us in the woods was in fact the leader of the new Dark Branch. Not a lot of people know about it and it's being closely watched around the clock by none other than the Steel Branch. I hoped to catch you before you committed so you could make an educated decision, but it looks like I'm too little too late." He shrugs, picking up Hanko. "I think you're allowed one switch if you change your mind. Tiki has the right idea, though. It's been a busy day, and I could use a little rest."

Out of character for Rei so far, she facepalms.
"Oh of course it's right next to where I've made my home. Why wouldn't it be?"
Rei shakes it off and looks determined.
"No, this is right. If there's one of our new family to guard you all from her, and possibly keep you all informed, then it should be me."
Rei goes back to smiling.
"I promise I'll be careful, Sano. But yes, get some rest. If Tiki and I decide another party is in order I expect you well rested. I will save a dance for you."
Rei giggles.

Sano blushes at the thought of a dance with Rei, and excuses himself to his branch.
When he arrives, Sano cleans his room a bit, picking up some of the RageCandyBar wrappers left on the floor by his roommate and gets ready for bed. Mitis promptly snuggles up beside him, and the two drift off much more content than last night.

Rei looks confusedly on as Sano makes himself scarce.
Did...did I say something wrong?
Rei pouts a little before looking to Clay.
"Don't think those injuries excludes you from your chance to dance with me as well. You always seem so energetic. Not to Tiki levels, but I think she tires quickly too."
Rei makes a face as she remembers something.
"I've been meaning to ask Clay... last night you said something about being a Chimchar before? What was that supposed to mean?

Clay gives her a sideways grin, waving at Sano and Tiki as they head for bed. "Well, I've never danced before but I guess I can try! Sorry, got in late after that dog thing and I didn't want to interrupt. I keep missing whenever Tiki puts on a show, too."
Aaaand... there's that. He's surprised the others never actually got around to asking about this, though they've seen more of him talking to Pokémon than Rei has. "I was wondering when somebody was gonna say something. I was never really a Chimchar, just my family. I grew up in an Infernape troop on Mount Moon, that's why I can speak Pokémon language." As far as he knows, anyway. "I guess I had human parents sometime but I never knew 'em. First time I saw humans was... uh, last fall I think?"
He plops onto a stool with his feet up on the seat and his arms hanging down. "Fan's my sister, she came with me when I went to go see what was up with humans. Master Nob's been more or less teaching me to be human, but it's really confusing sometimes. The Pokéball thing's still kind of weird. I only caught Fan 'cause otherwise somebody else would." He glances toward the door. "Hope she's okay, today was pretty rough on her."

Rei listens, all with a smile, nodding occasionally.
"I was thinking of bringing it up earlier but you said it as more... pressing issues were being had. I was only curious, but you never know with the world, you could have been a Chimchar someone turned human with a magic spell!"
Rei giggles to herself.
"I'll make sure to address Fan as your family rather than 'your pokemon' from now on. But Clay, I wouldn't worry about her. The healers do good work here. She will be fine."
Rei shifts her face to something more thoughtful.
"I have noticed you speaking pokemon language, but I will say... If you've only been acting among humans since last fall, then call me impressed! I wouldn't have been able to guess it from the way you act, and then you understand pokemon like no other. I'm a little jealous, actually."
If Clay's looking, there's almost a twinge of pain crossing Rei's face that's gone as fast as it appears.
"Oh! So that means you might of heard Shinpuru all this time? I hope he's been nothing but polite to you."

Clay chuckles a little himself. "Nope, mom was pretty sure I'd always been like this. No fur, no tail, no fire. Even if Boss Lady tried to, uh, help me out with that last one."
He shrugs expressively at the compliment, but still gives her one of his (close-lipped) smiles. "Master Nob's a good teacher. But thanks."
And there's another chuckle when Shinpuru comes up. "I dunno about polite but I think we understand each other. He's a fighter, packs a lot of spirit in that little body. And he hasn't made fun of my, uh..." He taps a hand on the stool. "What's the word for when you talk funny? Starts with an 'aah'. Anyway he hasn't made fun of me for mostly speaking Rattata at him yet."

"I believe 'accent' is the word you were looking for. And I suppose it's good. Shinpuru know's he is a strong warrior, and certainly acts like it. I'll make sure he knows you understand him and for him to be more polite in the future."
Rei notices a few of his glances off in the distance.
"Your still waiting on healing, right? Would you like me to keep you company as you wait? Due to some circumstances earlier in the day, I'm not that tired. I'd be happy to stay by your side until your sister and your team are ok."
Rei beams once more.

"Oh, he knows I can understand what he's saying. It's no big deal. We don't need fancy manners, we understand each other just fine - little guy coulda been a Fighting-type with that attitude." Clay can't help smiling; he kind of envies Shinpuru not having to deal with human manners and just being able to say what's on his mind.
He shrugs in response to her offer. "Thanks. Shouldn't be too long, though, I left them before I came up here. You ever run into one of those little orange dog things? They have some serious bite. And apparently the candle guys are pretty fragile." He winces a little at the memory - Flower's first fight was not a rousing success.
Then he stifles a yawn... or, well, at least tries to hide it behind his hand. "Wow, I didn't even fight and I'm exhausted. Being a trainer's a lot of work, huh?"

Rei gestures for Clay to follow her back to the infirmary.
"I'm afraid I haven't run into one, so I wouldn't know. But you caught it, right? So don't you have it's power now? And as for your spirit, they don't have full bodies so I suppose some of them may not be able to take much. I'd be careful with Flower going forward."
Rei continues to chat with Clay for a while until Clay's pokemon are healed. Now that his family is back together, Rei bids them a good night so they may get the rest they deserve. With nothing left to do, Rei herself returns to the Steel Branch to turn in for the night.

Clay's still kind of awkward at small talk, but it's easier with Rei, since she always seems genuinely interested. Once he's collected everybody from the healers, he heads back to his own dorm. The area around his bed is starting to get awfully crowded, what with his habit of letting all his Pokémon sleep outside their balls (or... whatever Flower does while everybody else is sleeping).
He meets his new addition's eyes firmly, holding the doglike Pokémon's gaze. No trouble tonight, okay? If you wanna have a leadership thing or whatever, let's save it for the morning. Once he thinks he's gotten the message across he flops down onto the bed, allowing Fan and Sandy to snuggle up (though Sandy doesn't snuggle in too close; he's decided sleep piles are a little warm for him). After a moment the dog joins them. He'll think of a name for the dog in the morning. Right now it isn't very long before he's out like a light.

It was morning again, and Tiki suddenly jolts up from her slumber. She is in the noisy mess hall during breakfast. She looks around, sees she was able to properly dress herself, and has a piece of toast in her mouth. She has no memory of making to this spot. After rubbing her eyes, she continues to slowly munch on her toast. Boy I was more tired than I thought....Hmm...I do remember...rolling out of bed...climbing through a mountain of fan mail...a shower...that's it. Tiki then stretches out, and looks at the note with missions written on it. Should I take up another mission? Maybe check to see if any new ones popped up. She very slowly gets up, and shuffles over to the missions board, still munching on her toast.

Rei wakes in the largely unpopulated dorm, which is a bit relaxing compared to her last night in the Normal Branch. As fun as it was to have a sleepover with Tiki, it was a tad crowded. She gets herself ready, going back to a traditional white Kimono (The red one was a bit tattered from her 'battle' the day before). She takes out her party, opting to clean them up after their respective tussels yesterday. Shinpuru had not been injured in anything but always seems to attract dirt in his fur. Raido is going to need it any day she rides him around town. And Hari and Sheru were both wild, although instead of something traditional, she opts to polish the helmet of her little knight. She also takes the opportunity to write a couple more tags. Morning Training, using Grooming Edge
Training Shinpuru, Hari, Raido, Sheru. Applying Agility training to all four.
Made two Cleanse Tags Once that was out of the way, she opted to hold off eating for the moment. Returning all but Sheru in her hands and Shinpuru loyally at her side, she makes her way deep into the Steel Branch, wondering if Miss Shields has more for her today. Rei keeps Sheru out of Shinpuru's teeth testing range. Although Shinpuru was more preoccupied with the fact that Rei was returning to where she was downed so easily the day previous, and was a tad on edge.

Clay rolls out of bed and sticks his head out into the main area of Fire Branch, just in case Lady Ashera's handing out surprise tasks again on top of "be ready to show what you've got in two weeks". Assuming nothing like that is in evidence, he'll proceed with getting himself and his Pokémon moderately presentable and... immediately head to breakfast. Because after his first two days at the guild he's not inclined to eat late unless he has to.
Of course, somewhere in there he has to decide on his new companion's name. Clay is rapidly beginning to realize that he is not the best at names. "You know what? Master Nob told me a story about a guy who could shoot fire that couldn't be put out. I think I'll call you Red Child, after him. Anyway, you're kinda red."
So Clay wanders into the mess hall and once again gathers up way more food than most people could eat - but then, it's not like he's the only person feeding his Pokémon off his plate, either. He's made sure to get some extra meat, since he's got a serious carnivore on his hands now and he's hoping tasty meat will endear him to the newly-named Red Child. He'll make sure to keep a lookout for any of his friends too.

Getting the news that she won't be challenged anytime soon, Rei bids Miss Shields a good day and heads to get breakfast. That's when she notices Clay.
"Good morning Clay! Is everyone feeling better after healing and rest?"
She sets Sheru down, who today only gets 'I'm watching you' glares from Shinpuru. The Helmet clanks as Sheru once again hides in the helmet.

Sano awakens early in the morning before the sun. Pleased with the lack of nightmare the night before, he allows his Pokemon to sleep in and goes into the lab to work on some new supplies. After crafting a few antidotes and smoke balls, Sano decides to train a little before breakfast. His newer Pokemon aren't very receptive at first, but after about an hour or so they're ready to take on the day. Mitis and Hanko are particularly energetic, so Sano takes them both for a run on the outskirts of town. He arrives a little winded at the dining hall, sitting down across from Tiki before snatching a piece of bread from the table and pouring a bowl of MooMoo milk. "Morning, Tiki!" He says cheerfully, placing the bowl on the bench for his running companions. "How'd you sleep?"crafted 3 antidotes and smoke balls, Inspire Trained all four Pokes and XP trained Mitis and Hanko for 5 xp each.

Tiki suddenly jolts up from her slumber. She is still in the noisy mess hall during breakfast. She looks around, and sees she was able to make it back safely to her seat after falling back asleep after not seeing anything at the mission board. She now has a bagel in her mouth. She notices Sano, and waves. "Hrai Shano!" she says through the fluffy bread. She then takes a bite, and rubs her eyes. "I shlept ok...Shtill tired afsher the parthy!" After finally swallowing, she giggled, and wiped her mouth. "Thankfully no nightmares! Hopefully they don't come back. Anywayyyyysss. You doing anything later?" Tiki goes right back to eating.

Oh, yay, everybody's here for breakfast. "Much better, yeah. Morning, everybody! Oh, right... this is Red Child." Clay picks up the Growlithe to introduce him. Everybody gets a doggy smile. "He's the reason I was so late getting in last night. This guy's got some teeth on him." He ruffles Red Child's mane lightly.
"No nightmares here, either. Kinda weird after two nights in a row." He leans over to inspect Sheru, who he hasn't met yet. "Oh, he's new, haven't met him yet. It's a... metal snail? Bet he's tough."

"I suppose that's good that there was no more nightmares. Maybe a good sign?"
Sheru opens back up after being addressed.
"I suppose you could call Sheru that. I call him my brave knight. I believe he and I should do some training later today.
