As the boss finally falls, Rei collapses onto the ground. She lays back in the grass, and uncharacteristically, she looks very tired and worn out. She sits back up and pouts at Tiki. "I feel really bad it had to come to this. Both of us had our teams ravaged by their claws. 'I' got ravaged by claws. And now we have to 'try' and convince them after we defeated them all."She looks down at her Kimono, in complete tatters. "I'm going to need a Dress Maker on hand now. Maybe that one girl I met earlier... Anyway!"She gets up, and takes out her box of Medical Supplies. "I guess we have to mend fences for now."Rei begins to work, starting with a couple of minutes on the leader, and then one some of the other attackers. Med Kit rolls

Tiki drops her knees, and lets out a large sigh. "I feel like we made it worse for these pokemon..." She looks at Rei's tattered clothes, then looks at her injured pokemon in their balls., and sighs again. "Yeah...Let's hope this goes better than last time..."

Team Reiki gains 1 trainer xp for surviving the massive battle, as well as 44 Poke XP each.
After some time spent resting and waiting around, the wilds begin to stir, picking themselves up. They seem much more wary of these humans sitting before them, even as their leader also regains its feet. This would be so much easier if someone could actually talk to them...

Rei's expression changes to something determined as the pokemon begin to wake. She's really only got one good shot at this. Time to make it work. She stands before the leader, and considers bowing or being gracious but decides against it. Would probably just come off as condesending at the very least. She brings out her newest member, Zumu, hopefully to act as a median between the two parties, if need be.
"This... this whole thing was to prove a point. We-"
Rei points to Tiki and herself.
-came here at first to speak with you. But you decided to attack us like so many others. Yes, the humans around here have noticed you've all attacked them. And us two small humans took you all on and won. Think about that one. And at any time during the fight-"
Rei brings out a basic apricorn.
"-We could have captured you. But we didn't."
She drops the ball on the ground.
"Instead we helped you after you all went down."
The dancer points to the First Aid Kit now on the ground next to some of the still-down Zangoose.
"Anyone else wouldn't have been so kind. They would have just tried to defeat you all and be done with it. But me and my friend Tiki are kinder than that. We want you to live here in peace. But we know WHY you are attacking humans."
Rei looks to some of the other underlings.
"Bad humans are stealing your friends away, aren't they? Unfairly. We want to help you."

They all hiss and flatten their ears down when you bring out an apricorn ball, and relax only slightly when you drop it to the ground instead of using it against them. They don't seem to quite understand the significance of the First Aid Kit. Likely because it's a human thing. They also seem to think that the only reason you won is because of the other Pokemon you had with you, based on their gestures.
You get the sense that they understand your (current) non-hostility, and possibly your mention of 'bad humans stealing (your) friends', but without a proper translator, there seems little more you can do at present. Certainly, Zumu does its best to translate for you, but that still only goes one way. It can understand you only slightly better than the Wilds, and passes along what it can to them, but there is still that disconnect between human speech and Pokemon speech.

Tiki watches as Rei tries to explain what they want to the the creatures, but it seems they can only understand so much. Tiki scratches her head in deep thought, but then an idea pops into her head. With a snap of her fingers, she brings out Star, and after a few whispers, they take their place between the two parties. "Don't worry! I have an idea, Rei!" Tiki, and Star then fully pantomime their entire situation.
Star plays the part of an innocent pokemon, happily strolling, and prancing around. Tiki then creeps out of the nearby bushes, hair slick back, and scarf over her mouth like a mask. She stalks the Eevee, then suddenly grabs her by the scruff of the neck, and laughs menacingly, while Star shakes in fear. This shows that there are poachers out stealing pokemon. Tiki then breaks character, points to her and Rei, makes a big 'X' with her arms, and shakes her head angrily to tell them that they are not poachers. Moving back to Star, they play around a bit. She then picks up, hugs and kisses Star, and gives Rei a big hug. This shows that they are friendly, and are not out to hurt anyone. They then have Star fake tackle the disguised Tiki, and then play with normal Tiki. This shows that they should be fighting the bad people, and not innocent trainers. Star hops onto Tiki's shoulder, then Tiki makes a bold move. She approaches the leader, and very gently takes his massive claw, and pets it. "See? We are not here to hurt you. We are gonna help, and we'll be friends, ok?" Tiki then smiles sweetly, and Star yips with her tail wagging.

The Pokemon seem more confused now than before. At least they don't seem angry anymore? That's a plus.

As it turns out, someone rather interesting does walk through. A masked boy with a purple-furred monkey on his shoulder that appears to be juggling as he walks.

Oh, hey, Clay's seen one of those monkeys before. He didn't get to interact with her much then, so maybe he can make friends with this one and its trainer. Besides, primates have to stick together! Except Mankeys, screw Mankeys. In any case, walking around in a mask and juggling qualifies as something pretty interesting.
Granted, the monkey-boy with a floating candle in tow is probably a pretty unusual sight, too. Clay wanders over with a grin. "Hey! Don't think I've seen you around before. Name's Clay. Oh, and this is Flower." Say hi to the nice human. "Wick! Litwick!"

He turns his head towards you, passing the balls he was juggling on to his monkey friend who places them in his pack for him.
"Ah! My name is Jax. This is my friend and juggling partner, Ace. Nice to meet you, Clay and Flower."
You can't tell if he's smiling, but he sounds friendly enough.

Rei rubs her temple trying to think of just 'how' she can explain this better. She looks down to the ball she dropped on the floor. Then she gets it.
"Tiki I think you are on the right track, but I don't think they understand the nuance of your performance."
She unsheathes the hidden blade from her umbrella, picks up the ball she head, and heads toward a nearby tree. She uses the blade to cut an outline of an adult human in it. She snaps a branch off, and sticks it in the ground and puts the ball on the end of it to make the outline 'hold' it.
"Zumu. The tree. Attack it."
The Zigzagoon looks confused, but oblidges and tackles into the form. Rei points at the boss, then Tiki, Star, Zumu, and finally herself. She then stabs her blade through the tree to 'kill' the form. She sheathes the sword and walks back to the boss.
"You, your pack, and us. We are going to fight them."
She looks back to the form for a moment before returning to her default warm smile and looks back.
"Then everyone is happy and you don't have to attack people!"

The Zangoose group look at one another briefly. They understand 'attack/fight', and seem to recognize the facsimile of a human holding an apricorn ball. However, it's difficult to tell if they now believe you are encouraging them to attack anyone holding a ball, or if you want them to do/want to help them to do something specific; like go after the poachers who keep harassing them. Since nobody is attacking them currently, they gather up their remaining unconscious fellow and begin to slowly retreat back into the grass, practically disappearing in the pitch blackness of night, despite their white fur.

"Nice to meet you, Jax!" You too, Ace! One of these days Clay will get out of the habit of switching between human and Pokémon speak in mid-conversation, but it is not this day... so Jax will be treated to the rather odd sound of Clay suddenly switching from somewhat-awkward human language to speaking fluent monkey... and then back.
"Juggling, huh? I think I've got a friend you'd get along with. She juggles, too, though mostly she sings. Her name's Tiki, she's over in the Normal Branch." He looks Ace over curiously. "What kinda Pokémon is Ace? I still don't have names to put to a lot of faces, and I met another one like him a while back."

Rei sighs and looks to Tiki.
"We need Clay, don't we?"

"I've already met Tiki, in fact. I didn't realize you were a friend of hers. She and I have a sort of friendly rivalry going on. Both as performers and adventurers. Ace's species is called 'Aipom', in fact."
Ace has come down off Jax's shoulder and is now examining Flower the floating candle. He seems surprised when his arm goes through her, then amuses himself by seeing how many times he can stick something through her before she gets annoyed.

"Definitely. Heck, both Clay and Sano here would be much better." She rubs her sore neck, and stretches a bit. "Let's get back to the guild. We all need some rest."

"Oh, cool! Rivalries are great. Helps push you both to get better. I've kinda got one, but she's got a big head start right now. Plus everybody in my branch is really competitive, she took it really hard when I beat her." He pulls a bit of a face, but then smiles brightly again. "Anyway, any friend of Tiki's is a friend of mine!"
When Jax offers Ace's species, Clay sounds the name out slowly. "Ai-pom. Got it. Sorry, I'm okay by sight but I don't know a lot of the names. I, uh, didn't grow up learning them." At least not names humans were good with.
Flower endures having her incorporeal nature tested for a surprisingly long time. She has quite a calm temperament for a Fire-type, and simply floats serenely as Ace sticks various limbs through her. Her patience might not hold out forever, but she's not about to turn on the curious Aipom just yet.

"Agreed. To both things. Lets go."
Rei winces but starts making her way back to the guild.

After several minutes of poking and prodding, Ace's curiosity seems sated and he decides to investigate Clay next.
"Now Ace, I know he makes some sounds kinda like you, but that's no reason to go climbing on people without permission. Sorry about him. He gets this way sometimes."

They get back late at night, and Rei heads with Tiki to get their pokemon (and herself) healed up. Rei decides that it's just best for herself to stay in the medical wing for the evening, as she took a beating. In the morning, she heads to fetch her personal belongings in the Steel Branch. One of her few white kimonos now ruined, she goes for her single grey one for today. As with every morning, she begins writing more Cleanse tags, and while she does, she lets everyone out to stretch their legs and train. With Shinpuru being so hurt yesterday (Although the other pokemon will hear it VERY differently from the 'grand warrior' Shinpuru), she assigns him to lead the training session while she works. During this, Zumu gets distracted with the thought of more food, and goes off exploring. After a while, Zumu comes back with something that isn't a snack exactly, and squeaks at Rei to take it. In his mouth lies a Thunder Stone. Rei, surprised, asks if Zumu stole it, which the Zigzagoon merely states he just found it on the floor. Rei's hesitant for a moment, but realizes if Zumu 'was' sneaky, he could have used it on her when they met to just steal all of her food. With that all taken care of, she recalls everyone but Zumu, hoping to reward his shiny find with a tasty meal. She sits with him in the cafeteria and waits for the others to arrive. Rei makes 2 Cleanse Tags (Power 14, Power 17)
Rei (Or more accurately, Shinpuru) Agility Trains the group, as well as xp trains Shinpuru, Raido, Hari, and Zumu
Zumu uses Pickup and finds a Thunder Stone!
